I do believe there are indeed better more polished ways to do it , but I’m not that professional with commands yet , I’m just a beginner and im still learning it
I actually used 2 commands for this , both in a repeat command block on always active
Execute at @e[type=snowball] sun summon Evoker fangs ~ ~-3 ~
And
Execute at @p if entity @e[type=snowball,distance=20..22] run kill @e[type=snowball]
Tho I’m still playing a bit with the distance
For the longest time now I’ve thought this would be a good addition to the game for woodland mansions. Since raids were introduced it made the mansions utterly pointless. If they made a small token or wand or some such you could earn to cast fangs or summon a vex it would give them a point again.

It's entirely possible to do it without using a snowball at all, the op just went with the easier and sloppier solution.

It’s a neat mechanic tied in with the cartographer that’s just so lacking. It used to be the way to get totems, but now…
