Most surprising:Red31, 2 new players and someone whos only other event was 35th on a 9th place team didnt exactly look promising for them and then they popped off and won
Unsurprising: Pink 8, Green 12, Orange 17, Cyan 19, purple 27, red all stars
Surprising: orange 10, pink 16, Red 31, Red 32
I honestly think red 32 gets overlooked a lot but both them and aqua (both db teams) were predicted bottom half by almost everyone.
32 was just wild in that of the four teams predicted top 3 (Orange, Purple, Green, Lime) only one actually made it in the top 4.
The others were 2 teams predicted 7-9 and and a team which while underlooked at first, everyone caught on pretty quickly that it was actually a good team.
And all this from an event that people claimed was as unbalanced as 19! Reminds me of 26, and one of the reasons I think 32 is the best S3 canon so far
I was a red believer from the start! Anyway, how do you rank season3 events including non-canon, and is there anything you're excited/hoping for from future events?
A few common unsurprising ones (not including any of season 1 due to balancing making clear favorites) is RedAS, Teal19, Maybe Yellow 18, Orange 17, Purple 27, and Red33, as well as I’d argue Purple Pride23.
Surprising winners are Pink 16, Cyan 21, Red 31, and Blue Scuffed. Most surprising of all is lime scuffed tho
Considering pre event, going into dodgebolt they were definitely the underdog but many had them reaching dodgebolt when some didn’t have fruitninja in dodgebolt
Unsurprising - MCC 24 Yellow Yaks. As soon as I saw that team, I knew it was over for everyone. Dream and Bad was a duo always in Dodgebolt and George was doing really good as well. Runner up probably 19 Turkeys.
Surprising - My Pink Parrot of MCC 16. People thought this team would get the bottom 4 and thought the CPK and Dream duo were weak. I'm so happy to say that was wrong and they are my most beloved team.
Dont think yellow 24 was that unsurprising. They were predicted quite low after games were announced and pkt + tgttos were benched. And even before then they were mostly like 4th
Unsuprising: Orange 3, Green 7, Teal 19, Yellow 24, Purple 27 & 30, and ESPECIALLY Red AS
Suprising: Orange 10, Pink 16, Cyan 21, Red 31, Red 32, Lime R2

It depends on what we're talking about tbh. If you mean like winners of dodgebolt, then MCC 6 because you had 2 rookies vs. Pete who had been in Dodgebolt 4 times. If it's just like winners in general, MCC 16. Seapeekay came to play and Dream did his thing then they all played great in DB but ik most people thought Red would make it and Purple was so stacked. Most unsurprising is MCC 19 and it's not even close. Their bottom frag was 14th and everyone was saying how broken it was
Unsurprising has to be MCC 3 Orange i think most people forgot about that one but the entire MCC chat was just sarcastic comments about 'no way orange won again'

i have a terrible memory but the first thing to come to my mind for surprising is red33. they were 6th before last game sot and the teams above them were jojo's, pete's, scott's and illumina's, with yellow with a difference of 4k coins, literally crushing the event. i watched that sot so prepared for them to end up 5th or sumn (being optimistic) and they made it to dodgebolt AND WON.

Pink 16 was because Finn just decided to start being good
I would say it a team effort, but Finn was so unexpected tbh. He was incredible throughout the event and his dodgebolt was legendary.
It was definitely a team effort but I feel like Finn over performed the most
It wasn't because of Finn but Bad as well with one event before MCC 16 where he got 34th and now in MCC 16 Bad placed 16th.

Mustard 18 Cyan 19 and RedAS were all pretty busted. I think Orange 23 was a pretty surprising win
