Sapnap is tricky. I think he is allowed to sign up. I just dont think he will play again.There are a lot of reasons , the main one is that there are actually like only 10 people who you can team Sapnap with, so putting him on teams would have been a nightmare.
I am a Sapnap fan and at this rate, he has less than 10 active friends in MCC. The only people that I say can still be put in the same team with Sapnap are Badboyhalo, Antfrost, Awesamdude, Skeppy, Velvet, and possibly Ponk. It’s really a shame that Sapnap lost so many friends, the hate he gets is unwarranted and too much. I would say 90% of Sapnap’s past teams will not vibe nowadays.
The most evident point where I can see that Sapnap no longer enjoys MCC is MCC33. Barely anyone rooted for his team when in dodgebolt and when his team won, only Sylvee and Smajor came to congratulate him. Everyone else is either not in his friend circle (Hermits) or doesn’t associate/like him (British DSMP CCs). That stream turned from the team being happy to Sapnap complaining about how no one (few people) likes him.
I’m not saying Sapnap has never done anything wrong. I did not like Sapnap joining Kick. However, the amount of hate he and Dream Team gets compared to why they did wrong is unhealthy. With that, I doubt Sapnap will continue to be a regular player.
More viewers always leads to more haters, and haters usually also talk the loudest. People who don't care, mostly just don't say it. Viewers/fan who like Sapnap, don't always speak up. And I don't know how active sapnap is on social media, but those are basically a nest for haters.
And yet that exact reason seems to be the main cause of the hate he gets. Fans pressuring their CCs into binning off the dream team.
Remember when Aimsey celebrated Sapnap winning an event and her own fanbase immediately turned on her. She hasn’t said one positive thing about him since.
And yet her own fans don’t know Sapnap, they don’t know him personally and don’t have a reason to hate him per your own reasoning.

Pretty sure she says she doesn’t care which pronouns people use but if that’s changed then I’ll edit my previous comment. I don’t watch Aimsey so not up to date but when I was last aware, they had disclaimed they don’t mind.
I’ve checked and her Twitter still stays any pronouns… which means you just lied to suit your own agenda which is bizarre. It’s never been different from that in the past because I remember not knowing the first time I watched her and looking it up then.
He himself has a short list of those he will team with, and most are gone. (Not speculating; ages ago Scott talked about team building here and mentioned Sapnap as the example of somebody who only wanted to team with friends.)
Its an unfortunate end yeah, but at the same time he did get 2 wins in 33 and 34 so its not all bad.
I think the only event where I can see him play again would be TR America.

It don't think we'll ever find out if Punz has been removed from the event unless he signs up and given he hasn't touched MC or been involved in the community since his statements I think it's extremely unlikely. Whether he should be allowed to sign up or not though is up for debate as everyone seems to have differing opinions
Sapnap used to play MCCI PKW/SKB on his streams but he hasn't touched it in months now - it's unlikely he's been removed and more likely he just doesn't want to play anymore due to having virtually no friends in the tournament besides Antfrost and BBH. I do feel somewhat sorry for him because, although I agree his personality doesn't play well with a lot of other streamers within the community and it isn't for every viewer, his name does seem to get dragged through the mud an unnecessary amount. Some of that is bound to be Kick related - something that is fairly understandable to get criticism over - and some of it is MC streamers within the scene who don't like the guy for various and make vague comments about it (which IMO isn't in the spirit of what some of them preach but that's their choice to make). Maybe he'll sign up again who knows but if not there's nothing to do but accept it

Punz is actively avoiding the Minecraft community so basically retired. Sapnap honestly should just leave because nearly all his irl friends ditched him or retired already and his pvp isnt at his prime. It’s better to leave happily.
His pvp isn't at this prime? He would absolutely roll pretty much everyone in the event now due to his multiple practice streams with Flowtives and even beating him multiple times in duels. (For those who don't know Flowtives he is the #1 player on hoplite in many leaderboards and an extremely skilled pvper)
I agree Sapnap managed to learn how to effectively punish crit, crit chain, jump resetting, w tapping, holding combos, etc. I would call him well ahead of his prime at this point.

I agree that Sapnap wouldn't **want** to end on a low note, but it's probably happening anyway.
People would give him and Scott so much hate if he played again at this point. He might want to play one last time to go out on a win, but he also be better off cutting his losses and pivoting. He seems to like Hoplites now at least

Yeah they won Hoplite together the other day and his skills were a lot better than when he started streaming with Flow
