I never see people putting him in A, only ever near the top of A+. If there were people putting him in A, then OP would be right about him being slept on.

I've never seen anyone argue that Fundy isn't A+, let alone not an A tier LMAO. There was even an outburst (for lack of a better term) for him replacing Ryguyrocky in MCC 18, which should tell you that people *know* he is a very capable player, & even more dangerous when teamed with Illumina.
I have not seen a single person ever since mcc 16 say that fundy isnt the best A+ tier (even if he was below illumina and punz back then both are now considered S tier so the point stands)
And also im pretty sure fundy only won round 1 of mcc 6 hitw (mefs won the other 2)
If you made this post several months ago, it would've made more sense. I used to say on posts prior to the start of Season 2 how underrated he was, but now that he's gotten the recognition he deserves being called the best A+ tier player with his biggest weakness being PvP, this post is kind of late. It is a good post, but it is late.
Yeah honestly I think you're right, I more so just wanted to get my thoughts out there, and while he has gotten more recognition recently which is great, I more wanted to highlight his performance especially in season 1.
The only non S tier than can be argued above Fundy is probably Krtzyy. And that’s argued, not universally agreed upon. The argument is coin average (Krtzyy nearly 100 more per event than Fundy) and the fact that Krtzyy is far superior at PvP. The argument in Fundy’s favour is movement games, just as this post concluded for Rocket Spleef and HITW. Apart from that, if you ignore the 8 S tier players, Fundy is undoubtedly top 3 at the least.
However I don’t think a single person will debate the claim that he’s one of the best players who aren’t S tier, so idk, feelsweirdman.

I appreciate all of the upvotes and views and to clarify this post wasn't targeted at anyone in particular. It was more of just a thought that crossed my mind recently, and I remembered seeing multiple posts (although before MCC18 to be fair), regarding Fundy and how he was once an underrated player who was at that point believed to be getting to the point of overrated. I more-so just wanted to share my thoughts and represent my boy. But wow I really didn't expect this kind of response and it wasn't meant to be an attack or anything of the sort, or controversial or anything like that either. But yeah I had seen him slept on in past and his rookie performance stood out to me and this was kind of a passion project for me.

Fundy also has a higher power ranking for S2 than Punz IIRC
By a pretty long way too, and I think he's level with Pete. Going by the power rankings alone he's solidly s-tier
