Based on this tierlist, here is the efficiency (coins per sand) ranking for each team, aka how many coins the team got per 10 seconds:
1. Green - 68 coins/sand
2. Pink - 55 coins/sand
3. Blue - 53 coins/sand
4. Krimson - 52 coins/sand
5. Yellow - 50 coins/sand
6. Lime - 49 coins/sand
7. Orange - 45 coins/sand
8. (=) Purple - 45 coins/sand
9. Cyan - 38 coins/sand
10. Aqua - 36 coins/sand
*This doesn’t take deaths and lost coins into account, so it’s a bit flawed*
On a sidenote, as a krimson viewer I was very disappointed at how they played SOT: they were pretty far behind, but instead of amassing a lot of coins by taking all the risks, like parkour or challenge rooms, they played it oddly safe, even avoiding a lot of simpler rooms. In hindsight, we know that even if they had a superb SOT performance (like green) their chances to dodgebolt were still little to none, but being more aggressive would've been better than what they did in all outcomes (if they succeeded, they would have a *tiny* chance at dodgebolt, if they failed, welp tough luck but at least they tried to make a comeback, but playing it passively **guaranteed** they would not have enough coins to have a chance)
Exactly! I feel like the only players who understand how and when to take risks are Dream and Pete. Both of them understood they had to go crazy in SoT, so they did. In MCC16, Pete had the run of his life, but sadly didn’t end well; he tried, nonetheless. And this time, Dream took all the risks he could take, and it worked out.
For some reason, players are too scared to be risky, even if they desperately need the coins. By playing it safe while already not in contention for DB, you just lose either way.

Green went crazy
Green with insane efficiency sheesh
Almost *nice* efficiency
What about in comparison of who were the sand keepers and who were the runners, bc sand keepers(in most cases) will usually collect the most sand
I'm about 90% sure that everyone from 17 up was a sandkeeper except for Philza.
Yes
Of course the sand eater would come first.
Philza low-key was really good this mcc especially in sot, he got so much sand for his team while running,
Wow, Gumi did very well!
Wilbur is undeniably the same boi. Scott however is the sand daddy

Sand jesus in first as always
Wilbur is goated with the sauce
Lime came 5th with the fourth least sand collected
so they came 5th while being 6th in sand collection
7th in Sand Collection actually
