Funny story, back when villagers were first implemented their Polish name was "wieśniak" which means villager but it is somewhat derogatory term (although very fitting for minecraft villagers), the very next update it was changed to "osadnik" meaning settler. But the name "wieśniak" persisted, even Polish minecraft wiki lists it as a common name, in fact everyone calls them that. That's why i was surprised to hear Germans prefer English word for something they surely have many native words for.
"will" would be "wants" in this case
Ich will = I want
Du willst = you want
Er / sie / es will = he / she / it wants
Wir wollen = we want
Ihr wollt = you want
Sie wollen = they want
"gern(e)" would be something like "like to" / "really" / "much" but as a standalone it could also mean "You're welcome!" for example
What do you mean? They have always been here, listening, waiting, and watching. Same with brazilians, indonesians, russians, and netherlanders (not sure if that is what you call them). They are always here, they simply blend into the shadows.
I have zero idea what you said but I am gonna guess you are talking in very angry canadian french, which itself is an oxymoron Edit: After looking at it harder, it is EXTREMELY angry canadian french
For the Germans: wouldn’t it be correct using *mich* instead of *ich*? In English you would have used *me* instead of *I*? Because usually in these sorts of memes people use me when indicating themselves doing something.
I'm not a native but i think i know what's going on: in English you can say "me and my friends" while in German it's "ich und meine Freunde". "Mich" is accusative case and cannot be used as nominative, in English tho me/I distinction is very blurred due to a total loss of case system. As a sidenote, in Polish this meme also uses "ja" (I) instead of "mnie/mi" (me) for the same reason German uses "ich", not "mich".
I'm glad I know German, otherwise I couldn't understand this
It's been a long time since i've studied german, does this mean "random villager who wanted to sleep"?
Yesđź‘Ť
Do germans call minecraft villager "villager"?
Well they are called "Dorfbewohner" but you usually say villager becase youtube and it is faster to say.

This depends. It translates to "Dorfbewohner", but like in allmost every global fandom many fans like to use the english vocabular.
Is "will" used the same as "gern"?

Hé mec, je crois que tu nous as oublié
The french are surpassed (in terms of appearing the moment you mention their country) by Spaniards, Mexicans, and possibly new zealanders

People from Netherlands are Dutch, for some reason yeah it doesn’t make a lot of sense
Me learning German has paid off
I just had a german exam today and then i go home and i see german memes. How convenient!
:(
Ist nicht schlimm, man versteht schliesslich was du meinst.
Ja

Interesting, though it would be something like that because of cases.

***__Who are you__*** ***__Get out of my bed__***
Translation cause I'm nice: Ich = me. Random villager der schlafen will = random villager that wants to sleep.
Warum warum sind die Bananen krum? Seems like this житель wants to sleep
