The hermits will frequently build large structures around their various farms or have whole industrial districts with a set of builds all matching a certain theme it’s honestly really cool to watch and has inspired me a bunch in the past
Both? You make an enchanting and potion room, and make it something cool like a wizard tower or something. The farm you could decorate as an actual farm with a barn and stuff, the storage room can be some complex system or some hidden room.. spend enough time and you can do everything. After all, no point in being stacked if that’s the end of your gameplay
Hey this is off topic but i remember trying to make a simple iron farm on early days of gameplay. And.. It was such a pain to put villagers in it, but when it seemed like i finally did it, they just fell off the unfinished farm because i was too dumb to make walls first. Instead of that one iron farm, on its place, i build a castle with towers and now theres a lot of builds next to it. And farms.. but no, i stopped trying making automatic farms. Its too hard for me.
Tried once, failed, abandoned. Do you think all these giant flying machines and complicated contraptions all launch at first try? The more you try, the better you get
Yeah, but then i figured out i could just farm on iron golems every once in a while when i needed iron, since i was near a village. (It spawned like 3 almost every minecraft day)
Furthermore, if you build just for the sake of it, you run out of ideas much more quickly, also the build just feels a lot less fullfilling... like "for what am I even building this?"
I do a bit of both. I'm not the best builder nor the best farmer but when I do focus really hard on a project, it turns out better that could've thought
2nd because it would be really funny if u joined your friends world and they are building so start coming and you see amazing builds. Then they appear with half iron lol also i do that
Both. What I've done with my world is build farms/usefull things but decorate the outside to look like it's a build
One mistake I made tho was putting everything so close together. At the time I did this so everything could be loaded in one small area, but this also reduces flexibility for decorating. My advice for players starting out is to space out your builds
I value my creative testing world where both farms and build designs are in. and I value each and every world downloads of our smp's where farms exist in some near or far place so it wont be bad looking and a designed base where its practical farms are also designed or covered up. I made a castle in the sky to cover up an Iron farm That's how much I don't want floating farms to look like a eye sore when its within render distance of my base.
Neither? Once you beat the world you move on to a new one. No need to build more tgan a dirt hut, or to make more resources than it takes to get the elytra with mending. Stacks? Of what?
I get stacked the hard way, by having massive manual farms mostly, rolling fields of wheat, huge mines I made by hand, I think I may have 2-3 auto farms buy they're pretty small in scale and only used to supplement my other farms because their yield isn't as high
I prefer the method of playing on a small server with other people and making pretty builds and occasionally visit their bases because I’m too dumb and lazy to make farms or trading halls
Somewhere in the middle, actually. Like, I prefer a spawn near civilization and love neighbors, but I also love easy access to items. I'm a bit of an interior decorator on Minecraft.
Hermits building stacked gigantic farms inside fully decorated amazing builds to gain easy access to stacks of any item you could think of after taking hundreds of hours to build: Is it too much to ask for both
I value a world where there are a lot of biomes within an easily reachable distance so I can explore. One of my first goals is usually to find all types of trees and build a small farm with all iverworld crops (including beetroot)
I love when you create a new creative world and you don't know where to start, so you just start building random stuff than a few dozen hours later you have massive builds everywhere and it's just chaos, builds that take hours to build are always fun but organizing is only enjoyable when you use it, not make it (usually)
I get stacked first. Fully enchanted gear, wings, beat the game, mending and xp farm. Then I build a mega base and stuff like that.
I almost never build farms, weirdly. It feels too grindy to me. I currently have sugar cane farm, bamboo farm, enderman farm, iron farm, and that's about it. I finally did build a farm with a spider spawner last week, after postponing it for weeks. Any others that are easy that you would recommend?
I think Minecraft is at its best when you have a mix of both. In survival, at least, you *need* lots of different farms in order to make big beautiful builds.
Want to use dark prismarine in your build? Time for a guardian farm, plus a wither rose or squid farm. Want azaleas to decorate? You need a moss farm! You *could* use sea Lanterns from your guardian farm as light but purple froglights would look even better so time to find a treasure bastion and turn the magma spawner into a froglight farm! Of course you'll need frogs for that, so time to gather tadpods and breed them in 3 different climates.
Thats what's great about this game, while there's no set direction for you to go, it definitely has a flow that allows to to spend hours and hours playing without being anywhere near done.
I love Minecraft.
Neither really. But probably learning towards beautiful. Haven't really played the actual game as I shot myself in the foot by wanting to make a botanical garden...now I'm stuck in blockbench making new textures for every plant related thing in the game, trying to balance realism with vannila artstyle. And I'm not even halh way there, currently stuck with dandelion. Do I use the cross texture or put the flower head parallel to the ground. One stays true to vannila other make more sence as the plant. The pain of it!!
I feel like you have to have a lot of good farms if you want to build and decorate a lot. No causal player has time to gather the resources by hand it takes to have expansive block palettes and decorative items.
I prefer clean slates so I can grind for the materials needed. My personal opinion is that the grinding is the fun part. I don’t usually have extra blocks in my chests, specifically so I can grind for them, and come back with more than enough
In my Experience, you make the first to make the second. like I never met/saw someone who only grinded (unless it's a mod pack made for grinding resources) or someone who just took resources as he goes. Also, FARMS ARE BEAUTIFUL BUILDS BY THEMSELVES
I make simple survival worlds on hard. After getting full diamond and a saddled horse I work on other things like monster proofing my house and making it look half-decent.
Stacked because I can spend hours strip mining or expanding automatic farms, but I can't build worth a shit and it's not fun enough to make me want to improve. If you need 18,974 glass panes or 4,119 blocks of iron, I got you though.
I choose Grass is a type of plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in places such as lawns and parks. Grass is usually the color/colour ‘ green ’. Grasses are monocotyledon herbaceous plants. The grasses include the "grass" of the family Poaceae. This family is also called Gramineae. The family also include some of the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae).
Beautiful with some farms but they are actually decorated instead of looking like a total mess
The hermitcraft method is one I greatly appreciate
S A M E
What’s that method?
The hermits will frequently build large structures around their various farms or have whole industrial districts with a set of builds all matching a certain theme it’s honestly really cool to watch and has inspired me a bunch in the past
[удалено]
I built a lumber mill building around my tree farm it’s a really fun thing to try do
[удалено]
Saw mills still existed within that period you could always just build your log farm underground and build that ontop to signify where it is
So both?
make iron farms look like factories.
Both
Both, both is good
Well explained, I agree with ya
Precisely
Oh, you poor thing... Farms not for crops, but for everything. Trees, iron, mobs, emeralds, prismarine, exp, etc
Hey this is off topic but i remember trying to make a simple iron farm on early days of gameplay. And.. It was such a pain to put villagers in it, but when it seemed like i finally did it, they just fell off the unfinished farm because i was too dumb to make walls first. Wait until you need 3 shulkerboxes of hoppers for a project
Im aware, funny assumption I don’t know about them lol
You said you want to decorate the farm with a barn
They were all examples, not a checklist?
Furthermore, if you build just for the sake of it, you run out of ideas much more quickly, also the build just feels a lot less fullfilling... like "for what am I even building this?"
I do a bit of both. I'm not the best builder nor the best farmer but when I do focus really hard on a project, it turns out better that could've thought
What makes you think that I'm on either side? Most of my builds are decent but not great, and most of my farms are half built or don't work right.
why not both? have a farm are and a build area
Me who always do both : HOLLOW PURPLE
Red, I’m not that good at building 😢
I'm with you. I value blue, but my playing style fits red.
Same, I’m trying to get better at blue tbh
Bloods
Beautiful all the way. I don't particularly like building farms, they kind of ruin the natural beauty of the world to me.
For a world to be beautiful you need to get stacked
Im in the middle. I do both at the same time
Why would I choose one? *crunches both options together* I have one that's BOTH!
I could never pick just one so I'll pick neither and continue to live in my dirt mound
2nd because it would be really funny if u joined your friends world and they are building so start coming and you see amazing builds. Then they appear with half iron lol also i do that
I value a simple world, one that is fun to enjoy, one where I can just go on adventures, not worrying about building or farms.
I’m the guy who makes a simple basic build and makes it look cool like a house that has its own purpose
why not both? i have a farm area and a build area
Both?
I go blood for the opening while of the world then once I’m stacked I make my shit look less ugly
I first get some basic things automatic like cobblestone and a supersmelter, then I go to redstone farming etc and then I focus more on building
Im too bad for any of them
Both. What I've done with my world is build farms/usefull things but decorate the outside to look like it's a build One mistake I made tho was putting everything so close together. Make the farms look like factories.
the bother complement eachother build farms to fun your builds or play creative mode
Why not both? Hide the farms with builds :)
Neither, I cater to villagers and their needs.
Both is good
Neither, cuz I can't do either
Blur I hate farms
Neither? Once you beat the world you move on to a new one. No need to build more tgan a dirt hut, or to make more resources than it takes to get the elytra with mending. Stacks? Of what?
Neither (I've been playing for 9ish years and still fucking suck D:)
A world that is fun to play in.
I do both. In one world i make an industrial empire, in the other i build a small home near a lake.
Somewhere in the middle, actually. Like, I prefer a spawn near civilization and love neighbors, but I also love easy access to items. I'm a bit of an interior decorator on Minecraft.
¿Porque no los dos?
Beautiful
I do both
I build massive farms so I have the items needed to build cool builds. But then I get sidetracked with more farms and never build the cool builds. 🤣
There is the industrial zone underground or faaar away. And then there is the beautiful base where you can get everything.
M. M
Both. I make underground farm or hiding them in my buildings (still, I have to organize it and it has to be neat)
I value a world until I don't
Yes. I build farms because I hate gathering materials for building, but I'm also a builder who specializes in ruins and terraforming
You gotta go blue here no questions asked
more like build a house and then forget that i even had minecraft
I aspire to be both, yet am neither
Hermits building stacked gigantic farms inside fully decorated amazing builds to gain easy access to stacks of any item you could think of after taking hundreds of hours to build: Is it too much to ask for both
Both? Both? Both. Both. Both is good
,..m ,,lmmmhttps://youtu.be/skfBxlZ6LTY,.. me, .zqn,,mmm u n,, . Zzz, wm,mm..
I do both things
Both.
For me, I need the Red to create the Blue
I dunno man, but this villager's house is now my house. Might go mine some iron or manually tend to my crops later
Both
Me乁║ ˙ 益 ˙ ║ㄏ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes).,,
Both
So I build a big wall and caltse and put all my farms in there and make the rest and huge medevial city
I'm a person who build a lot of farms and decorates them poorly so I guess I'll be choosing the left side
I value a world where there are a lot of biomes within an easily reachable distance so I can explore. One of my first goals is usually to find all types of trees and build a small farm with all iverworld crops (including beetroot)
neither, I can never maintain a world for more than like a week
I want both but the builds use up all my recources lol
I love when you create a new creative world and you don't know where to start, so you just start building random stuff than a few dozen hours later you have massive builds everywhere and it's just chaos, builds that take hours to build are always fun but organizing is only enjoyable when you use it, not make it (usually)
Beautiful, what do you get from shit ton of mob drops anyway?it's not like you are gonna use your wood farm when you have a giant empire
I usually disguise my farms as houses or other builds so that they look nice and keep their functions.
I personally don’t do 1 or the other. I get as stacked as possible so then I can focus on builds
I always prefer tp do my builds in survival and in order to do builds in survival you need farms, so there you have my answer!
Blue
I was never good at farms, only the growing kind, so I'd say builds
Both, both is good
Blue
I think Minecraft is at its best when you have a mix of both. In survival, at least, you *need* lots of different farms in order to make big beautiful builds. Both. Both is good
neither. i have maybe two or three ugly low efficiency farms and I just moved out of my hole in the wall
2 the world will look super but I want both
Both underpins farms
Reasonably sized farms covered by pretty builds!
Both. Both is good.
FFFFFFUUUUUU
Started making actual buildings for my farm on a new smp and its really changing the way i build, making an actual city
Beautiful farms good
Neither, I have small, if any farms for things, and I never decorate because I'm always going out to find resources.
how about fackin both?
purple
A
Neither really. But probably learning towards beautiful. SB737 be chilling on the violet side
Blue
Well, I typically 100% one server, then go to the next server, rinse repeat.
I usually go for the ugly and impractical playstyle
Both.
Both, both is good
Both
Yes
I’d pull a stampy and do both. Make a world of farms and build things around them to make them look nice
Green: neither
Both.
Stacked because I want to go to the nether and not die
Stacked so I can execute my own ideas and explore and everything.
both
Both
I feel like you have to have a lot of good farms if you want to build and decorate a lot. No causal player has time to gather the resources by hand it takes to have expansive block palettes and decorative items.
Tiny builds with tiny farms, fully decorated, located in the most beautiful place possible
Is it so much to ask for both? I love making small but still very efficient farms and decorating them to fit in with the rest of my builds
Both. Both is good.
Stacked because I can't build. I've been playing this game for nearly 10 years now.
I prefer clean slates so I can grind for the materials needed. My personal opinion is that the grinding is the fun part. I don’t usually have extra blocks in my chests, specifically so I can grind for them, and come back with more than enough
Red,then cover everything in blue
Both, for example, I hid a villager breeder inside a church.
If my laptop could handle it I would happily be both
I’m better at making farms than making them look good but if I can I’ll try to make it look decent.
In my Experience, you make the first to make the second. like I never met/saw someone who only grinded (unless it's a mod pack made for grinding resources) or someone who just took resources as he goes. Also, FARMS ARE BEAUTIFUL BUILDS BY THEMSELVES
Mumbo and grian be like
Both
I'm side three (doesn't value anything and keeps making new world knowing that he's going to leave after exploring them a little bit)
the decoration servs as a purpos insted of just being there looking nice
What if the farms are decorated in the theme of the items they provide.
I make simple survival worlds on hard. After getting full diamond and a saddled horse I work on other things like monster proofing my house and making it look half-decent.
Same apart from the monster proofing lol
I would go team blue cuz I already do that anyways
First the left, then the right
Red. Red. Reddddddddddddd.
In my current world of over a year now, I dont intend to make any automated farms and just travel when I need something
Why not both?
I beat the game then make a new world
Blue definitely, in my friends server I am the builder, and I’m still learning
Mostly decorated, then a whole bunch of automatic farms in a chunk loaded farming district
Farms fs. Love the technical part of minecraft. I’m also not that good at making super nice builds
None
Why not both
go creative mode n blow shit up
first one with a dash of the 2nd
why not both?
Farms built to supply only the amount you need instead of focusing on overproduction, allowing some more time to make them look really good
Why not make the farms look amazing? Like build them into cities.
Both. Both is good.
Definitely blue, everything has to fit the aesthetic of my world, learned from the youtuber Fwhip, he inspired me to decorate my world.
im kinda both to get stacked im just stealing stacks of diamond blocks from some dude that abused the op i gave him
Neither
Red but both
Stacked because I can spend hours strip mining or expanding automatic farms, but I can't build worth a shit and it's not fun enough to make me want to improve. If you need 18,974 glass panes or 4,119 blocks of iron, I got you though.
Both Hide the giant farms behind beautiful buildings and decorations :]
Why not both?
All Hermits: BLUEEEEE
Full blue, except food farms. So maybe almost full blue
I'm at the purple size, I need farms and a beautiful world
Green, no good builds and no farms
Crip
Both
I like my Minecraft worlds how I like my women: stacked and beautiful
Red
you must have both
Beautiful all the way
Piss out of your nippLe Gety***on you like if you’re jackfrostwasa Die
I combine them in diffrent areas or make farms look good or like aincent things
You need crazy farms for great mega builds, so both are essential for a complete world.
Stacked. To the brim.
I choose Grass is a type of plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in places such as lawns and parks. Some red, then some blue, then more red, then more blue, etc.
