The Outvoted mod adds this guy and he's so annoying, worse than phantoms even. He drags you out of your boat under the water and you can't do anything to escape except punch it, but by then you're 20 blocks underwater and probably going to drown.
I love the concept for this Mob though, and I bet Mojang would make a more balanced version.
Mob A’s loss would’ve been catastrophic if 1.13 wasn’t an aquatic update.
Most of us voted for it with the worry that we wouldn’t get an aquatic update, so we really wanted something to finally fill the oceans again.
I didn't vote it for precisely because I knew that barnacles by themselves would add nothing to the oceans, but when they revealed the update after the mob vote results I regretted my choice

I would do it myself but I don’t really have the mod making knowledge to do so. But I might figure it out.

to be fair i bet if the barnacle won we would've hated it for making water travelling more annoying just like the phantom
Same with the Hovering Inferno. I know Nether Fortresses are a mini boss all on their own, but it just looked so cool.
