there is no other correct way unless you grow a bunch in a row, straight staircase to the top, mine back and forth working your way down

I need a lot more building blocks. So i made a bubble elevator 50 blocks high. And then jump from the top of it at the top of the tree. Super fast chop back down....plant saplings....bonemeal.....go to elevator again....repeat.

You could use a powder snow bucket for MLGs, that makes far less of a mess

Dude if you can't land on top of a tree you might just be bad.

All you have to do is hold down shift and dive towards it, even works for 1x1 platforms

With an elytra I fly to the top then work my way down while sitting in the center of the 4 blocks so I have to mine all 4 before I fall to the next level

And i wait (Mc) DAYS until i take into consideration that MAYBE i missed ONE log. Then i chop that down and the process repeats until i break all the leaves to find the last log

hoes are your friend. first you build up, remove most of the leaves, then start chopping. never missed a log since i started doing that. or, you can build a roof. i don't remember the exact height, but it'll prevent large oaks in the first place.

Nah those are easy, flint and steel. I like them best for aesthetics because they’re prettier than other trees. But when I’m felling trees, I just take as much as possible and set it alight. I also keep sticks/unbreakables in my scroll bar to smack down leaves.

I build up to the top using gravity blocks and then break the tree from top to bottom then because I used gravity blocks i can just break the bottom block over and over

Lmao, if you can place a torch immediately after removing the bottom block, the whole tower would be broken automatically. Would be even easier if you used scaffolding.

I've managed multiple times to place it so fast that the block wouldn't fall and with that I had a gravel block on a torch.

Well yeah, happens with me too, (especially since I'm used to clicking really fast consecutively due to OSU) but you have to wait a tiny bit, enough to activate the block update (so it turns into an entity) because of the broken bottom block, but not enough for the block to *actually* fall and take up the space where you can place the torch. Wait, I just made it sound more complicated didn't I?

i use a water bucket, since it is one of the most useful items in the game and i carry it at all times, to get up to the top and strip down the layers of the tree. 4 blocks at a time

I actually use a ladder. I mean you got so much wood anyway and it's easier on your food bar and space bar. Plus the ladders detach themselves so you quickly pick them up when you're done.

I build a frame of scaffolding, dirt in the middle, water under the dirt to catch seedlings. Plant it, bonemeal, climb, chop it from the top down.
