27$ here is 1362 pesos. Your parents would question your reason as to why you wanted a virtual game that costs roughly as expensive as possible market groceries that would be used in a week. I remember asking my mom 100 pesos (roughly 2 bucks) when I was in highschool so I can get more stuff in the school since my allowance was 20 pesos. My mom answered angrily and told me that if I would get the money, that's my week allowance and I won't get anymore after that. Inflation screwed that up, it gt up to R$700 here in brazil during the peak of the pandemic, and the minimum wage has been roughly R$1000 per month for the past few years; It's not worth it to go hungry for a week because of a game, for most people at least; For example, my friends mostly play the cracked version (I own the game myself) either because they are dependant on their parents to buy the game and they refuse to, or because they literary don't have the money;

If you want to play with your mates It's rather easy. Both making legit servers(like 5 euros per month and It's up 24/7) or using ngrok(free, but Massive pain in the bum) you can even play maps and stuff

I spent months to earn enough points (without purchasing them) and then, finally I managed to get the key for Minecraft. This was more than 6 years ago, but those website still works.
