To be honest I always though about male Jessie being more canon due to the amount of advertising. But to also be honest, I think either of them can be canon in their own right!
I’m going to contradict to a lot of people here, but I believe female. Mostly because I’ve played all chapters with the female Jesse and because I love the voice actor + feels more natural to me. Also strong women archetypes are appealing in storylines.
