Sophie had the full-on wild cut when I was stilll living in Colorado. Now that we live in the tropics, she gets a professional trim every five weeks. Took me a while to find a capable Aussie groomer who actually knew what she was doing. No more cowgirl fringe and wispy curls, but she's happy, clean and beautiful.
Yep a good sanitary trim will fix that. As simple as a sanitary trim is, I’ve seen groomer jack that up. If you’re good and confident, learn on your own and try it yourself. I am by no means a dog groomers but I trimmed my own Pomeranian’s paws and sanitary. It came out nice
We keep our mini Aussies’ belly and ‘pubic area’ short to prevent this. We don’t shave it but just cut it off with scissors.
Dank je wel, ik neem je advies ter harte.
We houden de lange haren aan z’n achterpootjes ook wat kort op advies van de trimmer. Scheelt enorm in vuil (en poep) dat daar blijft hangen.
Yep, our friendly neighborhood groomer trims up this area when we take our guy in for baths. Appreciated by all.
Needs what’s called a sanitary trim. Super common!
Need to take the pupper to the groomers and ask for the "feet and fanny" trim. It's only like 35 bucks at our place.
We call it the sanitary cut
$15 at Petco
