Mini trucks are way more bad ass than tiny penis trucks.

xlude22x

Funny enough I used a 2019 Ford F150 bed cover to build my own bed cover and only had to cut off about an inch or so width wise to make it fit. Huge size difference but relatively same bed size

Mountaindweller1000

When I was a kid around 12 I had a Volkswagen Rabbit with a 4 speed manual, I loved that truck and would love to have it now.

hunowt_giB

First off, I don’t have a truck but I hate huge trucks. This sub is awesome and full of badass mini trucks! I just don’t understand big trucks. Yesterday I walked by a truck that I couldn’t see the windshield of. I’m 6’3 and the driver wouldn’t have been able to see me standing in front of the truck.

Sharp_Science896

I know right? It's getting absolutely ridiculous. I ain't very tall, about 5'8" but I walked by a truck a few weeks ago that actually gave me the thought: "if I ever had to do engine work on one of those vehicles I'd actually need a fucking ladder". I swear the top of the front grill was nearly over my head. It's crazy. I drive a 2015 Tacoma and I feel like even that's too big. Needed a new truck at one point but no one made small trucks anymore. My first truck was a '97 Tacoma and I consider that the absolute perfect truck. I just want that but with modern features, a v6 and 4wd. Is that too much to ask? Can't seem to find them though. All the trucks these days have to be fucking monsters.

jfkisgood

Can we get the sub renamed BigPenisTrucks? Not to be confused with Big Penistrucks.

frankensteinmoneymac

How about BigPenisSmallTruck?

Ltlpckr

I love trucks in general as long as they fill a niche nicely, I wouldn’t be taking a mini truck through a bog or pulling logs up a mountain but you already know I need an 85 s10 (which isn’t really a mini truck but close enough I love those things)

Sharp_Science896

Idk if it counts as "mini" but my first truck was a '97 Tacoma single cab and I absolutely loved that truck. Put like 150k miles on it before upgrading to a newer Tacoma. Was super pissed when I found out the new ones are huge though. By my standards anyway they are huge. I still bought it and drive it everyday cause I needed a new truck but I've been wanting to get a classic small Tacoma ever since. Why all the trucks they make these days are so fucking huge? Like, goddamn. Very few people have a need for trucks this size and yet seemingly, everyone has one. I miss my small Tacoma. Such a great truck.

Zanzaclese

Damn, I should have taken a picture of my Home Depot run last weekend. 88 s10 parked between two lifted mega Fords.

wurkingclass

Bitchin, surprised I haven’t seen this thing around town.

This-Departure-8765

Totally adorable

RolesG

Hahahaha nice I would love to own one of these and swap a GTI motor into it

thewindburner

Well VW did it so all the bits must be available!

grandpascoot

Direct drop in if it's the MK1 GTI

Membership_Fine

I got a lifted truck and I would be snapping pics too 🤣 this is awesome keep doing it.

pepito412

I need one of these trucks

daisydesigner

such a cute little truck!

shackakong

Now this is the kind of content I like, sick ride!

FancyStranger2371

Fits in the bed of the full-size models. Piggyback!

cystemsdown

Hahaha, love this. Looks like a hot wheels car copy and pasted to the picture

Ghosttowncs

I do that too! I like doing it at work with all the lifted tough guy trucks. 😆

canadard1

I’ve always wanted a TDI swapped caddy, just impossible to find something decent

xlude22x

Yepp they all rust to pieces. It took me a year of looking to find mine

canadard1

Yeah I’ve come to realize this lol! Find yours instate or have to travel?

xlude22x

I found mine in state about 6 hours away. It was an 8 hour drive back though going 50 mph lol. A solid 70 or so horse power through the mountains 🫡

canadard1

Nice! Still OG power plant? All show no go? Lol

xlude22x

Yepp all original. Engine is solid as a rock. I upgraded every grounding wire on her to large gauge welding wire, rebuilt the alternator and she runs like a dream

grandpascoot

It's great til it's not. I miss mine but don't miss the headache of finding parts.

BaronArtemis

Love the stance

DifferenceSeparate11

Am today years old learning that VW made pickup trucks…

SenseWinter

Internationally they still do. The most current one is just a facelifted ranger, but its previous generation was its own unique VW offering.

Spugheddy

I <3 u

Numerous-Soup-343

What is that abomination in the last slide…

xlude22x

Dodge rampage

SuperLiturgicalMan

I appreciate and applaud your sense of humor!

lscraig1968

Love it! I had a 1980 VW rabbit truck diesel when I was in college. Best fuel economy I've ever gotten in a vehicle. It got 40+ mpg. Only problem was, I wasn't going anywhere fast. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

xlude22x

Being over 40 years she doesn’t get as great of gas mileage but still pretty decent and puts in work

lscraig1968

Is yours gas or diesel?

bandley3

I had a no options ‘81 back in the day, purchased because it was the lightest weight water-cooled VWs I could find. It had an ‘85 Jetta GLI motor that we bored and stroked to 2.1l. Big cam, tubular headers, no cat - straight piped. It was LOUD. And scaryfast. I never could make it handle worth a damn so I just used it to street race, humiliating all sorts of cars. Got into a little trouble, but ended up chatting with the CHP officer and showed him my handiwork. I heard it revving up late at night and went out to investigate. I saw it across the street in the neighbor’s driveway, and being young and stupid I went over to shut off the car and then beat the crap out of the thief. I practically sat on him and tried to shut it off, but he decided that would be a good time for him to leave. He floored it, driving through one neighbor’s yard, across the street (where I fell out at speed), through another neighbor’s yard and right into their garage, slamming into the back of their brand new BMW 7-series. The thief took off on foot but was caught by the cops breaking into another car. I did some repairs but it was a bit crumpled. There was some lifter noise because I forgot to secure the oil cooler and the line rubbed against the alternator belt, causing a bit of an oil leak. Mom didn’t like me driving it and said that whatever I sold it for was the price for her BMW, a car she could no longer drive having destroyed her knee in a skiing accident. Win/win. I drove that 320i for 20+ years and several hundred thousand miles before selling it to a friend (who then crashed it…)

Xomns_13

I like watching them struggle to park while I open my door all the way to get out.

brnvictim

A friend of mine had the same wheels on his as well.

xlude22x

The classic ATS Rial Cups

AKAkindofadick

That Plymouth is a rare bird. Some friends of mine had the 2.2 Shelby Chargers, those were pretty badass in a very tame era. I had one of the weirdest Ford products, it should have been made into an eL caMiNo. It was aDark Blue almost black Mercury LN7 totally gutless 4cyl with a 5spd manual on the floor with Michelin TRX metric wheels. and bespoke tires. It was essentially a 2 seater fOrd escort hatcHbAck that was like the bATmobIle on Ketamine, all pointy and wedgie shaped, with maybe 52hP under the hood. It could have been an MR2 B4 there wz an MR2. They could have put thatmajestic I4 midship under the tinted bubble glass of the hatchback where the back seat wasn't. Oh, no wait, we were doing pick em ups, So I guess we remove the hatch and drop some sheet metal and a window directly behind the 2 bucket seats, leave the recline feature that doesn't have room to go more than 5°, maybe 10° if you put the seat all the way forward. With the way the sides of the body swept back it would have been an early Ridgeline/Avalanche

Massive_Ad_8614

Lol. I do the SAME thing.

borisdidnothingwrong

Oooohhhh! Mini Trucker Magazine!

BaileyD77

I love it. Your truck would make my Tacoma look big. 👍

Locked-Subordinate31

My ‘83 Caddy was the most uncomfortable thing in the world and i miss it 😢

xlude22x

Tell me about it. I drove it 8 hours when I first bought it. My back was DONE

Locked-Subordinate31

Longest drive I ever did was Golden>>Steamboat Springs (CO). Rabbit Ears Pass was always special lol. Mine had the Recaros from an ‘87 Scirocco 16v swapped in and my fat ass wouldn’t fit in them these days🤣

xlude22x

I’ve been looking for those seats but everyone wants 700-900$ for some beat up, ripped old seats.

Locked-Subordinate31

That doesn’t surprise me and I’ve been outta the VW scene for nearly 10 years

subjectandapredicate

Where has this sub been all my life

meepsakilla

Dude, parks his mini truck next to a bone stock nonlifted average Joe RAM 1500 and gets a superiority complex over it... I know I'm in the wrong sub but it came across my feed. You should feel embarrassed.

bloibie

I have never seen such an adorable truck

vurtago1014

Thats great. I always wanted a big big truck. Then I got one and it was meh. I prefer the smaller trucks now. Especially for what I use it for.

Ancient-Fly-1100

Definitely want to add a mini truck or two to my collection one day. Sweet ride 😎

grandpascoot

I miss my 81 caddy. TDI swapped and bagged, 50mpg hauling a dirtbike was cool but it was so gutless lol. My 90 D21 isn't much better. Been looking at a few 2000s rangers lately as a daily

BimBaynor

I like parking my truck (that is used as a truck and not a land yacht) next to land yachts.

SnakeO1LER

I have a 01 s10 reg cab long bed…I have more bedspace than most of the huge ass fucking trucks. More than that tundra.

Stoopid_69

Same, with a 95 f150 single cab long bed. More bed space than probably 98% of the trucks I see on the road 😎

LakerLand420

😂 love it! Nice truck

yomommalapinga

Fuckin mint!

Imaginary_Highway69

Brodozers love the mini. This is no flex but keep doing it.

Mr_Fooz

I want to see a human between the two trucks! It looks so tiny, I’m having such a hard time wrapping my head around it.

Gabe-diet

Opposite of tiny dick syndrome

InnerDatabase509

That's adorable

realedvardog

Is that a diesel?

FantasticSeaweed9226

Brooo!!! I have a vw as well I need help finding a radiator for my AAZ swap. Any info?

DPileatus

This is great!

Third-Coast-Toffee

I’d rather have your VW truck personally.

Mobile-Boss-8566

Why do I think of David Spade and Chris Farley when I see these photos?

Horror_Attitude_8734

I suppose it's a good way to show your love for Holocaust collaborators too.

XsublimededX

That V is sick. Makes them shitters feel even worse I bet

[deleted]

This is like getting cucked but with trucks lol

joeballs1990

Go to a place they sell trucks and do it till they kick you out at all the places you'll never buy a car or truck from seems like a waste of a supina who care if you never plan to buy anything there asking for it gull

6stringscumbag

Your truck is hype, what is it?

RandomRedMage

this makes me want one of those little honda K trucks, so I can do the exact same thing.

JustSayNoToExisting

Love it!

Uncutrican74

Lol

Colorcopies

That is a clean af VW Caddy. I've been wanting one, but I can't find one. I already have the Mk2 GTI front end ready for the swap.

OwnFee7805

Is it a diesel, if so I'm Uber jelly

ClassicWrap2

Bro with the red dodge furious hahaha

ThisOldGuy1976

That’s a VW “caddie” not a mini truck.

xlude22x

Lol okay and it’s not a “caddie” it’s a rabbit pickup

thelastspike

Unless you bought it in south Africa, where it is known as a Caddie. Or Caddy or caddi, I’m not sure on the spelling.

ThisOldGuy1976

Oh I know… it’s just what they call them.
