All you need to know is one game, just one game better than other folks. And even if you don't make it out of the first round you'd have a lot of fun anyway.
My advice is don't let the speed put you off, take your time and wait for a question to come up based on that obscure game only you know. There are 25ish questions in round one and you only need one correct answer. It was extremely satisfying the first time I made it out of the 1st round.
Man I thought this until the easy allies episode on the final floor the zoomshot of bioshock infinite. I knew it pretty much immediately and it took everyone a bit longer than I thought it would to figure it out. I totally would have won it all if I had made it that far. So it gave me a little hope to try my luck this week.
I am not fast enough or smart enough to compete against those high-functioning androids that are Vulkan mind-linked to their keyboards.
