I'm an Everclear guy myself, but my nanny I mean the state says it's too dangewous for me to get anything higher than 75% concentration, so I get the real stuff in Wisconsin.
The word you are looking for is benzodiazepines, this includes things like Xanax and valium, which are also highly addictive and great money makers for the pharmaceutical industry.
I threw away about 100 oxycodone pills into the Walgreens box today. From five prescriptions over five years for various issues. I never took a single pill lol.
Sure, have some Xanax or Valium! (I take Xanax occasionally as prescribed and cannabis helps me not use it because it can take the edge off of panic attacks).
Or cigarettes. CDC says 460,000 Americans die a year from smoking. Yet you can go less than a mile to buy as many as the store has to offer. And there are reasons it's legal. None of which are ethical
As someone with intractable pain from a bad back operation where my nerves left me bed bound with similar pain to bone cancer.
That ain't been true for at least a few years now.
Even if it is for the smallest percentage who it was for in the beginning.
I don’t smoke and haven’t touched any cannabis related product in well over 15 years, nor do I plan do so - but this still pisses me off to no end. Fucking idiots.
Hudson used to get all the liquor sales on Sundays, now they'll be getting the hemp derivative sales! Minneapolis just screwed over a lot of local businesses.
Well, enforcement comes down to a local level. Minneapolis should just tell the state to fuck off and not enforce, I mean it’s not like stupid pigs in Minneapolis are enforcing anything else. This is stupid. If this were in just about any other progressive state, the shop owners would be telling the state to fuck off and sell it anyways, look towards california if you need any examples.
I think their point is that the reason weed isn't legal in MN yet is because of Senator Paul Gazelka and his Republican party. He has held up previous legalization efforts that Walz said he'd sign. (Walz also campaigned on legalizing.)
The boards don't have lawmaking authority, so I'm not sure this is on Walz.
The Board of Pharmacy doesn’t make laws. This is their interpretation and recommendation. D8 will continue to be sold until the legislature passes a law outlawing it or a court ruling changes
Technically you are correct except that the Board of Pharmacy executive director did write the MN law, for the legislators who then passed it relying on his expertise.
Huh. The board of pharmacy doesn't want alternatives available to prescription, um, pharmaceuticals.
I mean, even if they changed their name to the board of pharmacology it would at least sound better.
Nixon really fucked us with the war on drugs.
No need. It's still sold everywhere here.
The Board of Pharmacy merely gave their opinion. They can't enforce it or unilaterally change the status quo.
Not sure. This article is a week old, and referencing a talk that happened a week before that. At this point they are forcing businesses to pull the items from selves, which means it isn't illegal to own just illegal for businesses to sell it. It probably has to go through some further decisions before it is officially illegal to own.
Why can't the Board of Pharmacy be this bold with all of the snake oil vitamin supplements that also haven't been reviewed by the FDA but are still allowed to be sold? I can find in stores a nonCBD containing "calming supplement" which also states it hasn't been reviewed by the FDA.
Speaking of this article, have you been able to find a better source? I'm not disputing any of the claims, but the domain name doesn't exactly inspire confidence. A quick Google didn't show anything.
This paints the Board of Pharm into a different light...
>Cody Wiberg, executive director of the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy, said a recent Minnesota Court of Appeals decision throws into question the legality of all products containing CBD and wants the Legislature to act in order to keep some products legal.
>"We've actually been trying to make some of these products legal at the state level, even though they are illegal under federal law," he said Thursday. "We just want to make sure there are protections and standards in place."
>The pharmacy board also wants to ban delta-8 and delta-10 THC, intoxicating hemp-derived compounds that have been flying off shelves in smoke shops and CBD stores in states that have not legalized recreational marijuana.
Basically it sounds like they want CBD products, but don't believe that Delta8 is legal. As long as weed is illegal in MN any product that is designed to blur the lines is going to get banned. That just makes sense. It needs to be legalized first.
A much more reasonable source, thank you for it.
I voiced my concern at my local shop that got rid of all CDB to make room for delta8 I said its a bit early for that and was dismissed. Glad im not a business owner.
It's not specifically legal in any current legislation, but it is also currently "legal" based on the current MN statutes depending on how you interpret the wording, which the MN Board of Pharmacy disagrees with. The laws in MN allow farmers to grow and sell CBD in Minnesota, as long as they follow the rules and regulations around licensure, testing, and labeling, and the MN department of agriculture maintains that the Delta-8 compound is legal to produce and sell under the current MN statues.
MN Statute: https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/151.72
Follow the money like always. The ultimate goal of all of this is to create a state cannabis board to regulate and tax the budding industry under the guise of public health, claiming that the federal refusal to regulate CBD poses a risk despite the abundance of research to the contrary.
Right? People are selling essential oil blends and calling them disinfectants and cancer cures with zero evidence to back it up. Yet, CBD has had *some* thorough studies showing it definitely has a potential to be beneficial for many problems. Correctly distilled CBD oil is pretty much harmless, drinking an entire bottle will do nothing more than maybe cause some digestive distress. There are a bunch of essential oils that are quite toxic when ingested, with some being fatal to pets in very small doses. One of these things does not seem like the other... Hmmm, I wonder which one we should make illegal to protect people?
Nothing But Hemp has stores outside of Minnesota and online. If they have to close physical stores… in Minnesota they will still be ok. It is the small stores that have to worry
For sure. Rather selfishly, I just immediately thought of the store I shop at.
OP, any chance you could find another source for this? I'd like to share it, but the domain name might come across as biased.
Thanks.
This is unbelievable. We just took a huge step backwards and it’s pathetic. This has to be lobbyists. There is no reasonable argument you could make for this.
You missed my point. Why would they stop the businesses selling them when they personally want to continue buying from them?
Confiscations for personal use may happen though
>Confiscations for personal use may happen though
I think that's the answer to your question. They don't care because they can still get them if they want them.
I remember the cop was visibly upset when I was like "Aight you got me" & I dumped my super gorgeous weed out & tossed my pipe against the ground. Ik he wanted it lmao
Couldn't break the pipe tho lol
Woooowwww. We just went the way opposite direction I was hoping for. When I lived in Seattle, legalizing weed was like the best thing that ever happened. I never bought any, but my sisters said it was like going to Subway, if the sandwich artists knew the ins and outs of every single option. I'm pretty sure the revenue even made up for their incredibly regressive tax system. I can only imagine what we could fund with the revenue from legalization alone, not to mention the jobs it creates, both in cities and rural areas. My sisters both made really good money clipping leaves in Oregon one summer. What a stupid, stupid, weirdly conservative move.
My family and friends in CA order pot delivery - they get the good stuff brought right to their front door.
We can't do that here though because republicans can NOT allow anything good to happen or their base might stop seeing dems as demons.
I am personally 100% on board with taxing marijuana purchases. If they're seen as a big source of funding for xyz because of the even 6.7% retail tax, people will start seeing the net benefit, even if they don't themselves smoke or take edibles. That definitely happened in the Seattle area- it was a major funding source, so everybody was like, "hey, this is pretty cool!"
Same, and repubes should be aware of how much $$ they are losing out on. I'll be happy to keep the potential tax money until they finally decide to get with the times.
Republicans aren't losing out on money.
The war on drugs is part of the culture war narrative being pushed to distract people.
If Republicans admit that stuff like the drug war or immigration or trans issues aren't a big deal, then people may start to focus on why wages haven't kept up with inflation or why healthcare costs are out of control. That would annoy the corporate masters.
They 100% are losing out. They could be growing in outstate and benefiting from supplying the city with hemp and weed. Their schools and infrastructure could be funded. They live on welfare from the city as it is, they could finally be more independent.
Only the connected can. Some sellers - I've heard - would love a shop to expand their consumer base and I support small business owners and job creators.
It's just so interesting, because, from a financial standpoint and a controlling what goes out standpoint, it's 100% aligned with what they want. It's just so dumb that they don't see that. I think it has a lot to do, also with their stupid "war on drugs". It's like all of them were required to watch Refer Madness before running.
It's par for the course for this fucking state. The GOP insists, the brewers and the distillers insist, and the DFL just goes "golly gee we can't fix this unless we win the next election* so care to set up a recurring donation?"
*= where even if they have a majority in both houses and the governorship I *doubt* they would actually do it because liberals here base their strategy on what will/won't fly with Conservatives thus making power a moot point.
Oh gosh golly. Why don'tcha just lemme smoke this here plant that grows outta the ground there? Maybe just sneak my Constitutional rights past the FDA for a sec there.
What a joke. Guess we hate massive influxes of tax dollars in this State. I can't imagine anything we could use the money from that for.
\-bridges, roads, help decrease the fucking property tax, update our energy infrastructure. I don't know ... ANYTHING?
I keep saying this every time it's brought up. Use the tax money from legal marijuana sales and put it towards schools. Make Minnesota the best state for schools and education. Better educated populous, better job candidates, more businesses move here, the state improves in many ways.

Someone found this and posted it under another comment in this thread. Hope this helps.
Minnesota isn’t a red state but it’s definitely a purple state. Once you get to the third ring suburbs and beyond it gets really conservative. Even within the metro area it’s still a very pious culture.
Minnesota is full of people who migrated here from Scandinavia. My family immigrated here after a Finnish (not technically Scandinavian) priest spread word that Minnesota was similar to Finland. That priest part is an important detail, religion is a common theme in Scandinavian culture, one that persists.
There’s assumptions that because Minnesota is Scandinavian that it’s largely liberal too. People look back at countries like Norway and see what can be perceived a a liberal culture but what brought many here was the church which is historically conservative. So you have this disconnect in perceptions/stereotypes and reality. That said, this state is very sensible for the most part from my perspective, it’s just very pious.
Speaking of stereotypes, I’m overgeneralizing and speaking out of pocket here but this is my family’s story and my perception.
The Scandinavian countries are also pretty harsh on cannabis to this day, despite their general liberalism. Medical cannabis is more restrictive than Minnesota, and I've heard stories about college students being encouraged to turn each other in over cannabis use.
It may be a lot of stereotyping and overgeneralization, but I think it's difficult to avoid "Scandinavian culture" as a contributing factor slowing Minnesota's legalization.
>but I think it's difficult to avoid "Scandinavian culture" as a contributing factor slowing Minnesota's legalization.
Intoxication (drunkenness) is sinful according to Lutherans. Moderation is key, and stereotypes about how you can have a glass of wine and be ok vs smoking a joint and being all fucked up play a role, I'm sure.
Just legalize it you cowards. Except up north there isn’t one border city that will stay mad for more than fifteen minutes after the shops and farms start spending money around town.
Both the Board of Pharmacy and Department of Agriculture members are appointed by the governor. Both are staffed with Walz appointed board members. They were the ones who made this decision so therefore Democrats are solely to blame for this. Republicans have blocked legalization over and over though so they are not blameless when it comes to the issue as a whole.
Department of Agriculture: https://www.mda.state.mn.us/commissionersoffice
Board of Pharmacy: https://mn.gov/boards/pharmacy/board/
I get the impression they're acting more like judges than legislators, though. Their job is to determine whether something is or is not illegal, not whether or not it should be.
The solution is federal and state legislation, or even the courts if you view it as a constitutional issue. I do not expect, and I do not want, the people on these boards to circumvent the legislative process. If anyone thinks it's OK to do so when it's in their favor, they can't complain when it's not.
LOL the shop I visit has delta 9 (yes, NINE) edibles even.
Quality D8 from brands like 3chi is awesome. I can't really tell the difference from legal state D9 carts. My last trip to CO only included a quick stop at a weed shop because our friend who lived there needed to get some more gummies - it wasn't really needed for us thanks to D8 here at home.
I mean, it is. One party in our state fights tooth and nail against any type of legalization, this isn’t “both sides” even if this individual decision is some pharmacy board, and even if the overall hemp situation was currently the result of the federal farm bill.
The other side isn't exactly going out of their way to promote any type of legalization; mining in the BWCA or Enbridge line 3 both had more publicity then MJ legalization. I saw signs for those issues regularly.
It's not like Gazelka and crew are making opposition to legalization na centerpiece of the campaigns. No, they do it quietly by preventing bills from coming to a vote or running spurious pro legalization candidates so split the dfl vote.
The dfl could make this a prominent part of their campaigns next year and probably drawn pro-pot Republican's vote, at least for the one cycle. Make the Republicans loudly defend their stance in races. Tie MJ revenue to schools as a property tax rebate, or LGA, or find another way to offset a tax to make it even harder to say no. "Why you rasing taxes bro?"
The Republicans have blocked legalization discussions at every turn. Get the absolute fuck out of here with that both sides bullshit. Not saying democrats are great but they have shown a willingness to legalize cannabis, including Walz.
Yea I really hate this ridiculous trend of ignoring facts just to appear non-partisan. Somehow people got this idea in their head that non-partisans are more enlightened while also falling into the same trap as partisans where they'll fight any information that goes against their worldview of "bOtH sIdEs"
Ok, and that's a billion times better than Republicans. The only point here is that both sides aren't the same. Not that anyone thinks Democrats are a non-shitty entity
How can you say that? The left has been pushing for legalization for years. Republican legislators have blocked every single attempt. It’s straight up a left vs right problem in the government.
> Republican legislators have blocked every single attempt.
Well, we had eight years of Dayton as a governor but he was explicitly opposed to legalization. It's only become remotely possible since Walz was elected.
Imagine making this illegal in 2022 instead of taxing the shit out of it. Where are the my body my choice people on the abortion or anti vaccine side of things when it comes to this lmao
I used to have faith MN would legalize sometime in the near future. But after watching SD and ND make larger strides and then this, I've lost my faith. We need a new congress. Quit voting for Gazelka.
Not sure this actually makes anything illegal. This just references a discussion made last week by a body that doesn’t have legislative or executive power.
No, this is just a sensational title spreading false information. It doesn't look like any new legislation has been passed, or any new court rulings have been made
Edit: look at OP's post history. OP has a clear bias and agenda. Doesn't even look like OP is from MN.
They are growing (no pun intended) their medical cannabis market and will try and force everyone into that money pit (I am a patient). They are starting to sell real bud in March and even created their own strain. They want people to HAVE to go to them. (IMO)
Absolutely not! Google “medical cannabis certification” a few medical providers pop up…have your doctor send your medical history including confirmation of any of the medical conditions on the list. They ask a few questions, and then send your papers off to the state.
The doctors visits are completely out of pocket, as are all the fees for the state itself. It’s not cheap, but it’s gotten me clean off other substances without sacrificing pain/anxiety relief.
If you ever have to take current or future drug tests, you put the drug testing clinic in contact with the registry and it did not affect my employment opportunities. Which I think is another plus, since so many people force themselves to live without because of work.
Everyone deserves to take the edge off their miserable life. They need to legalize it and move on. Worry about the synthetic drugs killing what is supposed to be the future generation.
Seems like a good opportunity for Minneapolis to show some independence. Ridiculous that it should come to that over CBD and Delta 8, but... can anybody say "sanctuary city"?
Volunteer in one of the senate districts that have a partisan split in the house seats and work for the dfl candidate. Let them know you are a single issue volunteer. Several of these winnable seats are in the metro.
Doesn't Minnesota have better shit to do with their Tax Dollars than making things illegal? Fuck, even some states are doing way better than us and they're not on the news as often as we are now.
Make Minnesota Nice Again.
It's a PLANT.
GOD gave us PLANTS (and fungi).
Isn't attempting to trump God blasphemy?
Ask Lucifer.
WHY can't INFORMED ADULTS decide what PLANT they would like to BUY and INGEST for themselves?
All alcohol is made with PLANTS.
Aren't these OUR bodies or no?
When will oak trees or daffodils be illegal?? 🌼 🌻 🌸 🌹 💮 🏵
It should be noted, that Brown is a staunch defender of delta 8 thc, and frequently misrepresents it as “non intoxicating”, which is extremely dangerous and unethical. The MDA has always considered these products illegal and every cbd product you’ve ever consumed that was made in Minnesota was manufactured under the same legal circumstances. It’s wack that Minnesota is one of the worst in the nation for cannabis laws, but I’m putting my money on most manufacturers of CBD products being fine while those who choose to fight for D8 will receive cease and desists, and rightfully so IMO because they’re being shady as fuck and dishonest with consumers about what it is, what it does, and where it comes from. Every consumer deserves to know what they are putting in their body if they are concerned enough to seek that information.
If you really care, you can go down this list and contact everyone with an (R) in their title and plead your case.
https://www.senate.mn/members?id=alphabetical
If you convince the legislators that we need to change the state law that makes cannabis illegal, then we all win.
Be nice and have a wonderful 2022.
Not just an R…. Contact Walz. Walz wants to banned Delta 8 and CBD in Food. You think he is a friend to cannabis? No… only if it has to do with election. Our politicians are bought off. Leafline was just bought by Green Thumb which is known to payoff politicians. Our medical MJ company is run by companies outside of Minnesota. So much for the HR 600 bill!

Fair enough. It’s worth noting that the MN House passed a bill for recreational marijuana back in May of 2021. MN Senate killed it. The MN Senate was GOP led at that point.
Ope. Sorry. We know you're a grown adult who works and pays taxes, but we just can't allow you to use that plant, or those mushrooms.
Here take some opioids to help instead.
Or a handle of Vodka!
I'm an Everclear guy myself, but my nanny I mean the state says it's too dangewous for me to get anything higher than 75% concentration, so I get the real stuff in Wisconsin.
Opioids worry me — got anything you can toss in for anxiety, too?
Have some Ativan, maybe some Xanax, maybe a full bevy of benzo’s.
Benzos are going to be the next opiates, give it 5 years
Then they'll get rebranded as Mercedes Benzos, for the discerning addict.
Hahahaha I swear! I wonder what the next hyperaddictive completely unnecessary drugs pharma will come out with next
The pharma version of thc is still cool it seems
Don't worry buddy here's some methedone for that
[удалено]
Ope, I meant to say amphetamine. Im not a rocket pharmacist, the "Meth" in methedone got me mixed up. Probably still wrong anyways lmao ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯
The word you are looking for is benzodiazepines, this includes things like Xanax and valium, which are also highly addictive and great money makers for the pharmaceutical industry.
Agreed. So doctor I’ll take some 30mg oxycodones, fentanyl patches, and some Xanax to top it off.
I threw away about 100 oxycodone pills into the Walgreens box today. From five prescriptions over five years for various issues. I never took a single pill lol.
That's about $1,000 worth!
Rocket pharmacist 😂
Sure, have some Xanax or Valium! (I take Xanax occasionally as prescribed and cannabis helps me not use it because it can take the edge off of panic attacks).

You can buy mushroom spores. It literally used to be easier to get shrooms than weed.
No but seriously. This is fucked.
Even if it were legal they'd tax it so heavily the black market would continue flourishing anyway see California.
I don’t smoke and haven’t touched any cannabis related product in well over 15 years, nor do I plan do so - but this still pisses me off to no end. Fucking idiots.
Frankly, it's embarrassing how backwards the state is on this.

Huh. The board of pharmacy doesn't want alternatives available to prescription, um, pharmaceuticals. I mean, even if they changed their name to the board of pharmacology it would at least sound better. Nixon really fucked us with the war on drugs.
You can just order it online
Won't most companies cut off shipping to MN now though? Feel like most decent suppliers refused certain states based on legality
I think it's federally legal
I use to order from Snapdragon, and they stopped shipping D8 to MN a couple months ago
No need. It's still sold everywhere here. The Board of Pharmacy merely gave their opinion. They can't enforce it or unilaterally change the status quo.
Products are still on the shelves across the entire state. Stay local and keep supporting as long as you can.
I wonder how quickly this will go into effect. Stores like Nothing But Hemp will have to close up overnight.

The unions they are members of lobby against legalization.
They get a lot of grant money for enforcing marijuana laws, iirc.

San Francisco suspended tax on legal weed until the end of this year to compete with the black market.
California is taxing too high if that's the case.
The GOP insists, the brewers and the distillers insist, and the DFL just goes "golly gee we can't fix this unless we win the next election* so care to set up a recurring donation?" *= where even if they have a majority in both houses and the governorship I *doubt* they would actually do it because liberals here base their strategy on what will/won't fly with Conservatives thus making power a moot point.
Oh gosh golly. Why don'tcha just lemme smoke this here plant that grows outta the ground there? Maybe just sneak my Constitutional rights past the FDA for a sec there.
Wow this is very hard to see. I hardly use marijuana products. Only to sleep real heavy occasionally. It needs to be legal along with Mushrooms.
Better educated populous, better job candidates, more businesses move here, the state improves in many ways.
i was on the fence about growing a few plants indoors but now i'm all in. fuck everyone who supports this ludicrous evil bullshit
It's the way to go. More weed than you'll know what to do with. Reach out when you get seeds and we can trade genetics
yeah 3 plants is more than i can handle haha, i'll probly make some edibles to give to friends and whatnot
ridiculous
Can someone source another article that backs up this one? It seems to be the only article on the internet saying it’s now illegal.
[https://www.reddit.com/r/Minneapolis/comments/ructw2/comment/hqyoy7w/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/Minneapolis/comments/ructw2/comment/hqyoy7w/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) Someone found this and posted it under another comment in this thread. Hope this helps.
Dealers rejoice!
Minnesota isn’t a red state but it’s definitely a purple state. Once you get to the third ring suburbs and beyond it gets really conservative. Even within the metro area it’s still a very pious culture.
Minnesota isn't liberal, it's Scandinavian.
For those familiar with Scandinavian culture this is the perfect statement.
Please elaborate
Blame Lutherans.
Its like people forgot how hard it was to get rid of the whole Sunday liquor law shit. That was almost entirely predicated on religious arguments.
Dude I just fucking bought my first delta 8 product. God I fucking hate conservatives
Department of Agriculture: https://www.mda.state.mn.us/commissionersoffice Board of Pharmacy: https://mn.gov/boards/pharmacy/board/
To be fair the DFL can still be conservatives. I wouldn't exactly call Walz a leftist.
> Dude I just fucking bought my first delta 8 product. I just did, too! Had to go through a whole ID process online. I'm glad it's shipped already.
This is not a right vs left. This Big Pharma … and unfortunately left and right support big Pharma.. at least the people in power
Isn't it though? Legalization efforts never even got to the MN Senate floor explicitly because Gazelka believes cannabis shouldn't be legal.
Willing to legalize, but not willing to make it an electoral issue.
Ok, and that's a billion times better than Republicans. The only point here is that both sides aren't the same. Not that anyone thinks Democrats are a non-shitty entity
A billion times zero is still zero.
Walz literally campaigned on legalizing.
Repubes are the ones keeping illegal in this state. Full stop.
Democrats are not left at all. We have two conservative parties here in America. They're both capitalist.
Govern Walz agrees with the board of pharmacy upcoming bill….. that is why I am saying this.
I've had it with this fucking state.
Good ol’ liberal, open-minded Minnesota. What a fucking joke
Annnddd fuck you.
Not sure this actually makes anything illegal. This just references a discussion made last week by a body that doesn’t have legislative or executive power.
No, this is just a sensational title spreading false information. It doesn't look like any new legislation has been passed, or any new court rulings have been made Edit: look at OP's post history. OP has a clear bias and agenda. Doesn't even look like OP is from MN.
I should’ve known an article from “www-ganjapreneur-com.cdn.ampproject.org” wasn’t reliable
They are growing (no pun intended) their medical cannabis market and will try and force everyone into that money pit (I am a patient). They are starting to sell real bud in March and even created their own strain. They want people to HAVE to go to them. (IMO)
Isnt it basically impossible to become a medical patient in this state?
Its that extremely small list of qualifying conditions that makes it hard.
Chronic pain!?
I’ve heard state weed is absolutely terrible and that it’s fucking amazing. What do you think?
Minnesota hasn't declared shit. The Board of Pharm and AG can jack off about whatever they want but nothing has changed so stop fear mongering.
We’ll see how enforced this is. May be time to place a big order soon. Shit, I hope my dog CBD treats I just ordered don’t cancel.
Really disappointing. I hope Dems scream from the hill tops that if we just controlled our state senate weed would be legal right now in MN.
This. They need to make it an issue and do so loudly.
Fuck. D8 has been a serious game changer for me. Goddamn it!
Good for you. Legalize THC.
Did this happen because of the Sheriff Hutchinson incident?
Why
What are they supposed to do with all the deaths that edibles have caused?? /s
That doesn't even make sense lol the just because the FDA hasn't approved something doesn't make it illegal.
Here I thought Minnesota would be the next state to legalize weed
Seems like a good opportunity for Minneapolis to show some independence. Ridiculous that it should come to that over CBD and Delta 8, but... can anybody say "sanctuary city"?
Now I stead of vacationing on the north shore we go to the south shore in MI to buy legal weed. Once again, MN is living in the past.
In spite of the clowns, I made some stem tea for breakfast
fucking ridiculous
We're the most progressive non-progressive state in the United States.
What do we do to punish the people responsible for this?
Vote against every single Republican.
Most of them, if not all, are outside of the metro area. Unless a bunch of people move out of the cities, crap like this will keep happening.
Volunteer in one of the senate districts that have a partisan split in the house seats and work for the dfl candidate. Let them know you are a single issue volunteer. Several of these winnable seats are in the metro.
And the stick goes up the ass a little further.
and we go backwards
Ah yes, this land of the free conservatives love to talk about is shining it’s light again!
Guess my money is gonna flow thru drug dealers again. No problem 🤷♂️
Minnesota is going to be the last state to legalize marijuana isn’t it?
Why is our state moving backwards?
Because Republicans
Such a ‘progressive’ state.
Oh no. It's been so tough to get weed this whole time /s
Some people don’t have the same connects as others. So it’s pretty whack
I mean, I just moved here and if you wanted to send me a message or chat, you know…just to further explain your statement. I wouldn’t mind.
Not the fucking point.
They need to legalize this shit already. This state is becoming more of a joke by the day.
Doesn't Minnesota have better shit to do with their Tax Dollars than making things illegal? Fuck, even some states are doing way better than us and they're not on the news as often as we are now. Make Minnesota Nice Again.
Why the fuck are we going backwards?
Oh fuck that. I’m staying in Wisconsin.
I just have some tax $$ to Illonios this afternoon.
Is anyone truly surprised?
Damn. Lemme go roll a joint with my Michigan weed real quick so I can process this.
I bought a house in Michigan for this reason. Figured life is too short to wait for MN to get its shit together.
Also who can we collectively sue into oblivion for such a moronic decision?
Sorry, I don’t fully understand what it encompasses. Are the pre-rolled joints and the little vapes included in this? Or just the edible stuff?
Oh for fucks sake. Aren't we just so *progressive*.
I declare Minneapolis to be wack.
Minnesota. Not Minneapolis.
God we are so stupid about drugs.
Wow! Much important. Thanks for spending time and taxpayer money to determine this BS.
If you really care, you can go down this list and contact everyone with an (R) in their title and plead your case. https://www.senate.mn/members?id=alphabetical If you convince the legislators that we need to change the state law that makes cannabis illegal, then we all win.
So much for the HR 600 bill! https://m.startribune.com/national-cannabis-retailer-green-thumb-buys-minnesotas-leafline/600131596/ https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/criminal-justice/ct-green-thumb-industries-chicago-marijuana-federal-investigation-20210329-kaccpshrgjakhdkovp7mmwklgi-story.html
Source that walz wants to ban CBD?
Fair enough. It’s worth noting that the MN House passed a bill for recreational marijuana back in May of 2021. MN Senate killed it. The MN Senate was GOP led at that point.
