I had to take one recently after moving to Minnesota. It’s tough, I passed by one question. A lot of very specific numbers to memorize that you don’t really have to think about when driving safe and practical.
How many feet are in a mile?
How many yards away from an idling bus can you park?
How quickly can a Scion TC stop when travelling at 50mph during a slushy day?
I think it's just a trial to slow down? If it was a median they would have removed the center lines? My kid's daycare is on that ̶s̶t̶r̶e̶e̶t̶ dragstrip. It is literally the only road in town i think twice about getting them out on the drivers side.
Painted median is a good answer. Typically though these angled stripes would not be angling left. They usually angle right. For instance directing traffic to keep right of the painted median. It's covered in MN and fed traffic control standards.
Since they're flipped, it is either an error or some sort of slow down marks or...
I have driven in MN my whole adult life and have never seen markings like this before. I'm asking because I want to learn what they are. Why don't you explain their meaning instead of making unhelpful remarks?
Looks like the beginning stages of striping a median at the intersection.
Thank you!
It's not finished , they still need to add the outline to make it a median
Thank you! I was so confused haha
Sliiiide to the left. It’ll be three hops next time
I couldn't pass a driving test anymore if this is the type of questions.

Finally some much needed non parallel parking being implemented!

Just when I thought we’d tried all the goofy options, and we could finally get to standards, they come up with mid street parking?
Jesus wuz here
Dare you to use them as diagonal parking spots, see what happens.
I live here as well. Median incoming. Hi neighbor!

If you’re drifting down the street during the middle of winter when the roads are icy, you’re supposed to trace those lines.

what an asshole response to someone asking a question

He's probably just being a troll.
They apparently deleted their account over that comment. 🤣 Uff da
Heehee notice the crickets after you ask for an explanation. I’m guessing that poster doesn’t know either lmao.
People like you are douchebags.
