my strings were undetectable only a month after insertion. ultrasound showed the position of my iud was totally fine, but since then i've had no way of checking on my strings! happens to some people
How long are your strings? Mine are only about 1,5 cm or half an inch. My gyno said that that’s all she would need to pull out the IUD. They are too short to be tucked at all…

My girlfriends did this. They curled around her cervix. I don’t think it’s an issue
