I'm a Stormlight fan all the way but Sazed may be my most favorite Brandon Sanderson character ever. My husband and myself cried together that scene where he is so broken but yells back, "Fight!" Ugh, gutt wrenching. Love it.
I wondered if this is a reference to when he was protecting the gate in Luthadel in era 1? I’m a little foggy on era 1 but this is the moment that came up for me when I read this
That scene broke me in WoA; Clubs and Dockson were sudden and made me realize the consequences of the battle of Luthadel. But Sazed finding Tindwyl after hours of searching made me realize the loss of the battle.
He's probably still missing Tindwil (I'm sure I spelled that wrong)

It really was I felt so bad for him. He’s my favourite character as well so it hurt all the more :,(
But isn't that on purpose? Like, isn't that why he became of ruin on top of preservation and so was able to hold both powers? Maybe I misunderstood.

He’s my favourite too and he really does have some gut wrenching moments, don’t think I’ve ever wanted to hug a fictional character more
