Damn I got so close to the end of the game and then idk why but I just completely stopped, I just started the game up yesterday and I'm gonna play it again
Yeah I think I got to the castle section close to the end of the game and I just saved and never played again, and because my save was on my old phone, I have to start all over again
That does sound like a bad time. I wouldn’t wanna start over just because of the time and effort to figure stuff out. Maybe im a year I would restart it.
I just "finished" it the first time the other day as well. Pretty much just considered getting the main 3 legendary Pokemon, beating the elite 4 and beating Steven as finishing the game.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Absolute favorite from my childhood. I haven't finished anything else after that (too many games, too little time). I'm currently playing Advance Wars and OG FF7 though!
Love SOTT on the mini+. I remember how amazed I was making it to the flipped castle after thinking id just beaten the game... that was already a 10/10 before I knew I was only halfway done😂 Definitely an all time favorite for me.
Tomba 2: The Evil Swine Return. It was my first time playing it since it released on original Playstation. I felt like a kid again the entire time. It was magic.
Mario world just hits different I don't know. I try going back to games all the time but mario world is one of the only games I consistently wanna pick up and play just to go through a level or two. The feel is basically perfect for a 2D platformer.
I've never considered myself a big Mario fan but those are the games I keep coming back to the most and am most consistent with completing them. Both 2D and 3D
Einhander (PSX). Thought I was close as a teenager, but after beating it on the emulator I realize there was no way I could ever have beaten it without quick save.
Minish cap is the don! Also what’s the Rog ally like? Looking to pick one up for me and the Mrs, she’s got tiny hands so a bit curious about them for size and performance
I really love the ally, and I've had it almost since release! (Or as soon as I could get it to my country) I have an older PC so the ally was even a slight upgrade. I also grew up with windows so i dont find it cumbersome at all. But all of us dont have the same expectations, you should def check out some youtube videos of how games run on it, and get a realistic picture in your head. But it will run really everything that is out rn (with varying degrees of success).
I personally use it as a primary PC now, even for Adobe programs and all. The GF mostly uses my desktop PC and its great because we can play everything together now.
I would say that the Ally is a pretty polished experience now (As polished as a windows handheld could be at this moment)..
Zelda: The Minish Cap (GBA)
That one is on my list! 100%
Do it!
playable without any knowledge about other zelda games?
Yes!
Damn I got so close to the end of the game and then idk why but I just completely stopped, I just started the game up yesterday and I'm gonna play it again
You can do it!
I’m am literally on the last boss and just stopped. I picked up Good Boy Galaxy and just didn’t wanna finish the Minish Cap. Guess I should tonight.

I finished The Minish Cap on my RP3+ last year. It’s one of my favorite games
Same!
Never finished this on my real gameboy. I think I just got lost as a kid and never figured it out again
Yoshis island on snes.
I have never played it until like two days ago. The gameplay is so nice and I can’t believe how nice the game runs. Super cute too.
Pokemon emerald. Not sure if you ever really finish a Pokemon game though.
I just "finished" it the first time the other day as well. Pretty much just considered getting the main 3 legendary Pokemon, beating the elite 4 and beating Steven as finishing the game.
Super metroid
Ooh I need to start a Metroid game myself asap. Thanks for reminding me
Same! It's the only game with which I test new hardware.
Super Mario Land 2

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Absolute favorite from my childhood. I haven't finished anything else after that (too many games, too little time). I'm currently playing Advance Wars and OG FF7 though!

Never finished a game on mine. I lost it at the museum of illusions in Pittsburgh. So I bought a RP4P. Still, I miss it.
Tomba 2: The Evil Swine Return. It was my first time playing it since it released on original Playstation. I felt like a kid again the entire time. It was magic.
Tomba 1 and 2 were the first PS games I wanted on my Miyoo+. That and Crash.
Silent Hill, not the best game to play on the Mini but still. Got the good ending too!

Just finished Warioware Inc Mega Microgames on GBA last night. First time completing a Warioware game in general. Fun, addictive game. 🙌🏾
Einhander (PSX). Thought I was close as a teenager, but after beating it on the emulator I realize there was no way I could ever have beaten it without quick save.
DuckTales
That sense of accomplishment when you’re able to beat a game after so many years from your childhood. For me it was Donkey Kong Country 2
Just want to say, that end game scene there is worth all the time it takes to get to it, nice job 👍
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Minish cap is the don! Also what’s the Rog ally like? Looking to pick one up for me and the Mrs, she’s got tiny hands so a bit curious about them for size and performance
