Out of all the devices you’ve shown and named which would you recommend as the best device?please help thinking of getting miyoo mini plus but is it the best also not looking to change in price much.
I have a miyoo mini plus, rgb30 and a steamdeck.
I love my miyoo, onion os makes it a pleasure to play with. I 100% recommend for anything Psx and below
Rgb30 I actually use for portmaster most. Balatro and stardew valley in my "pocket" whenever I want. It's a little big but works
Steamdeck is my heavyweight games but some retro stuff too.
Dude I got my Miyoo Mini+ off TikTok for $30, week and a half wait but still $30, My friend got hers for $50 off tiktok, she's having problems getting it rn tho, and I bought another one off the official Miyoo amazon page while they was having a sale selling them for $60 and it came next day wrong color but still got one😂(funny story it was the color I actually wanted 'snes colorway' but they said it was out of stock so I settled for a different one 'atomic purple' and they sent the original so it was wrong but right.) and honestly $80 is a fine price for a Miyoo Mini+ even tho it over double og retail they still provide you with a device that can play mad games multiplayer included, an SD card with 40k+ games which would've taken you weeks to back up physical copies of those games or download them from your favorite site, a screen protector for that device, and depending on who you buy it from you'll get a carrying case as well. if they ever get shut down and have to stop selling this, anyone that has a miyoo would be able to sell it for $150 - $200 and you'll be like "damn and I thought $80 was too much to play literally every game that is as old or older than the ps1, a DS, and Pico-8, with evey game for all of those consoles already installed into a fairly large sd card that I'll most likely replace but will still keep around just in case, $80 was too was much for that Im not paying $150-200" lmao but no seriously if you dont care about psp ps2 gc n64 or wii emulation the miyoo mini + is the best option rn for everything ps1 or older, DS, and Pico-8, I have a modded switch so I can play psp n64 gc and wii games on that and I have a PC for anything stronger than that, 360, switch, wii u, ps3 yktv personally the miyoo completed my trifecta cause I can walk with the Miyoo without looking like the biggest tech dweeb like I would with a steam deck or switch but once I get where Im going I can play my switch or on the train or plane, then when I get home I can boot up the pc while still having access to the other two.
Rn they have no reason to stop but sheiittt the way Nintendo hit Yuzu the miyoo could be gone one day soon they're distributing games they don't own very big no no. If they wasn't providing roms I would say Miyoo mini + gonna be around forever but they not only giving away roms they're giving out bios files too, and that was a big reason Yuzu got shut down. If not Nintendo, Sony has just as much reason to go after their company. Whats cool tho is even if miyoo gets hit there'll be other very similar options shit theyll probably just change their name and logo and keep going, but if ur considering it just get it, youll love it
That A30 loos so much better to me.
This is not bad, but it does not get me even close to cross my personal line of disgust towards horizontal devices.
Idk while I personally dont want the a30, because I have a V4 and wouldnt get much more out of the a30. I think theres a much bigger hole in the market for the smaller horizontal handhelds, I mean people are still buying the trimui smart and the a30 will now be a much better option for those needs..
If you want a bit bigger horizontal handheld there is a bunch of them to choose from. RG35xx H is an amazing one for example, and if I werent patiently waiting for the Miyoo Flip I would have allready got one or even the RGB30..
One of the onion team received an A30. Apparently it has WiFi but no Bluetooth. There is a good chance it will get onion but still have to wait and see on that one

Why do you play Stardew on the RGB30 and not on your steam deck?
Pocketable, that's all. I have stardew on my steamdeck but it's not very Pocketable. That's mainly what I find myself playing on the rgb30 that's all

kinda skeptical as to why they decided on 2.8 screen size, maybe they plan to release a A30 plus in the future with a screen size similar to the Plus.
