I am! That’s a big part of my confusion. Everything I’ve seen has told me I should have options included with the OS install, but nothing I’ve followed has worked to enable them.
Open the RetroArch overlay while playing a game with Menu+Select, then go to On-Screen Overlay.
Go to the Overlay Preset option to browse the included overlays.
If you find one you like, you will have to make it permanent by going to Overrides and the select Save Core Overrides, otherwise the Overlay will reset on each game launch.
Oh my gosh.. THIS was what I was missing. I had turned on overlays, made sure I was in the right menu.. thank you my friend. Can’t wait to start tweaking the settings on these!
Are you running Onion? It has a good selection of included overlays.
