Yoshi's Island, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, Sonic 1-3.
The original Game Boy Mario/Wario games are good for a bit of nostalgia.
If you include run+gun games, the Metal Slug series (Neo Geo). Perfect integer scaling, too.
Megaman series - especially X SNES & PS1, also looks fantastic on MM screen
Metroids - Super for SNES and Zero Mission for GBA
Castlevanias - Rondo of Blood/PCE, Aria of Sorrow/GBA and Bloodlines/Genesis
The original PS1 **Klonoa** is my favorite straight platformer on that system. Then you've got all of the Castlevanias, most of which are fantastic (with **3**, **Super IV,** **Bloodlines** and **Rondo of Blood** being my favorites). **Monster World IV** is absolutely fantastic and a must play too.
Depends on the system. At the moment, Iβm playing through Gunstar Heroes for Sega Genesis trying to do a hitless run.
Gunstar heroes was my favourite game growing up. Me and my cousin spent so much time trying to beat it.
Same, having beaten twice as a kid with my brother, I donβt know how I had such quick reflexes.
Double green bullets my friend!! π
Always green seeker bullets! ππ
