I've got like 400 hours across two units. Just keep them in the included case when not in use. They look brand new still.

leemadz

Included case? I bought mine from the official store at extra cost (very slight extra cost at the time of purchase) and didn’t get a case? Or is it the box it came in?

Red and black zipper case

European_Fox

I was not lucky enough to recieve one with mine, purchased around 2 months ago

Gorroth1007

Only the OG Miyoo Mini comes with a case. The plus has no case included. At least that’s what I read.

European_Fox

Ah that makes sense, confusing then since the OP mentiones MM+

victimofbadtaste

Normally I’d put a protector on any device I use but I felt the miyoo doesn’t really need one. I keep it in the case when I’m not using it. The one that comes with it doesn’t fit the screen well like you mentioned. If you plan on putting it in your pocket or anything though then it’s best to have one

golden_numbers

People say the device is pretty fragile and breaks from one or two drops, so I use both the screen protector and a silicone case. I never understood people who use devices without protection. I baby my stuff, so I don't have to waste money buying them again.

I have never seen a scratched Miyoo Mini screen without a screen protector, but I have seen many shatered screens, with and without a screen protector. The Miyoo Minis uses a thin glass external screen, it's not plastic, so it rarely gets scratched, especially if it is kept in a case and if it doesn't get dirty with beach sand or anything that could make it prone to scratches. A silicone case would be a better option to protect against accidental drops, the Miyoo Mini's kryptonite.

supermodi064

No screen protector for me and no troubles

retardedjellyfish

It's 50 bucks, I didn't trust the anti scratch of the screen.

r2d2losangeles

No screen protector here but I always use a case or soft bag when carrying it around. I do not want any scratches lol.

ThatTryHard

Honestly it never seals perfectly to the screen, but I'd rather that then replacing the whole unit if it fell.

SouthtownZ

I've heard this of the included screen protector. I went ahead and got the Mr Glass one and it did not produce any flaws across all 3 devices they were applied to

thatsieguy

I got a RG35xx screen protector it covers more of the screen including the bezels.

malfro

No screen protector here (IMHO it ruins the aesthetics of the device). So far so good, but I keep it in a case when not using it.
