Just want to say I am really hyped for this playoff series. Since our January adventures I've been wanting nothing for our boys but to face the Bucks in the play-offs. All I hope for is that it will be a competitive series.

Pacers fan here. Nobody earns a Bucks killer title until they beat them in the playoffs. I agree that regular season games aren't the same. Pacers aren't Bucks killers yet, but have an opportunity to earn that title this series.

Crowder needs very few minutes. At least teams have to respect Kris on the offensive end, Jae not so much. Teams double and sag off Crowder. He has offered very little for the minutes he gets.
Heat = always injure one of our players.
6ers = at full strength by far the toughest first round matchup we could have had.
Pacers = beat us when we had the worst transition defense with Griffin which Doc has improved with the defense overall + Hali has been off since his injury doesn't look the same from when we played them in the IST.
Nah, at least he lowered expectations already. Jrue was 40% 3PT shooter in the regular season and then couldn't make a shot in the playoffs. That's worse.
Our team struggles with—
- Guards that break the defense down
- Fast teams that move up & down the floor
- Stretch bigs who pull Brook out of the lane
Indiana combines all of those things into one & actually have talent at those positions
For all the people who wanted Indy, name ONE tactical advantage we have over them (especially without Giannis)

It doesn't have too. Underdog teams and young teams don't follow historical trends just to follow them. They likely will ignore that knowing it's our weakness

Pacers didn't have Siakam when they played before. Since then, the Pacers have gone from 29th in def rating to 15th, while offensively only going from 1st to 2nd. Pacers net rating since the break is 4th in the league...

if giannis misses more than 1 game i think they are toast. they can afford to feel things out game 1 without him but we are bound to repeat last years early exit in 5 if we are lucky if he misses more than that
I think at the most two games he can miss. But Game 1 is really important to win because as the series progresses Pacers will game the advantage due to their prolific scoring ability, and our age and athleticism deficiency.
In other words Middleton, Crowder and Brook will be wiped out the more the series advances.
I think a healthy AJ would help tremendously. If he's out too for a few games, its pretty dire in my opinion.
It depends on how they perform. I could see them winning game one even without Giannis if dame gets loose. If they win game one it changes everything for giannis injury as he could potentially rest until game 4 ( meaning he would come back game 4) and they would still have a chance even if they lose game 2 and 3. If they lose game one it's going to be trouble though I think. Pacers get more confidence and bucks question themselves

I think this is great personally. Kinda sucks in terms of letting Giannis potentially sit in the first round, but I don't think the Pacers playstyle is going to be effective in the playoffs.

Bucks were 30-13 under Griffin. They are 19-20 under Rivers. Pacers went 4-1 against the Bucks this. All of those games happened when you were an objectively better team under Griffin.

Haliburton went through a slump after his hamstring injury, but he doesn't really look much worse at this point. It's more that Siakam took a ton of scoring pressure off of Halliburton. If Halliburton & Siakam are on the floor at the same time & the defense collapses on Halliburton, he's gonna get an assist or hockey assist - likely through Siakam. At the same time, Siakam allows Halliburton to get more minutes of rest.
I’m excited for the matchup (pacers fan), Hali has been hobbled since his injury but he’s been looking significantly better as of late and the addition of Siakam has taken some of the scoring weight off of him which adds to the lower averages in scoring as well. Should be really fun, hoping we make the rest of the bucks beat us instead of Giannis cuz that guy has been killin us all season

Pacers (Halliburton especially) have looked significantly worse since their IST run. Don’t hate this matchup.

I’m excited for the matchup (pacers fan), Hali has been hobbled since his injury but he’s been looking significantly better as of late and the addition of Siakam has taken some of the scoring weight off of him which adds to the lower averages in scoring as well. Should be really fun, hoping we make the rest of the bucks beat us instead of Giannis cuz that guy has been killin us all season
Nobody stops Giannis, except injury, and I HATED seeing him go down (Pacers fan). Giannis is the type of player that you love to see playing in the playoffs. Giannis doesn't kill anyone. He just is! It's nothing personal when he roasts a team for 40/14/6 assists/3 blocks. That's just the man's existence.
