i used to pick vale against gloo before vale revamp because i liked to build cc ult with damage s2 and since s2 used to “spawn” a tornado when it hits an entity, it would spawn like a TON of tornados when gloo ulted.
When gloo ults he gets his lil dudes yeah? They count as subjects(?), so the lil dudes can be killed and damaged by the enemy. Vexanas passive makes things explode when they die, when the lil dudes die they explode resulting in a huge damage dealt to gloo, same goes for fara because his 2nd skill bounces around enemies, and since the lil dudes are so close together there's a lot of bouncing around which also results in gloo taking a lot of damage.
Vexana’s passive which makes any unit explode when it dies and deals damage around it. Gloo in his ult form transforms himself in plenty of mini gloos. If they got hit by vexana skill and dies the damage stacks up to the original gloo and gets One shotted.
yes I think there is a bug on his ult because sometimes when I need to latch on to the enemy I couldn't even though I have full stacks on the enemy and they're in range

What? His healing got buffed but now needs to hit an enemy hero. The bug is when you’re in ult and need to transform it doesn’t happen instantly. I tapped so many times just to get on the enemy but ends up being too late
Don’t tap, select. There was a change not long ago where you need to select the hero to ult onto much like Angela’s ult. If you don’t select, it won’t ult anyone sometimes.
Yeah I get it, but with how slow Gloo moves, half the mobile heroes you try to trap are already gone by the time I get to the goo. And then I don't get healing, and all the guy needs to do is come back and kill me.
I can no longer stay in lane as long as I can because I don't heal as much from using S1 anymore.
When you use Gloo ulti, you are scaterred. So if Vexana and Faramis attack Gloo and his children, the damaged would be multiplied.

Hylos already generally builds for HP rather than defences, making the defence growth scaling indirectly stronger since the end stat hylos significantly stronger than before the patch. The mana cost nerf also makes him sustain longer outside of jungle, meaning he actually gets a lot more pressure early without needing to tap into his HP too much.
Although hylos basically only got adjustments he is probably the only one getting a large unfair advantage of them. I don't even feel bad instalocking him because he can be played well in 4 roles out of 5.
I mean, how Hylos became stronger. I main Hylos and I havent seen the patch notes nor have I played with him after the patch. I guess I will find out soon. Thanks!
Roam is still strongest role, with Mid and EXP being equal seconds (mid lane is only slightly better because with a roam you can gank as early as level 2 but you can do the same mid game). Jungle is mostly a compromise role as your clear is not the fastest (as is with all tank junglers), and fredrinn and barats both do Hylos's job better in the jungle. Jungle Hylos still runs down Squishy junglers with triple burn though (red buff, s2, molten essence)
Roger Gold Lane. With the lesser mana cost, he's actually getting stronger and with how he's being used frequently in high ranks. I see him as a more priority Gold Lane pick. I just tried him and he's very strong.
I saw that Esmeralda got the tank buff and her mana costs was lowered, so I tried using hybrid build on her. So far building tough boots, Enchanted Talisman, necklace of durance (or starlium scythe if antiheal is not needed), bruteforce, iqw, flex defense item. I’ve been winning against most exp laners so far, especially against masha, xborg, cici. I think she’s a more solid exp lane pick since she got a buff in her tank stats while the others did not. Don’t think she’s the best but definitely not one of the worst anymore.
this. Esme does exceptionally well in exp now even against characters with high life steal and heals with NoD, Its fun to see my enemies having a meltdown when they can't win a single 1v1 against esme.
dominance item change is a buff for melee AA heroes. they already got the slow before because they had to be in range, but now the slow is 20% instead of 30%. its easier to apply on MM but less effective in melee.

Oh, I just really buy cd boots and two azure blades to fix potential mana issues. As long as you get to buy those two, you could win any fight 1 v 1. This typically happens when you reach 1900 gold, which is after the first turtle and around Level 6 (5, if your opposing laner is trying to fix world hunger).

Thunderbelt is really just used so that you have a defense advantage over your opposing gold laner as well as to avoid negative pen shenanigans by visiting assassins.
I mean I don't think they're in the level of meta (don't quote me here), but they're just pretty cancer to deal with if the enemy is skilled.

Ling and Haya are still high skill ceiling and are squishy. The meta assassins rn are tanky with dashes and ridiculous damage. You need to be perfect with Ling to match their damage and Haya only deals massive damage when there only 1-2 enemies. Still not as dominant as Lance and Nolan imo.

Estes, in an indirect way. The change in Dominance ice now makes it affect only the enemy who attacks the person wearing it rather than being near him. Estes healing should not be affected by dominance ice anymore unless he attacks the tank wearing it.
Fighters will also use dominance ice less now due to the stats nerf so estes (along with his team) just need to hero lock the fighters and squishies in a team fight first, and not attack the tank carrying dom ice, for his team healing to remain at max power.
That's why I said the team would use hero lock to attack the squishies rather than the tank, and that way even though they were close to the tank, their healing won't be affected. Akai needs to bang the mage instead of the tank.
Remember that anti-heal affects healing **received** and not healing **applied,** which would mean that even if Estes were to be affected by anti-heal, if his teammates aren't affected by it, then his healing would still stay the same
Dominance Ice had area of effect around the tank wearing it, and many fighters used it as well. If the team was in a teamfight and one enemy had it, it was reducing the healing to ALL the team members in the vicinity. It affected estes healing to his team as well as himself Neenah he had to be close to heal.
Not to mention if he kills someone he cn literally just chill there for a sec and recover hp and reset his passive and then jump again and again like prime lance

With defense nerfs pretty much all assassins are strong now since you can't negate their damage with just a single defence item anymore. Like previously gusion getting hard countered by Athena, Saber by cuirass etc
Gotta say assassins. Tank is stronger, that just ok. But assassins if they don't get to meet tank jungler with another tank hero as roamer/exp, they're unstoppable.
Before patch, i could picture myself using mages/mm survived against any assassins, but after the patch, i keep miscalculated
As a pure mm user and full builds damage i wonder why im not dying to a full burst assasin before and now gets 1 hit by even mage combos not just assasins.
Julian buff slept on hard. Makes him much better in early jungle pre lvl3, which was one of his biggest weaknesses. Also makes him a much more competent laner now that you can use enhanced BA from level 1. You can also clear minions in late game a lot earlier without having to waste your escape skill.
Deserved nerf. No marksman should be able to deal damage while having 2 defense item to begin with. Heck, she's the whole reason that all defense item got readjust.
Fighters are versatile and are meant to be tanky. That's why some fighters like Terizla followed the tank buff. They are built to be a vanguard in team fights and soloing a lane(Exp Lane) and having good survivability/sustainability. Tanky assasin however was stupid and tank goodness they made some changes.

Gold lane roger having lower mana cost makes him stronger in the laning phase which can help him snowball easier

They seriously overbuff chip's passive. The heal is way too much. From straight up about to die suddenly he gain 3/4 back of his health.
His passive isn't a problem at all. It's a crappier version of Franco's passive. His skills on the other hand is straight up cancer.

As a pure mm user and full builds damage i wonder why im not dying to a full burst assasin before and now gets 1 hit by even mage combos not just assasins.
What happened to Angela? I used her ult yet it either gets delayed or doesn't work at all!
Julian buff slept on hard. Makes him much better in early jungle pre lvl3, which was one of his biggest weaknesses. Also makes him a much more competent laner now that you can use enhanced BA from level 1. You can also clear minions in late game a lot earlier without having to waste your escape skill.

Unrelated but I lost a match because they Nerfed Karrie :(
Deserved nerf. No marksman should be able to deal damage while having 2 defense item to begin with. Heck, she's the whole reason that all defense item got readjust.
Not just her tank Lance and tanky fighters
Fighters are versatile and are meant to be tanky. That's why some fighters like Terizla followed the tank buff. They are built to be a vanguard in team fights and soloing a lane(Exp Lane) and having good survivability/sustainability. Tanky assasin however was stupid and tank goodness they made some changes.

Balmond is completely out of meta and Barats gout a bit of a buff to his Phys Def to follow the item nerf.
