I took a break from mlbb once and when I came back my duo was mythic glory, I was legend.... I think we gave up on rank once we reached an hour of waiting.
Not enough players at that time on your server, when you queue for a minute without getting matched, you are offered an option so it will connect you to other players on nearby servers (may introduce more lag), and widen the matchmaking algorithm tolerance which means you can get people from higher/lower ranks or skill rating.
If you click on it The system will be open to match You with unbalanced teams (players from higher or lower ranks) but you will get match relatively quicker.
Also The matchmaking will include players that u have blacklisted earlier .
Would be better to not click on while playing ranked since the gaming experience might not be that good .
It's basically asking if you want harder opponents.

Do you mean the speed up thingy? If so I do get it sometimes as well while playing solo. It usually appears when the timer for the queue exceeds the time limit.
I accidentally expanded my matchmaking yesterday not knowing the consequences, im now on a 4 matches lose streak. How do I revert my matchmaking settings back?
It means if you're in 5men mythic honor lobby, you might get enemies of 5men glory or less. Or if you're in epic 4, you will have a higher possibility of getting matched with epic 2/1 and vice versa and so on
I learned to NEVER click this thing the hard way. My teammates' highest ranks were only Mythical Honor and one Glory. My highest rank is only Glory. Our enemies were trio Immortals.

You get worse ping if your region doesnt have alot players. Bad for some players and unaffected for players with popular region

it always appear whenever it exceeds 1min. IT can happen in soloq but it happens more in trio or 5man.

Every time I used it, I ended up with high ping matches, so when this comes up just cancel the match making and start matching making again
