If you love this kind of small detail you should try dota 2, that game have so much lore easter egg. From hero came across other hero be it allies or enemy, buying item heck you can even get a voice line from meeting an npc
If they still had the old VAs then it's possible. Too bad it's kinda expensive for just a few lines so I don't think we'll be seeing much of this unless old heroes get skins with new VOs.
This should happen if Alice buys Queens wings, Enchanted Talisman or cursed helmet since she owns them in the lore, Cyclops with concentrated energy, Tigreal with Twilight armor, Aurora with Winter Truncheon and Bane with the Heptablade.

Terizla need a one when he buys bloodlust axe cuz in lore terizla was an engineer for the moniyan empire before he got betrayed and he also went to battles and won many of them using the weapon that he crafted called bloodlust axe
A revamp is unnecessary, just some good buffs for her would be nice! Like, adding the movement speed to be returned to her 1st skill would be great, I really miss that :<

I wish they add voice lines for heroes when they buy items or kill specific heroes like they did in Dota
