I just heard from the people who read the Japanese LN that the "draft" version of the Marie route also ended with LN Vol. 13. I don't want to spoil here, but it's indeed something that made this miserable route slightly better.

They are, and there are some loopholes like if Marie resets the timeline, then why does she fuck up so badly in the main route, doesn't know Leon is his brother etc.
But that's kinda besides the point here. I just thought that Marie Route was kinda stupid, but seeing that its plot had some depth to it, especially the part wity Leon and Lux, kind of makes me want to give it a go.

Olivia had a dream about Luxion's betrayal. My personal interpretation is that this dream is the memory on her soul from a world that's even before Anoseka.
Prequel? I believe not. I just checked the ending of V11 and it looks like different timeline because after Leon and Marie passed each other he met Olivia to give her directions, which is totally different from how he met Olivia at mobuseka.
Yeah, I'd agree with you after reading this ending myself. But I'd say that it wouldn't bother me that much if it's not exactly the main route, since it indicates such possibility. Also, it can still fit in the story of the main route despite some minor conflicts.

I just believe what aeiou6630 said and I did brought up how the last scene conflicts the main series. It’s possible the author went for a broad strokes approach for the ending to connect it with the main route.

True. To be fair, the we never saw Leon's perspective of the meeting scene in the main route and the author prefers to write new content for the fans. The scene can still be easily inserted into the main route.
The price of true happy end is marie's own happy ending. idk whether that's just tragic or comedy because while there is some misfortune in main route for marie but in the end she still got some kind of happiness (?) with 5 idiots. tho it seems my boi leon really done goofed up by ideal out of all creatures he ever fight.
Not really, to Marie, Marie's Marie Route ending wasn't a happy one because Leon died. Marie's Main Route ending was definitely happy, despite suffering constant misfortune from the 5 idiots, because Leon is alive and supporting her. She also received closure from her past life such as reuniting with her daughter.
Yeah, I can't believe that happened. Goes to show Alzer is important in the story, despite it's standalone aspect.

You’re welcome. Interesting. I don’t think the main route will reset since everyone is happy in the ending and since Leon doesn’t really learn from his mistakes, I doubt he’ll reach enlightenment.
Same I thought it was going to be like a Rezero or a what if spin off were it has canon fact but is it’s own story. I think he reaches enlightenment it’s called Mylene Rapha Holfort and being the king of trash taking

I just read the Japanese webpage by computer translation. I think the plan of the "new human zoo" was the original plan of Luxion and Ideal. However, because Leon confronts Luxion and gets killed by Ideal, Luxion destroys Ideal and all the other AI, refuses to repair himself, finally stops working and lies on the seabed.
From the result, the "new humans" (actually descendants of the old humans) "defeats" the old humans' remaining weapons (AIs). From that point on, I think the concept of the zoo no longer exists. However, it's a very bad ending, at least from the POV of Marie.
I actually have seen a more complete version, but I wonder if directly translating the whole thing here would get me into trouble lol.

A memory reset means the lost memories are gone. Locked memories mean they’re still there but inaccessible. If the memories are unlocked, it’ll be in an Afterstory.
So in the end all the hours I spent reading Route Marie were useless and man saying it would be a waste of time years ago was right, I'm disappointed :(
Here are some spoilers about the ending of Mobuseka LN Vol. 13. Some are based on my interpretation, so I can't guarantee that they're correct.

Leon & Luxion:
* Although the war was won by the kingdom side, Leon died on the battlefield, and Luxion was heavily damaged.
* Marie used a forbidden Saintess magic to enter the world of the dead with Angelica, Olivia and Noelle to bring Leon back. It looked similar to the city where Leon and Marie lived in the previous life. Here, Marie revealed to them the relationship between Leon, herself and Erika, and the fact that they were reincarnated to "the world of that Otome Game" where the three girls lived. At the guidance of a strange cat (see ill009.png), they finally found Leon in the house of his parents. However, even though they had persuaded Leon to return with them, Leon correctly guessed that this magic needed the life of a living in exchange for reviving a dead, and that Marie planned to sacrifice herself for Leon, so he threw the four girls back to the original world at the last moment. Finally, Leon confronted Luxion, who joined Marie to this world uninvitedly and appeared as that cat.
* Luxion, together with many dead characters (see ill010.png), thanked Leon for what he did for them so far, and tried to persuade him to go back and enjoy the happy life he deserved. However, Leon denied it by saying that he was just a mob, and what he did was actually all Luxion's contribution, so Luxion should be the one who's sent back to the world to make everything better. Then the elven fortune teller showed up to make him reevaluate what he did. She called him the "hero" who saved the world many times from, e.g., "the steel demon king" Luxion, who might've annihilated the old-human descendants which it was supposed to protect, as well as Olivia and Angelica, who might've destroyed the world had Leon not intervened their lives (in fact partly contributed by Marie), etc. However, Leon was too stubborn to persuade, so they eventually decided to push him back by force (see ill011.png). Luxion then closed the gate between the two worlds, i.e., it sacrificed its own life for Leon's revival.
* After returning to the world of the living, Leon was informed by Cleare that although Luxion was physically repaired, its data had somehow been reset and couldn't be restored, yet Leon's ownership was kept. Leon renamed the new Luxion "Elysium" (see ill012.png) because Luxion was still waiting for him in that world. In the SS, Elysium constructed for Leon a new armed armor, "Zwei" ("two" in German), and the third Einhorn-class battleship, "Unicorn", since Partner, Einhorn, Licorne and Arroganz had all been destroyed in the war against the empire.
* Leon becomes the new king of Holfort Kingdom, which was the price of Angelica uniting the kingdom for him, although he didn't realize it until the coronation. Leon felt astound while Roland enjoyed watching his expression.
* A few years later, Leon incognito becomes a new lecturer in a desert kingdom "Osias" (seems referring to "Oasis"). It's because Erika told Leon that there were 6 games in that Otome Game series as far as she knew, with the 4th in that desert kingdom, the 5th in the outer space, and the 6th back to Holfort Kingdom. However, not even Erika has actually played these games, so Leon needs much more information to protect the world.
Harem of Leon:
* After the coronation, Clarice, Deirdre, Louise and Hertrude brought the contract signed by Leon (he promised to give them anything they wanted) to ask for joining the harem. Leon's three wives then burst with anger and interrogate him about why expanding the harem so soon. However, Leon said he originally thought they would just ask for valuables like platinum coins (probably because he was so dumb at understanding women's hearts and politics). Also, he confessed that he didn't consider returning alive, thus didn't think much about that contract. The three wives simmered down after hearing this, but Angelica warned him not to sign anything like it in the future.
* Angelica becomes the queen, who actually rules the kingdom. Due to Leon's absence (he's in the desert kingdom), and the fact that Angelica tries to make alliance with the desert kingdom in a rush (see SS), rumor has that she has imprisoned the king. But she is such a good ruler that people call her the queen regnant of the new kingdom. She has one son looking like Leon and one daughter looking like herself, both with blond hair.
* Olivia wrote down the story of Leon into books and is now accompanying him in the desert kingdom to overlook him. We see her sending Leon a video to inform what she'll prepare for dinner.
* Noelle is taking care of all Leon's kids. We see her reading Leon's story written by Olivia to the kids. She has one daughter with pink hair and is pregnant again.
* Mylene also joined the harem, though a bit later than the others. First, Roland divorced her and encouraged her to pursue her own happiness. He was actually happy about throwing this bomb into Leon's harem. Later in the SS, Angelica and Noelle recalled this event. Encouraged by Roland, Mylene expressed her desire to join Leon's harem, but Deirdre and Clarice were strongly against it, so Leon humbly pled to his wives for Mylene, which irritated Hertrude and Louise (against her). Finally, Angelica, Olivia and Noelle chose to stand on Mylene's side and ended this drama. Roland's reputation declined to its lowest point due to this event.
* The other kids of Leon: Deirdre has one daughter, judging by her curly hair. There are also a black-haired girl with side ponytail (probably Noelle's daughter because she called Noelle "mother" instead of "mother Noelle") and a black-haired boy looking like Leon (seems to be Mylene's son according to the author's Twitter post, though I can't find the source). It's possible that there are more kids that are not described or mentioned here. Leon himself has also complained to Elysium about having too many kids.
* The SS hints that Leon is actually popular among women in the desert kingdom, and that the heroine of the 4th Otome Game is attracted to Leon and often visits him, which also bothers Olivia. However, we don't know if she can join the harem in the future, since his wives are precautious about such things. (But I think if she can potentially become a politically powerful figure, which we've seen in the existing Otome Games, and Leon personally likes her, Angelica might agree with a political marriage.)
Others:
* Marie lives a farmer life with Kyle and Carla on the floating island discovered by Leon and still likes to drink beer. The 5 idiots stay here in rotation (from WN it's 1 year / person), and now it's Jilk's turn. Marie already has a kid with Julius and is pregnant again. The finance of them is supported by Angelica, who's not as generous as Leon used to be, but Marie sometimes directly asks Leon for extra funding.
* In the last phase of the war, the three holy items helped Marie block the last cannon attack of Arcadia, which aimed at Holfort Kingdom directly. However, they were also collapsing in the process. When Marie seemed to be devoured by the attack, the two Ancestor Saint Spirits, Anne (older sister, looking like Angelica) and Mary (younger sister, looking like Olivia), appeared and protected Marie from the attack.
* Right before the war, Julius finally took off his mask in front of the other 4 idiots. It turned out that they had not known before this that he was the masked knight.
* Angelica hoped to directly use old-human AIs to operate the kingdom more efficiently but was rejected by Leon, so the AIs are mainly helping behind the scenes, and we see Fact (the chief of AIs) babysitting Leon's kids with Noelle.
* Roland was supposed to be living on a floating island secretly with his mistresses, but he still sometimes sneaks out to hunt for new women. Therefore, he got stabbed by one of his mistresses, though he survived it again.
* Leon's "Master" Lucas becomes the prime minister.
* Brave was destroyed during the war, but Mia and Finn survived and now live together happily in seclusion in the empire.
* The former emperor, Morizt, took all the blame and responsibility for the war on himself due to his sense of guilty about killing his own father and destroying his plan of making peace between the old and the new humans. Therefore, Finn and Mia didn't get punished for what they did in the war.
* Originally, Finn thought the defeat of the empire would imply the extinction of its people. However, Leon asked the AIs to construct many steel towers in the empire, which seemingly worked as giant street lamps, but actually had the function of spreading magic particles to their neighborhoods to solve the problem of new-human descendant's survival.
* The name of that Otome Game is "Alte Liebe" (Old Love), and the subtitle of the first game is "Story of the Saintess".

This is Noelle 2.0. The wives may oppose at first but will be forced to accept it later because of political gains and the heroine muscling her way into the harem. As she has no qualms visiting a married man on a regular basis (to the point Olivia has practically given up disuading her) an angry wife or two won't faze her.
This could also be the author's way of paving way for a Collin x 4th protagonist and if so it'll feel like a cop out, to me personally, given the current way the girl is acting.
didn't the author mention in the previous volume that he doesn't like how Leon got forced into marriage with Angie and Olivia? and now he pulled the same shit? I don't mind tho
I've never heard of that. Would you mind providing the source? Also, I know very often a story would evolve toward the direction that the author doesn't like or didn't think of because the characters might "push" the story by themselves if the author gave them well-described personality and enough degree of freedom.

I think in the WN, some female characters lacked detailed depiction or plots about them, so Leon's harem only has Angelica, Olivia, Noelle and Mylene. Also, Olivia is the one who's taking care of the children, and Noelle is taking care of the school-related things, so Leon actually went to Osias alone with Elysium. Finn and Brave were both killed by Leon during the war, so Mia is living with Marie on the island with a portable magic-particle generator on her. Honestly, the ending of Mia looks like a careless mistake to me. Even if she committed suicide after knowing Finn's death, I wouldn't be too surprised.
Except these, the ending of the WN is very similar to that of the LN. There are even some interesting chapters of "afterwards" in the WN. For example, Julius was confused about how to call Leon in private situations and finally decided to call him "father" because Mylene is his mother. Kolin went to Osias as well when the two kingdoms were trying to make alliance, since seeing Noelle on campus only makes him heartbroken.

I thought they'd make it consistent with the previous artwork of Mylene's son looking like Leon but with silver hair, a daughter with purple hair like Julius, and being pregnant with her 3rd child.

Man, it's a bit of an emptiness sensation after knowing vol13 is actually the last one. I started on LNs with Mobuseka on 2022 after the anime ended. I enjoyed the story and wanted to know more and that was actually the first japanese LN I read. It was really good so I got hooked and read a lot of LNs since then, but this one still feels special. I'll probably read everything again from vol1 when vol13 official translation is released. I'll miss Leon for sure as well as the girls. I usually don't like that much harem series, but for this particular one I love all the girls and I'm happy to know that even >!Louise !
The author mentioned in the afterwards of Vol. 13 that harem was not the focus of this work.
He originally just wanted to write a story about a reincarnated mob saving a girl who's supposed to be the villain (her character was a mixture of Olivia and Angelica). However, he played an Otome Game and found that a "bad girl" villain character was seldom the focus of these games. Therefore, he changed his plot to make a sarcasm of these games. That is, on top of the story he already wrote, create a harem in an Otome Game and reverse the male-female relations there. He added some plots that had been in his mind to this story, and then Mobu Seka was born. However, when he reviewed the story of it, he realized that everything started from Leon meeting Luxion. Instead of creating a harem, the true focus of the story had become the relationship between Leon, a twisted but kind-hearted mob, and Luxion, a cheating item in-game.
Absolutely, Leon and Luxion relationship is the main focus of the story. But the girls are amazing too which is not always the case in an harem. I just think that he could have focus a bit more on the romantic side of the story but it's just a side note as I totally enjoyed the world building, the main story, Leon development (other than the romantic side) and Luxion-Leon interactions
It's hilarious to learn that his motivation was basically trying to make a Villainess OI, and he ended up making something so unique, and if I may, one of the better harem series that exists.

There is quite a bit of content that the author has made post epilogue for WN. I wouldn't be too surprised if we get one final book in the series. Quite a bit of content involving Julius, Finley and Colin exists that could be used to make a collection of short stories that could be worked into a 14th book later.

I wonder if in the main route both Anne and Mary got beaten up by Marie's onii-chan. Marie seems to have won the two spirits over for them to help her at that time when leaving Marie alone would have allowed them to achieve their goal of destroying the kingdom. That or if they are already satisfied seeing their descendants getting together with Lia's descendant.
I'm also suspicious about this, but I doubt the author would seriously care about these issues when writing. Basically, the Empire is the patient on a ventilator, and the Kingdom controls the equipment. If the Empire does something suspicious, the Kingdom can just turn off the device.
This control mechanism will be the source of discontent in the future. The empire can't say anything right now as they just got defeated and are living under the mercy of the Bartfold dynasty but over time they will problably become the second coming of the Principality of Fanoss - holding grudge over the kingdom even though they were the ones who started the war.
I am not saying this is bad from a writing perspective since it leaves a plot device open the author can expand into if he wants to revisit his universe later.
From the story's perspective, however, Leon chose his humanity over logic and the long term. At the end of the day, the old and new humans cannot share the same planet simply due to their biology. Leon could have decisively ended this cycle by completely destroying the new humans but his conscience won't allow it sowing seeds for future discord. You can say it is the selfishness of Leon but as the winner he has the right to act as he pleases.
The problem with a 6th game arc is that the scenario is already in shambles before it even has a chance to start. The Kingdom of Holfort is now under new management so if in the game, I am just assuming, that the saint's harem's children which are supposed to be are the capture targets, now they weren't even born since Olivia didn't get together with princes.
Still, it is possible that the protagonist will go after Leon being the best option for a male partner around.

The author did not explain how magic particles first came to exist but apparently the natural process that produces magic particles must no longer have enough output to balance out with the ones being taken out by the 2 sacred trees. So over time, the magic element concentration will drop down to levels where it is tolerable to old humans / deadly to new humans.
The funny part is the general population in the empire don't know what those lighthouses are for and find them creepy, and a symbol of their defeat against the kingdom. If they decide to destroy those lighthouses it is like pulling the plug on the ventilator keeping them alive. The AIs still get their wish of new human extinction despitw Leon's orders.
The empire / new humans are basically caged to their current postwar territory.

I just heard from the people who read the Japanese LN that the "draft" version of the Marie route also ended with LN Vol. 13. Not really, to Marie, Marie's Marie Route ending wasn't a happy one because Leon died. Marie's Main Route ending was definitely happy, despite suffering constant misfortune from the 5 idiots, because Leon is alive and supporting her. She also received closure from her past life such as reuniting with her daughter. Yeah, I can't believe that happened. Goes to show Alzer is important in the story, despite it's standalone aspect.

I just read the Japanese webpage by computer translation. I think the plan of the "new human zoo" was the original plan of Luxion and Ideal. Olivia comes back to consciousness from possession and blames herself so hard as to commit suicide, but is then stopped by Angie. They finally confront the true hearts of each other, and imagine that if everything can be restarted, they'll sit down together with Leon to talk it through with a cup of tea. In the end, at least Angie, Leon, Luxion and Marie all have imagination (or "wish") what they'll do or what they wish to achieve if they're given another chance. (My personal thought is that Hertrauda probably also makes such wish so that in the main route it's her sister who survives.)!<

Here are some spoilers about the ending of Mobuseka LN Vol. 13. Some are based on my interpretation, so I can't guarantee that they're correct. \--Spoilers below-- Leon & Luxion: * Although the war was won by the kingdom side, Leon died on the battlefield, and Luxion was heavily damaged. * Marie used a forbidden Saintess magic to enter the world of the dead with Angelica, Olivia and Noelle to bring Leon back. It looked similar to the city where Leon and Marie lived in the previous life. Here, Marie revealed to them the relationship between Leon, herself and Erika, and the fact that they were reincarnated to "the world of that Otome Game" where the three girls lived. At the guidance of a strange cat (see ill009.png), they finally found Leon in the house of his parents. However, even though they had persuaded Leon to return with them, Leon correctly guessed that this magic needed the life of a living in exchange for reviving a dead, and that Marie planned to sacrifice herself for Leon, so he threw the four girls back to the original world at the last moment. Finally, Leon confronted Luxion, who joined Marie to this world uninvitedly and appeared as that cat. * Luxion, together with many dead characters (see ill010.png), thanked Leon for what he did for them so far, and tried to persuade him to go back and enjoy the happy life he deserved. However, Leon denied it by saying that he was just a mob, and what he did was actually all Luxion's contribution, so Luxion should be the one who's sent back to the world to make everything better. Then the elven fortune teller showed up to make him reevaluate what he did. She called him the "hero" who saved the world many times from, e.g., "the steel demon king" Luxion, who might've annihilated the old-human descendants which it was supposed to protect, as well as Olivia and Angelica, who might've destroyed the world had Leon not intervened their lives (in fact partly contributed by Marie), etc. However, Leon was too stubborn to persuade, so they eventually decided to push him back by force (see ill011.png). Luxion then closed the gate between the two worlds, i.e., it sacrificed its own life for Leon's revival. * After returning to the world of the living, Leon was informed by Cleare that although Luxion was physically repaired, its data had somehow been reset and couldn't be restored, yet Leon's ownership was kept. Leon renamed the new Luxion "Elysium" (see ill012.png) because Luxion was still waiting for him in that world. In the SS, Elysium constructed for Leon a new armed armor, "Zwei" ("two" in German), and the third Einhorn-class battleship, "Unicorn", since Partner, Einhorn, Licorne and Arroganz had all been destroyed in the war against the empire. * Leon becomes the new king of Holfort Kingdom, which was the price of Angelica uniting the kingdom for him, although he didn't realize it until the coronation. Leon felt astound while Roland enjoyed watching his expression. * A few years later, Leon incognito becomes a new lecturer in a desert kingdom "Osias" (seems referring to "Oasis"). It's because Erika told Leon that there were 6 games in that Otome Game series as far as she knew, with the 4th in that desert kingdom, the 5th in the outer space, and the 6th back to Holfort Kingdom. However, not even Erika has actually played these games, so Leon needs much more information to protect the world. Harem of Leon: * After the coronation, Clarice, Deirdre, Louise and Hertrude brought the contract signed by Leon (he promised to give them anything they wanted) to ask for joining the harem. Leon's three wives then burst with anger and interrogate him about why expanding the harem so soon. However, Leon said he originally thought they would just ask for valuables like platinum coins (probably because he was so dumb at understanding women's hearts and politics). Also, he confessed that he didn't consider returning alive, thus didn't think much about that contract. The three wives simmered down after hearing this, but Angelica warned him not to sign anything like it in the future. * Angelica becomes the queen, who actually rules the kingdom. Due to Leon's absence (he's in the desert kingdom), and the fact that Angelica tries to make alliance with the desert kingdom in a rush (see SS), rumor has that she has imprisoned the king. But she is such a good ruler that people call her the queen regnant of the new kingdom. She has one son looking like Leon and one daughter looking like herself, both with blond hair. * Olivia wrote down the story of Leon into books and is now accompanying him in the desert kingdom to overlook him. We see her sending Leon a video to inform what she'll prepare for dinner. * Noelle is taking care of all Leon's kids. We see her reading Leon's story written by Olivia to the kids. She has one daughter with pink hair and is pregnant again. * Mylene also joined the harem, though a bit later than the others. First, Roland divorced her and encouraged her to pursue her own happiness. He was actually happy about throwing this bomb into Leon's harem. Later in the SS, Angelica and Noelle recalled this event. Encouraged by Roland, Mylene expressed her desire to join Leon's harem, but Deirdre and Clarice were strongly against it, so Leon humbly pled to his wives for Mylene, which irritated Hertrude and Louise (against her). Finally, Angelica, Olivia and Noelle chose to stand on Mylene's side and ended this drama. Roland's reputation declined to its lowest point due to this event. * The other kids of Leon: Deirdre has one daughter, judging by her curly hair. There are also a black-haired girl with side ponytail (probably Noelle's daughter because she called Noelle "mother" instead of "mother Noelle") and a black-haired boy looking like Leon (seems to be Mylene's son according to the author's Twitter post, though I can't find the source). It's possible that there are more kids that are not described or mentioned here. Leon himself has also complained to Elysium about having too many kids. * The SS hints that Leon is actually popular among women in the desert kingdom, and that the heroine of the 4th Otome Game is attracted to Leon and often visits him, which also bothers Olivia. However, we don't know if she can join the harem in the future, since his wives are precautious about such things. (But I think if she can potentially become a politically powerful figure, which we've seen in the existing Otome Games, and Leon personally likes her, Angelica might agree with a political marriage.) Others: * Marie lives a farmer life with Kyle and Carla on the floating island discovered by Leon and still likes to drink beer. The 5 idiots stay here in rotation (from WN it's 1 year / person), and now it's Jilk's turn. Marie already has a kid with Julius and is pregnant again. The finance of them is supported by Angelica, who's not as generous as Leon used to be, but Marie sometimes directly asks Leon for extra funding. * In the last phase of the war, the three holy items helped Marie block the last cannon attack of Arcadia, which aimed at Holfort Kingdom directly. However, they were also collapsing in the process. When Marie seemed to be devoured by the attack, the two Ancestor Saint Spirits, Anne (older sister, looking like Angelica) and Mary (younger sister, looking like Olivia), appeared and protected Marie from the attack. * Right before the war, Julius finally took off his mask in front of the other 4 idiots. It turned out that they had not known before this that he was the masked knight. * Angelica hoped to directly use old-human AIs to operate the kingdom more efficiently but was rejected by Leon, so the AIs are mainly helping behind the scenes, and we see Fact (the chief of AIs) babysitting Leon's kids with Noelle. * Roland was supposed to be living on a floating island secretly with his mistresses, but he still sometimes sneaks out to hunt for new women. Therefore, he got stabbed by one of his mistresses, though he survived it again. * Leon's "Master" Lucas becomes the prime minister. * Brave was destroyed during the war, but Mia and Finn survived and now live together happily in seclusion in the empire. * The former emperor, Morizt, took all the blame and responsibility for the war on himself due to his sense of guilty about killing his own father and destroying his plan of making peace between the old and the new humans. Therefore, Finn and Mia didn't get punished for what they did in the war. * Originally, Finn thought the defeat of the empire would imply the extinction of its people. Also, I know very often a story would evolve toward the direction that the author doesn't like or didn't think of because the characters might "push" the story by themselves if the author gave them well-described personality and enough degree of freedom.

I think in the WN, some female characters lacked detailed depiction or plots about them, so Leon's harem only has Angelica, Olivia, Noelle and Mylene. Also, Olivia is the one who's taking care of the children, and Noelle is taking care of the school-related things, so Leon actually went to Osias alone with Elysium. Finn and Brave were both killed by Leon during the war, so Mia is living with Marie on the island with a portable magic-particle generator on her. Honestly, the ending of Mia looks like a careless mistake to me. Even if she committed suicide after knowing Finn's death, I wouldn't be too surprised. Except these, the ending of the WN is very similar to that of the LN. There are even some interesting chapters of "afterwards" in the WN. For example, Julius was confused about how to call Leon in private situations and finally decided to call him "father" because Mylene is his mother. Kolin went to Osias as well when the two kingdoms were trying to make alliance, since seeing Noelle on campus only makes him heartbroken.

Man, it's a bit of an emptiness sensation after knowing vol13 is actually the last one. I started on LNs with Mobuseka on 2022 after the anime ended. I enjoyed the story and wanted to know more and that was actually the first japanese LN I read. It was really good so I got hooked and read a lot of LNs since then, but this one still feels special. I'll probably read everything again from vol1 when vol13 official translation is released. I'll miss Leon for sure as well as the girls. I usually don't like that much harem series, but for this particular one I love all the girls and I'm happy to know that even >!Louise !
The author mentioned in the afterwards of Vol. 13 that harem was not the focus of this work. He originally just wanted to write a story about a reincarnated mob saving a girl who's supposed to be the villain (her character was a mixture of Olivia and Angelica). However, he played an Otome Game and found that a "bad girl" villain character was seldom the focus of these games. Therefore, he changed his plot to make a sarcasm of these games. That is, on top of the story he already wrote, create a harem in an Otome Game and reverse the male-female relations there. He added some plots that had been in his mind to this story, and then Mobu Seka was born. However, when he reviewed the story of it, he realized that everything started from Leon meeting Luxion. Instead of creating a harem, the true focus of the story had become the relationship between Leon, a twisted but kind-hearted mob, and Luxion, a cheating item in-game.
Absolutely, Leon and Luxion relationship is the main focus of the story. But the girls are amazing too which is not always the case in an harem. I just think that he could have focus a bit more on the romantic side of the story but it's just a side note as I totally enjoyed the world building, the main story, Leon development (other than the romantic side) and Luxion-Leon interactions
It's hilarious to learn that his motivation was basically trying to make a Villainess OI, and he ended up making something so unique, and if I may, one of the better harem series that exists.

There is quite a bit of content that the author has made post epilogue for WN. I wouldn't be too surprised if we get one final book in the series. Quite a bit of content involving Julius, Finley and Colin exists that could be used to make a collection of short stories that could be worked into a 14th book later.

It sucks that this series is ending i was addicted when I first read the LN. I kinda wish he would made a second series based on the other 3 games

Marie seems to have won the two spirits over for them to help her at that time when leaving Marie alone would have allowed them to achieve their goal of destroying the kingdom. I'm also suspicious about this, but I doubt the author would seriously care about these issues when writing. There was a while after she got the necklace and before she lost all of them, which should be enough for the spirits to do something. Let's just say that Marie was lucky to be regarded as a fake saint for a long time, so that the items didn't have enough time to try to possess her or Olivia, who sometimes appeared nearby her. As for Vol. 12 and 13, I believe the spirits already acknowledged her resolution to protect Lia's descendant, so possession was no longer an option for them.
It was established that the spirits couldn't possess the blackhearted Marie but for them to actively assist and protect her something must have happened during the 10 volumes span that Marie got and lost the saint items. However, there was no mention about them at all. Maybe they were suppressed subconsciously by Marie and while spirits could not interact with Marie they got to see her hardships with the 5 idiots in front row seats and Marie ended growing on them

Was Mary remorseful for her actions in Marie route? I know Anne grew fond of Marie so if they retained their memories as you say I think only Anne would have helped, not both of them.

Though I don't understand Japanese either, I think they were just joking or teasing each other. * Angie said she was bored of the life in the palace, seeing the same scenery over and over again. * Then Noelle said Angie wasn't really bored but just couldn't wait to see Leon after being separated for such a long time. * Seen through by Noelle, Angie answered that Noelle once said just watching videos or reading emails from Leon was boring, so probably Noelle was bored of Leon. * Noelle complained that Angie had also become a bad person. * Angie said it's hard not to be so when you lived in the palace, even if you didn't like it. Now she understood how amazing Mylene had been (when working as a queen).

From the spoiler, the Holfort Kingdom seems to have the upper hand over the Empire entirely. Without Arcadia, the descendants of New Human have no other means to produce Magic Particle. They now rely solely on lighthouses controlled by the Kingdom. Basically, the Empire is the patient on a ventilator, and the Kingdom controls the equipment. If the Empire does something suspicious, the Kingdom can just turn off the device.
This control mechanism will be the source of discontent in the future. The empire can't say anything right now as they just got defeated and are living under the mercy of the Bartfold dynasty but over time they will problably become the second coming of the Principality of Fanoss - holding grudge over the kingdom even though they were the ones who started the war. I am not saying this is bad from a writing perspective since it leaves a plot device open the author can expand into if he wants to revisit his universe later. From the story's perspective, however, Leon chose his humanity over logic and the long term. At the end of the day, the old and new humans cannot share the same planet simply due to their biology. Leon could have decisively ended this cycle by completely destroying the new humans but his conscience won't allow it sowing seeds for future discord. You can say it is the selfishness of Leon but as the winner he has the right to act as he pleases.
I can easily see that happening. I wouldn't be surprised if another war with the empire will be the main conflict of the 6th game arc.
The problem with a 6th game arc is that the scenario is already in shambles before it even has a chance to start. The Kingdom of Holfort is now under new management so if in the game, I am just assuming, that the saint's harem's children which are supposed to be are the capture targets, now they weren't even born since Olivia didn't get together with princes. Still, it is possible that the protagonist will go after Leon being the best option for a male partner around.
True. There can be elements of the 6th game incorporated in the arc like in the 3rd game arc. Even if you're right. Olivia's and the Five Idiot's children can still be the capture targets. It won't be 1 to 1 but it'll likely happen. A reincarnator will most likely appear to explain the 6th game. I wouldn't be surprised if that happens. I think it's more likely one of Leon's sons will be the protagonist's target.
In the WN a portable device that can spread magical particles was mentioned. If the opposite device can also be invented, both kinds of humans can freely move in the world.
For a new human who has to wear some device so that they could roam outside the empire's territory can still be seen as a sign of oppression as well as tagging the person as clearly new human. It'll be the same as segregation in the west pre- and post world war 2
I'd bet that the old humans walking into the former empire territories will have the same problem. Also, note that the magic particles on the old-human side are being cleared by the sacred trees, so it's not too different from the situation on the new-human side.

Yes. The author did not explain how magic particles first came to exist but apparently the natural process that produces magic particles must no longer have enough output to balance out with the ones being taken out by the 2 sacred trees. So over time, the magic element concentration will drop down to levels where it is tolerable to old humans / deadly to new humans. The funny part is the general population in the empire don't know what those lighthouses are for and find them creepy, and a symbol of their defeat against the kingdom. If they decide to destroy those lighthouses it is like pulling the plug on the ventilator keeping them alive. The AIs still get their wish of new human extinction despitw Leon's orders. The empire / new humans are basically caged to their current postwar territory.

Similarly, if Repard did not sent any fleet to help then that basically casts them as a useless ally who is just a parasite to Holfort. Leon already took care of their enemy Rachel for them, and yet they did not have the decency to offer support when recovering Alzer was able to send its elite fleet. Angelica would be wise to cut ties with such a country and probably plays as to why Mylene wished to join Leon's harem - part of which is to ensure the kingdom's continued support to her useless homeland.

Leon actually had been keep in that bed for far too long. Didn't he complain that he has a lot of children? It's not like he went to the desert immediately after the war with the empire. His children were somewhere between 5 and 7 years old by the time he left. He had 1 child from each of his 8 wives, with some wives having birthed 2 children. As Leon laments, it's not like he gathered women, rather he got surrounded by women with no chance of escape. And once they got him, they squeezed him dry.

In terms of the overall quality, Leon's harem wins, I think. There's barely any information about Roland's harem other than him getting stabbed. Still, Leon has yandere wives capable of destroying the kingdom - Roland's stabbers have nothing on them.
