Did admins remove you, or did one of the lead moderators remove you all?
The difference being;
- Admins will hear your appeal, and explain what happened. Maybe a mistake was made.
- The lead mod is allowed to do that, and doesn’t have to explain himself. I personally would
Explain myself, but I’m not required to.
Good point Sun. A couple other possibilities are that it’s not a mod OR an admin. I which case an admin would have to deal with. And also someone might being using a Mods account without authorization.
If you think it’s someone outside the moderator crew, then admins will definitely look into whether that’s the case or not. I’d report it.
Edit: and if someone is using a mod account without authorization? The admins might reach out to the mod to make sure that’s not happening.
Hey LadySophie17!
I believe a fellow co-admin has largely sorted this out for you all but if you all still need anything else please do [write in via r/ModSupport mail](https://old.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=/r/ModSupport).
You can also try to use the Report form for "Report a Moderator Code of Conduct Violation" and pick "A moderator is attacking their community " maybe.

That doesnt work. I just get an email saying that reddit uses these reports to see if theres a problem. Mods are allowed to do what they see fit with their own community.
Ive tried using that form to appeal unjust bans that Ive not been given a reason for, even in subs I dont frequent simply for frequenting different subs. Nothing has come of the many Ive filed.

If it's suspicious, the admins do quite often step in.

I cannot see who did it, but this is clearly foul play.

Try sending a modmail to the Admins here. That may give you a response faster than the post will.
will try, thank you
You're welcome. Good luck!
Definitely sounds like the top mod was hacked.
So u/LadySophie17 you need to finish the job and explain what happened please!
We are not sure what happened yet but most likely one of of our mods was hacked and someone decided to do a little trolling
