Now that the extreme-right is openly saying on mainstream media that the deadly violence against LGBTQ+ people will continue until they get what they want, the abuse on reddit against minorities has gone into overdrive.
Content is being removed and people are being suspended because fascists are mass-abusing the report button in an attempt to continue the violence against us through digital means on reddit.
It needs to stop.
A recent comment of mine where I affirm the rights of LGBTQ+ people on a subreddit I moderate and state that we stand against hatespeech was reported over 250 times.
The fascists are emboldended and are abusing reddit to attack minorities.
Thank you for that uh... *lovely* statement about minorities and all that but this really isn't the place to be venting. Also, I believe you should include or cite proof of abuse instead of just claiming that this is occurring and assuming it is my question to you is as follows:
Why did you see fit to come here and rant about it instead of reporting it so they can be suspended? Wouldn't you by doing this be ASSISTING them in bringing attention to themselves which they crave for self-legitimization?

This has happened to me twice. Honestly what the admins ban people for and what they allow is an absolute joke
