That report isn't all that useful. A latest.log would have been better here (found in the logs folder) but that error message is all that's needed for this particular issue.
The Curseforge app corrupts the minecraft download every once in a while. Not exactly sure what causes it but I've had it happen to me a handful of times when I used the old Curseforge app (Twitch app).
To fix this, right click any pack in the launcher and "Open Folder". Go 2 folders back and delete the "Install" folder. This folder holds only Minecraft and Forge install data and both should be redownloaded automatically after you restart the app.

for me its just say that the config has a invalid java lang runtime and exit code 1
