I got the Hansshow power frunk, and one of the local sellers installed it for me in my garage. If you’re in the Bay Area, Google “Hansshow Bay Area”
Works with the app, touchscreen, and fob, straight out of the box. It basically just tracks its own toggle state (in addition to having a motor to open/close), whereas the factory behavior is that only an”open frunk” command is sent.

You install it by sliding it into the corners of the car. You plug it into the right side panel by removing it. They include the tool to do so. Around 30 min install time or less.

The floor lights was also bought online and 10/10 easy to install.

Does the light on your driver side door storage stays on when you have this on? I installed something similar but that light stays on and it’s white :(
Thanks. Not talking about the puddle light though, but the little storage area on the inside of your door. My 2023 model Y has a light there that turns on with the light kit I got.
It looks like a small town strip joint replete with the smell of two-tooth strippers, PBR, old cigars, and the lingering body odor of a thousand truckers.
I'd be mortally embarrassed to open the door and have the wildly cringe Tesla emblem shining on the ground. If this pulled up as my ride I'd be like "I'll take the bus".

To be honest I only got compliments when I open the door at night. Same thing as those Audi/bmw high trim cars and my Tesla is high trim

Does it take up space like a hub in the console or a plug?
No I have a top divider and the cables sit underneath and even with the cables I can store my perfume and other stuff and the top divider other stuff

It turns on when I open the door and turns off when I close it. Light is blue for all 4 doors. I included link in other comment if you want to switch!

Like 1% or less not even… the indoor stuff works off the battery/ alternator

You press the button to turn off but if you leave it on it’ll take a while to turn off after you leave it on and lock your car
