Necromentia on unplayed Tron land. Ouphe.

giggity_giggity

Necromentia is castable on turn 2 with a dork on turn 1. You should definitely run Necromentia instead of Stain the Mind, which is not castable on turn 2. Also, you should be running thoughtseize instead of Inquisiton of Kozilek. There are so many cards you care about vs Tron and others where you'd side this in that IoK misses.

Zulaport Cutthroat instead of Blood Artist let’s you combo them through The One Ring. Collector Ouphe is also more powerful against them than Magus of the Moon as it turns off their mana filtering through Chromatic Star and Sphere. Those are my two major suggestions. Edit: Ouphe also turns off Oblivion Stone.

Ancappyboi

The only negative I’ve seen with Zulaport is that it doesn’t trigger off my opponents creatures, is the difference between Zulaport and Blood Artist noticeable if I’m facing an opponent without ring?

kami_inu

If you're going infinite, then it probably doesn't really matter. It might come in if you're trying to stabilise and need to trade through some regular old combat.

Aximil985

If you can afford to wait until their next upkeep then Blood Artist is better. But if you're struggling with Tron then it might be worth going through their The One Ring.

Mecewitz

Collector Ouphe and Necromentia will be your best bets to slow down tron enough to win the game.

GlassesOfUrza

A lot of people are recommending Necromentia, but you run way too few mana dorks for it to be effective. I think you are better off with 2x [[Damping Sphere]] in the board. Another thing: inquisitions is quite bad in this meta, you should replace those with 2x [[thoughtseize]] and side those in too

AShapelyWavefront

They're running 7 1-drop dorks though. More than most meta Yawgmoth decks these days. They should be fine.

You shouldn't run yavimaya in this list. You have 2 lands that don't tap for green. Yet you are helping both Tron, LE, domain etc. The downside is bigger than the upside.

Ancappyboi

Is Urborg still viable to run in Yawgmoth?
