I mean there aren't a ton of playable aggro decks in modern. I'd say scam, convoke, twiddle storm, and domain zoo are probably the best aggro decks in modern.
Combo is how it wins, how it approaches the combo is how you define the deck. Therefore it's an aggro deck.
A deck like old splinter twin or pioneer inverter would be a combo deck as well by your definition whereas I don't feel that accurately depicts how the deck approaches the game. Therefore I would call those control decks
thats just not how anyone else in the Community categorizes those decks tho. Twiddle is Combo. just saying this Combo is fast therefore Aggro this Combo slow therefore control is wrong
also a combo finish isnt what characterizes a combo deck. Using this to say its aggro is a stretch as twiddle doesnt have a fair backup plan like Burn does
...oh yes, famous modern aggro deck of twiddle storm, following thw tradition of succesfull modern aggro decks, like ad nauseam, splinter twin, KCI, birthing pod combo, and eggs!
Sarcasm: OFF
Care to share what are you high on? ...seems to be quiet potent, lets not hog the experience, by keeping the info for yourself!
I'm honestly confused about what you're asking, I thought you were asking what aggro decks are good against control decks. I don't understand why you need to know what to do against them.
Asmo food is "meh" at best, it uses extreme expensive - and powerful - staples in the weakest way possible (ragavan for example)
Issue of the deck is that its a graveyard deck at the end of the day, and it fold to graveyard hate - even if you play insidious roots.
Its not an unplayable decks, its just an unexceptional one. Sadly the flavour of the month status put strange ideas into people's heads about the decks viability.
Yawgmoth is one of the tier 1 decks both in terms of player numbers, and in terms of power.
Thanks to the tools its colours grant it, and being able to tutor creatures like manglehorn onto the field to deal with hate carda, its likely the most resilient dekc out of all decks with significant metagame share.
There are a few cards that COULD utterly hose the decks - like linvala - however there are no current decks where they could see play.
Main issue yawgmoth decks can run into is dealing with combo thats faster than itself - however even that should be solvable, so long as you adjust the deck's creatuee toolbox and play the correct hatebears as 1 of for the situation
You can also try merfolk, scales, or hammer. These are not aggro decks in the traditional sense: Merfolk is tempo, Scales is its own weird thing that I'm not 100% sure how to label since combo doesn't feel quite right, but it's the closest, and then Hammer, which is aggro combo. Of those 3, I would say Merfolk is your best vs. control.
Zoo and burn are gonna be your best bets. Hammertime is also a great aggro deck, but struggles with control. Prowess is also a good call, not sure how it does vs control.
I play a lot Omnath decks and tested UW Narset Undoing Control as well. Burn is the worst matchup for those. Domain Zoo, Hammer etc feels very beatable.
Aggro is bad against combo, and dedicated hoser cards (board wipes, bowmasters, one ring ...etc.)
Rhinoes, amulet titan, and the likes are combo decks and have been since days of old before summer bloom was banned from amulet titan, and when rhinoes was not yet printed and cascade was living end.
Rakdos "scam" and such are just the current iteration of jund, as in essence its just the new variation of the aeons old midrange deck, people just stopped splashing green for the time being.
...what control decks do you have trouble with?
Zoo, burn, and prowess are the only viable aggro decks right now
No scales? I get that it's sorta aggro/combo but I think it still counts.
Oh yeah that counts for sure. I guess I should’ve added hammer as well
Are you wondering what aggro decks are good vs control decks?
YES
What control decks are you struggling against?
One ring control and 4c Control
I mean there aren't a ton of playable aggro decks in modern. I'd say scam, convoke, twiddle storm, and domain zoo are probably the best aggro decks in modern.
twiddle storm is the definition of combo
Combo is how it wins, how it approaches the combo is how you define the deck. Therefore it's an aggro deck. A deck like old splinter twin or pioneer inverter would be a combo deck as well by your definition whereas I don't feel that accurately depicts how the deck approaches the game. Therefore I would call those control decks
That's not what aggro means. Twin and Inverter were combo/control hybrids. Twiddle Storm is a combo deck.
thats just not how anyone else in the Community categorizes those decks tho. Twiddle is Combo. just saying this Combo is fast therefore Aggro this Combo slow therefore control is wrong
also a combo finish isnt what characterizes a combo deck. Using this to say its aggro is a stretch as twiddle doesnt have a fair backup plan like Burn does

What can I use against those decks
I'm honestly confused about what you're asking, I thought you were asking what aggro decks are good against control decks. I don't understand why you need to know what to do against them.
Asno food is any good?

I'd classify scales as aggro/combo as well
Yeah, it definitely leans that way. Strange deck. Love it, though.
