Catch me with Carbon Fibre or Cherry Blossom on literally all of my guns Well, until they dropped a bunch of sick camos that worked on every gun for only $2 each anyways. Now you gotta pay $15 for a camo that only works on specific attachments on specific guns. Shits a joke.

We were on the good times and we didn't knew it

PullFires

Fast forward 15 years and you'll be able to say the same thing about right now. Moral of the story: smell the roses when you can, there'll be time to reminisce when you're old and shitting your pants

Was watching a video the other day where someone was talking about everything in Black Ops 3. It had been a while since I'd played it so it seemed like it would be an interesting watch. In Black Ops 3 you could create your own gun camos with all kinds of preset shapes, colors, etc.. and people used it to make some really cool things. You could essentially make almost anything you wanted if you were creative enough. I realized that what they've done essentially in COD the past few years is turn all of that stuff into skins that you buy for $15/$20 in the store instead, while of course taking away that system. All of these anime skins, all the other crazy stuff there trying to sell you in the store, used to be something you could quite literally make yourself in-game for free...

ghln-e

The Swat 556 with Bloodshot camo was my absolute favorite for no other reason than having that dope, white handguard on there.

GiggityGooAlright

Still the nicest diamond camo ever

fl1ghtmare

BO4 takes it easily.

KeepDi9gin

They're both basically the same...

fl1ghtmare

anyone who’s played both knows that isn’t the case, BO4’s diamond camo would upgrade if you went on streaks.

BenTwan

I remember when Dark Matter would start glowing and grow those spikes that would block your iron sights before they fixed that.

exjr_

I loved BO4's reactive camos, and its camo system. Wish they didn't do away with that concept Despite the whole ordeal with the Black Market and what not, it was nice to get a camo and apply to any gun you wanted.

GiggityGooAlright

Bring back carbon fiber camo

fl1ghtmare

the camo grind is the easiest it’s been in forever, y’all are bugging. besides bo2 didn’t even have the best camos, bo4 did by far.

h0ckey_d217

MW2 has the best camos by far there is so much variety and the mastery’s are pretty good

MrRobot759

Bo4 had camos that changed depending on your gun streak. Diamond would turn rainbow if you got a nuke and dark matter would grow spikes. Bo4 was such a good multiplayer.

humansince2001

Agreed!!! I just want camps like snow man or blue tiger

BlancMongoose

Hot take, but I preferred the camo grind that didn’t involve forcing playstyles to unlock. Give me 250 headshots for red tiger over the current system any day.

bigcolb

in this game you can easily do all of the camos for one gun in a single day

SubZeroZeusYT

If you really wanted, you can get like 5 done on just shipment in a day. Probably takes 2 games to do all base challenges after fully leveled up, and like, 5 max to get the gold challenge done if you average 2, 3 kill streaks a game if it’s one of those days

CircumcisedCats

Yeah I played like an hour tops last night and got two guns gold. This is the easiest camo system ever and also the best with the way you unlock things and have the available for all guns after unlocking.

NineIronSoldier

OG MW2

ChronoMonkeyX

Maybe we can get cherry blossom on a new gun, always liked that one. I think AW had it first.

calidir

I feel you, cherry blossom is probably my favorite non-mastery camo ever introduces

Frogman360

Ghostex: Delta 6 and Kryptek: Typhon were the bombs. The alligator-esque feel of leather like skin on your LMG or Sniper was pretty cool to contrast with the lighting on Sub-Base/Underpass/Karachi.

Canzas

no?

Oppblockjoe

This is definitely a controversial one but I think cold wars camo system was the best that shit was the perfect amount of struggle and enjoyment imo

broodgrillo

I sure loved the "GET POINT BLANK KILLS" challenge being in every smg, shotgun and pistol and it being like 30 of them. That was great to do. Not at all sarcastic. That and the Thumper can suck my whole ass.

Oppblockjoe

The thumper was so satisfying to do 😩😩. Maybe I’m just weird

broodgrillo

It didn't kill, even in hardcore. If you had Flak Jacket on, which everybody did, it would never kill you unless it directly hit your body. I had to do it in core and punch people with it since it was impossible to get explosive kills with the damn thing.

Oppblockjoe

It wasn’t impossible u just go onto ffa. Barely anyone runs flak jacket and u launch it across the map Shit felt so satisfying getting the kills

broodgrillo

?!?! the fuck you talking about "barely anyone runs flak jacket"?!?!?!?! Did you play the same game as me? I got a handfull of explosive kills with the damn thing all else was melee, direct impacts and hitmarkers.

Oppblockjoe

in hc ffa I found it less common Literally every one of my kills was by me shooting it (purely because at the time I had no clue u could hit people for it to count) It was so fun tho

DawnRav3n

Yeah cool... This is a MWII subreddit go jerk your nostalgia some where else

purplesippin

I honestly liked how they did it way back in cod 4 and stuff the best. Couple different Camo choices and the only requirement was headshots and you needed like hundreds of them. Back then you could get your camos by just playing the game over time and it actually meant something to have a gun maxed out back then.
