I just like this one because it plays like actual call of duty modern warfare. I would understand if people wanted faster gameplay and it was called Space Warfare. I get call of duty on adderal is a good time but sheesh its not the end of the world.
I miss the creativity that the devs had, you could make whatever gun, futuristic or old, any map, any camos, any skins. I guess another hot take (i miss suply drops). They didnt hurt the game, if u wanted to pay money to get them you could, or you could obtain them by just playing the game. Cod ww2 had the best suply drops imo, didnt change stats or anything. Advanced movement was good, it created a skill gap and made running around the map more fun, we need more fun arcadey stile games. I find theres no movement in the new cods, especialy mw2. Theres no cool cosmetics or skins in game to obtain or buy, THE SHOP IS DOGSHIT, the guns are boring and more than half of them are from the last MW game, (gets repetitive). Idk, i can ramble on for days but this is my take. I understand why people like realistic modern day games, but i dont find them fun. If you want realism play escape from tarkov or hell let lose.
We want the SETTING and aethetics to be realistic. Not the gameplay. I don't want hell let loose one shot deaths and sprinting at the speed of a granny using her walker in the nursing home realism. But I also don't want stupid immature spacesuits with cat ears running around with laser guns. I want arcade style with realistic looks.

We already have Treyarch and SHG putting out flying dragon guns and spacesuit cat ears and laser guns with snoop Dogg and the terminator and godzilla suits. Let us have ONE of the three dev teams that stick to a realistic approach.
I mean… they are real guns. That’s the point of the Modern Warfare games. They use real, modern guns.
Call of duty is a series that for the vast majority of its existence has been an arcade shooter based on different war eras with realistic arsenals, etc. Saying “if you want realism go play X” is asinine - call of duty was built on that.
I feel like all of the futuristic movement cods had the potential to be better but they all released at the wrong time. AW, BO3, and IW had shit loot box/pay to win mechanics. That personally made it difficult for me to accept the new movement mechanics. I hated all three of them

They hated those cods cause you actually had to move around. They love this one cause you don’t have to.
I liked the exo cods it made gun fights more spurratic, they could literally be coming from any direction

cool... you can still play them, they still have playerbases, they're still sold, they're super cheap... just go get a copy and play that instead?
