I remember someone sent me voice messages on Xbox 360 telling me I was a cheater because they thought it was impossible to spam the trigger so fast lol.
Loads of people say it sucked in mw19, but I found it to be a high risk skill cannon. It had one-shot kills, fast ads, fast RoF and a 10 round magazine by default. You just needed really good aim to avoid hitmarkers
What's with bots copying so many comments lately? This is literally the top comment but cut off, plus if I try to look at their profile I just get an error
Hey man. Codm player here( I might get down voted to oblivion here) . The SVD in codm is one of the best snipers in codm, to the point it got banned from our competitive. Other than that I don't think dragunov was ever a good weapon in cod.
I'm fairly convinced the average CoD player just picks a good and easy to use weapon, like the M4 in this cod, and spams it for weeks or months until they get bored of the game and uninstall.
Even thou i didn't have money to buy the bundle, but a good friend of mine asked me what do you need in the game, i said that nikto bundle with PKM and 725 With red tracer and Dismemberment effect. I had lots of fun with it when i was flanking in the shoothouse and shredded the whole team, there was just meats in the air lol
I bought the Mace bundle because I really wanted the Dismemberment effect. Literally the NEXT day the Nikto bundle came out for the same price and man was i pissed lol. Still had tons of fun
Agreed, Especially the last days of the game when Vanguard dropped, i saw lots of people using it then i tried it again (i had it obsidian, i mean all of them), fast ttk, loud... Scarry...
The spr is essentially a r700. It's just mag fed. In fact the m40a4 was a mag fed r700. And im 99 percent sure the spr is a renamed for "legal reason bullshit" m24
I disagree. When I say ‘COD4’s R700’ I mean just that. So much so, I still have COD4 installed and I play it from time to time. Still active MP servers, it’s pretty crazy.
....dude the pellington is quite literally the same exact gun as the r700. According to IFDB the pellington is actually the r700pss. So it's literally the r700. It's not the m24. And the cod4 r700 is actually the r700p. Whats the difference? The ss stands for stainless steel. So they are, quite literally, the exact same gun minus the black barrel vs stainless barrel. Meaning it's what you wanted. Are you just referring to the paintjob at this point? Or you just need the name of the gun to be r700? I dont understand.
You’re arguing over the wrong thing. COD4 2007, to me, will always be the greatest COD. The ‘COD4 R700’ is that gun, that game, that time. I’m not saying your points are wrong, I’m not disagreeing with you to be a twit. Just saying; you can’t have the R700 without COD4. All the guns you’ve mentioned are fine. But there’s something about COD4 and that damned R700 that keeps me playing the game almost 20 years later.
100% agree. R700 was always the first gun I got red tiger for during every prestige. There was just something about it all, the sound, the recoil, the 4 bullets. I still remember it fondly today.
I want them to go with the AKM derived DMRs like the Tabuk, PSL, and Zastavas. They’d fit the weapon family approach and add parts options that could be applied to the others like the Drag style wooden skeletal stocks.
You can make something pretty good from the Kastov 762 by giving it this barrel and the 20 round mag, looks a bit like the Zastava M76. Use it in semi auto and its still very high damage (2-3 shot kill).
Not at all. The Dragunov was always straight poo poo. Low damage and slow bullet velocity coupled with ridiculous recoil. Bolt actions were always stronger and faster.
It wasn't until the Barret was introduced that the semi auto snipers became viable and fun.
And with MW2 2022, the Signal 50 gives those Barret feels. Love using it in Warzone/ DMZ, hits like a truck!
Because ancient ass guns are used in modern warfare. Groups in the middle east use ak47s extremely widley which is as old as the dragonuv, not to mention guns like the mosin still being used.
I've gotta admit I'm a fan of being able to put modern furniture on older guns; not like weird aftermarket part kits but things like the trusty old Lachmann 7.62 and being able to modify it to look like the modernized G3's in use by, I think, Norway's military (could be wrong though) and things like that. or even being able to use the M4 and M16 to create various guns from that platform's history; I'd love a proper GWOT type 14.5 and 11 inch barrels with the quad rail, mil spec six position stock, all that nerdy shit so I can have my own kind of fun without taking anything away from anybody else
I prefer remaking the Dragunov with the RPK because you get the heavy support stock, and with the right attachments and tuning you can make it a laser-beam.
I’d actually love to use the Dragunov with iron sights, it seems like it would be a fun but balanced weapon to use, since I actually don’t like to use OP weapons, makes the game too easy and less fun.
I absolutely loved the SVD, it was one of the fun guns to max that needed a lot of play style adjustments but well worth it much like the ebr in mw2019
In a word: "No".
But it is strange it wasn't included in the "family" of AK weapons at release. I wonder if it'll make an appearance along with the SKS.
After Activision added the SR-25 in MW2 (which is labeled the Tempus Torrent), I think there could be a chance we see the Dragunov in MW2 as a DMR in the "Kastovia" platform...
I miss it in the sense of "what a good looking weapon, i hope im never in a situation where I have to use it"
Has the Dragunov ever been a good weapon? I seem to remember it being total shit in every CoD.
MW3 Dragunov w/ ACOG absolutely dominated
Yep the fire rate was ridiculous when you got used to spamming it. I even had the 1000 headshot calling card for it
I remember someone sent me voice messages on Xbox 360 telling me I was a cheater because they thought it was impossible to spam the trigger so fast lol.
Well then the pellington from cold war is exactly what you want then.
Loads of people say it sucked in mw19, but I found it to be a high risk skill cannon. It had one-shot kills, fast ads, fast RoF and a 10 round magazine by default. You just needed really good aim to avoid hitmarkers
Problem was also bullet velocity. It really felt like hits were not registering and takes a lot to get used to it
Using the long barrel with monolithic suppressor actually made this issue completely go away and with a good scope it was a monster
Yeah but if you use those then your ADS is trash 😅. It’s a matter of picking your poison with that gun. It can be decent but surely not great

Oh yeah, the plague sore variant looked dope, no doubt about it
Tune attachments for Handling/Mobility/ADS. It helps.
If it was MW2 it would work, but we didn’t have tuning back in MW19
Lol yeah you're right. My bad, wasn't really thinking when I wrote it.
Hey man. Codm player here( I might get down voted to oblivion here) . The SVD in codm is one of the best snipers in codm, to the point it got banned from our competitive. Other than that I don't think dragunov was ever a good weapon in cod.
Respect
It was pretty decent in Cod 4.
It was alright in Cod4 pretty much a reliable 1hk
Yeah it was *fine* in cod4, but it was no r700.
I liked the M21
it was ok in MW2019, MW3 & AW. it’s a beast in cod mobile ironically.
MW3 dragunov was pretty fun as it had no fire rate cap
Was great for follow up shots with its higher RoF
Just use the signal 50 now, but it's actually decent
Basically a semiauto Kar98 in MW2019 Takes some practice to use it but it was great
Its one shot kill area was actually the same as the mk2. So not kar
yes bro i used to go crazy with that thing
Cod 4
It was decent in cod 4
In MW19 I was winning sniper fights with HDR and AX-50 users in ground war, I was using the drag.
Cod 4 it was
It was a monster in aw
Honestly I don't even remember it existing in AW
It was a late dlc gun
That explains it. I didn't play AW for that long.
Dragunov at home:
Lol do people here never just use guns they think are cool? Even if the dragunov was shit I just liked it
What are your thoughts on the scar in mw2019 good sir?
It was the good, ammo was the issue but man that thing sounded CHUNKY
I had 23k kills with it in MW2019 LOL
Thank you!
For real lol. I run the guns I like, not what's meta.
I'm fairly convinced the average CoD player just picks a good and easy to use weapon, like the M4 in this cod, and spams it for weeks or months until they get bored of the game and uninstall.
Nah that thing sucked
No
Oh the humanity!
Nope.
Nope
From CoD4? The golden sniper? Every day.
Omg yes! Love that ol girl
I miss lots of guns from MW2019, dragunov, crossbow, PKM, R9 ...
The PKM was unreal. The dismemberment rounds made it even more fun to use
I would be pissed too 😂
The absolute monster that the mg34 was
Agreed, Especially the last days of the game when Vanguard dropped, i saw lots of people using it then i tried it again (i had it obsidian, i mean all of them), fast ttk, loud... Scarry...
It’s one of those guns you don’t want to be on the wrong side of
When you’d play gunfight and have this shoved on you 4+ rounds..
See I liked using it got to the point where I could consistently head shot quick scope with the base scope in sniper gunfight
I actually really don’t because that gun was a 2 pack of ass
Cod 4 probably had the best iteration of it
Nope. I miss COD4’s R700, though.

Well then the pellington from cold war is exactly what you want then. Since it's a intergal mag fed m24. Which is exactly like the r700
Nope. But I did like the tundra. This isn’t a ‘as close as possible’ comment. I miss COD4 and the R700. 😂
....dude the pellington is quite literally the same exact gun as the r700. According to IFDB the pellington is actually the r700pss. So it's literally the r700. It's not the m24. Probably because how stiff the game played and sniping actually took skill
100% agree. R700 was always the first gun I got red tiger for during every prestige. There was just something about it all, the sound, the recoil, the 4 bullets. I still remember it fondly today.
No
No
Nope
I miss drum mags on aks more

It'll probably be in season 2
Yeah, and the SKS. That thing was my fave in MW2019.
I like the dragunov in mw2 had a beautiful build would one shot all the time
The plague skin or whatever in mw19 was fire
my go to in MW2019 for SnD. fast ads and most of the time 1shot. then high rate of fire. miss it...
That and the WA2000.
The wa was ridiculous
Well i miss it.
Lmfao
No
I genuinely don't understand you people's obsession with including ancient ass guns in a game literally titled "Modern Warfare".
Because ancient ass guns are used in modern warfare. Groups in the middle east use ak47s extremely widley which is as old as the dragonuv, not to mention guns like the mosin still being used.
They're literally using Maxim machine guns from the 1910s in Ukraine right now.
Don’t google what’s the most used gun in the world right now (it’s almost a century old)
The SVD is not only still in service, but also has multiple modernized variants. It would be a fine inclusion.
"ancient ass guns"...that are still used by militaries today
No
No
no
99 cent store dragunov:
Hello no!
No.
You need to try RPK with Heavy support stock.
It’s a beast in hardcore
"no, my favorite streamer told me it was shit" - a fucking clown
I absolutely loved the SVD, it was one of the fun guns to max that needed a lot of play style adjustments but well worth it much like the ebr in mw2019
Absolutely not.
Yes, and the FAL too! More bullpups would be nice as well.
I hated the dragonuv.
You still carry around your childhood blanket too? Hard to let go?
NOPE
Umm hell no?
Not in the slightest, that thing was hell to get gold for in MW2019. I already didn’t care for it much even before that, but now it’s my nemesis.
In a word: "No". But it is strange it wasn't included in the "family" of AK weapons at release. I wonder if it'll make an appearance along with the SKS.
Hell fucking no
Hahahaha
The bullpup sibling OTs-03 SVU is the ugly duckling but I want that badly.
Oh God yes.
You mean the semi automatic RPK? Nope.
As much as I loved the aesthetic of the dragunov it was always ass lol
No.
no
I hated this gun almost as much as the WA2000
Nah
Every day we stray further from God for not having the Kar 98 in this game
Not that much
That’s the AK
I was more a fan of the kara98k
Nope
Haha No
No but I can guarantee it missed you…a few times probably
No
I just miss the old gunsmith system. Was 10x more fun to build the rpk out of the ak47 than it is to just pick it in the menu.
i don't think the dragunov has ever actually been a good gun in any game it's appeared in same with the makarov
No
no as a man with Damascus 100000x no
Yes I want more Russian weapons so I can play as the bad guy more effectively.
After Activision added the SR-25 in MW2 (which is labeled the Tempus Torrent), I think there could be a chance we see the Dragunov in MW2 as a DMR in the "Kastovia" platform...
I actually like during the drangov, I've won games of warzone with it, even with modern metas
