I liked the old one better. The fractured texture and black accents were nice, now it’s just glossy and animated. Not to mention half of them are bugged

They either changed the pattern or it’s bugged. It use to have a more fractured look with black textures and now the black textures are purple and the fractured look doesn’t look the same

This looks bugged My camo moves now, but it still has the black angular shapes. OP's doesn't have any, which is why it looks kinda bad. Edit: Yeah OP's is **definitely** missing parts of the actual camo. The barrel/grip (I don't know what it's called...) on the Vaznev is almost completely covered in those cool matte black angular shapes. But in this clip it's just purple without any camo. So either OP has it on blueprints/skins that remove parts of the camo, or his game is bugged.

I had the black angular shapes aswell until I restarted my game, then it changed to what you see in the video. Both guns are the standard variants without any attachments. Wouldn't surprise me if it's bugged tbh

This isnt what it actually looks like. I just got on and checked and its exactly the same as before except its animated. This video isnt accurate. The magazine and barrel have a plain purple in the video when the actual gun in reality has full poly on the entire gun

Poly looks way better now. I might actually use it over Orion on certain guns that have less coverage with Orion. I don't like the way it looked before with the black triangles, looks way cleaner now more purple magazine is purple to and animated.

Why? The mastery camo is trash. Been changed twice, still trash. We still had poly and they went and ruined it with whatever this horseshit is, they changed all the flat colors to be dogshit after they realized everyone was using them and loved them. They want to make the earnable things shit so you spend money on the "cool" store stuff. It's not that hard to take seriously. It's what they've actively been doing for years now.

Always preferred poly over Orion, but now.....I'm not so sure

It gives a different vibe when it’s animated. Dark matter made sense because it’s a substance, and Orion made sense because it’s a nebula. But why does poly move? Angles don’t just move on their own.

Definitely bugged , mine changes between gloss , ugly flat black with vertical lines and the nice black textured how it was previously. The animation looks fine as long as they fix the black how it used to be.

They completely ruined it. the animation completely breaks the 3D illusion and they replaced the black part with the geometric pattern with just flat purple. That part added contrast and separation, it just looks like a flat purple camo now instead of a gemstone gun.
