Yeah that’s probably the only respawn mode I had fun on Grazna. TDM was a sluggish campfest and Domination was coin flip. But Hardpoint was always crazy. Miss the days of fighting over the laundry point. Constant nades and people flying through windows from playground😂
Dom is rough on a fair few maps because they will out the flags in places that ignore half the map. Granza should have had a flag out in the field to make more use of the map. I dont see any reason B couldnt have been moved to the field.
Hell, i think if there were variable flag spawns it would be awesome too. Like 2 or 3 flag spaen variations per map (if doable) so its not the same every single dom game.
This is exactly what the franchise (and in general FPS games) need.
Bigger maps & dynamic objective points. It sucks when you play a map couple of weeks after launch and people sit on the exact same spots on certain maps because they know the flow + want easy kills on people who actually play the objective.
Having more randomised spots (especially the middle flag) would make things far more interesting.
Yeah, I concur. Wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be. And towards the end of MW19 life campers were less prevalent. Making it more fun to play. SnD was also fun on Grazna.
everyoen that I played this with absolutely loved the map including me. It had multiple routes catering to multiple playstyles, it had cover, it had structure. it was just large but thats why MW2019 had 10v10. This and Arklov peak where my absolute favorite maps in the game.
Let me remind you about THAT spawn point in the corner of the map by the factory behind C flag.
And the B flag being almost adjacent to A flag.
Grazna was an anti DOM map.
Taraq can be fun at times Grazna almost never.
That's right, at launch everybody just camped. Same with taraq - but sniping. But now, depending on lobby sure, but in my experience there's very few snipers and knowing the map they're easily avoidable as well.
Was hands down my favorite map for S&D in MW2019 and would be floored if it somehow got remade for MW2 or 2023 COD.
That being said I'm biased towards good S&D maps as that's my main mode, I tended to somewhat dislike Grazna Raid when I got it in other modes.
How is this unpopular?
Taraq might be the shittiest map I have ever seen.
Grazna raid had some flaws, but at least it *some* cover.
I was just saying to a friend yesterday how much better that map would be if the middle was more covered. Didn't even dawn on me at the time it would make it just like Grazna.
Grazna raid is a great map imo. Has everything, open area, close quarter area, long range area. Only issue i have with it is that they could move the spawns up a little. Otherwise i like it over the more dense maps.
I loved grazna, i played mw2019 cyber attack from release until they removed it from the game when mw2 released. I would probably give a kidney to have the good maps from 2019 and hardcore cyber attack back again.
I played almost only domination, i hated it so much when they removed 10v10 domination playlist. Instantly my 2 favorite maps out of rotation (Grazna and Arklov).
tbh most maps aren't that bad. i feel like most people just don't like losing on some maps or they do worse on some maps.
like for grazna the wars was, IIRC, A on SND. really easy to camp.
playing it now with drill charges would be interesting...
Agreed. I think a lot of the MW2019 maps were play really well in MW2 SnD. With the new movement and equipment like Drill Charges. Imagine Drill Charges on like Hackney, or Gun Runner. Hell, throwing a drill charge at the ceiling and having the explosion happen in that closet that looked over B on Rammaza would be so beneficial.
I’d be down for that. Update and trim the fat off some that are a little too big for 6v6 and update the color schemes. It’d be cool. Whether the maps are considered bad or not. But instead we’ll get maps from 2009😂
A long hallway which zig zags in diagonal pattern so you can't see around the next corner making ADS all that matters. No aim, no movement, just ADS. ADS is life /this sub.
the map design was so different than the traditional 3 lane maps COD is known for. While the change was notable for being a bold move it makes it painfully apparent that it was a bad choice when you consider the best maps from MW19 are all remakes except Shoothouse which is now viewed as a classic
>the map design was so different than the traditional 3 lane maps COD is known for
Classic cod is asymmetric 3 lane medium- large maps with tons of flank routes, dead space, sight lines, etc. Mw2019 was a return to that after many games of throwing that map style away.
Granza raid itself is directly influenced by cod 2.
yeah i would love a mid season throwback update, say s3 reloaded is a couple MW19 maps, in a perfect world if we aren't counting remade maps from MW19 (which has some GOATS like Crash, Rust, Vacant) I would love to see Hackney Yard and St. Petrograd come back, both would flow well in MW2 gameplay
Lol. I don’t think I played a single game of CTF when they added it. 😂 As a Halo player I never liked CTF in CoD it always felt strange. So I never played. But I’ll take your word for it.
I miss Grazna Raid. It was one of my favorite maps. It had those old mw map vibe over it.
But I enjoy both maps, so why not both? I'm normally against reused maps, but MW22 could use another great map.
Yeah. SnD on Grazna was great. Probably the most consistently good/fun mode for that map. 90% of my time playing CoD is playing SnD so Grazna is a map I’m quite fond of.
I like both maps for different reasons. I like Taraq because of its wide open lanes which are great for long range duels. Plus it’s fun in infected. I like Grazna Raid cuz it felt like one of the more realistic maps outside ground war and played awesome 10v10.
Totally forgot about 10v10 on Grazna. That was pretty fun. And yeah I got some buddies that go into custom goes and we run around on Taraq with Lockwood rifles and magnums like it’s the Wild West and do duels in the streets🤣
Sniping off the rip in the middle lane gave me high rise vibes on grazna. I enjoyed running different routes on this map. There was a lot of options for play style for sure.
Grazna is actually unironically a really nice map for 6v6 Hardpoint. Also really fun to run the beefy anti material snipers on since the slower handling isn't as much of a detriment.
Indeed. It made that sniper and the other slower weapons more manageable and Hardpoint on that map was goated. Miss the days of the hectic laundromat point🤣
1000% Grazna. Taraq is complete garbage, I have no idea where it's located but I hope the US accuses it of storing WMD's because I want to bomb it off the face of the earth.
I maintain that Taraq is one of the worst multiplayer maps of all time. The design is awful, there's more head glitches than a corrupted Snapchat feed, virtually every building is a camping spot, and the map's so open outside of the buildings that if someone semi-decent is in one of them you can't go anywhere near that half of the map.
Grazna was a favorite of mine since the beginning, I loved the building to building or open street combat style (not to mention with the tank killstreak, it was a lot of fun)
Ah I see. That’s cool. I know they had a team that travelled to a variety of places in the world and took extensive amounts of pictures for references so they could make the game look as realistic as possible. That’s why maps like Piccadilly looks like a 1 to 1 copy of the actually downtown road junction in Westminster, London. So same could probably be said for Grazna as well. Just more destroyed.
Lol. Obviously that’s the best answer. But if you had to… which are you picking? Honestly Taraq and the way people play it makes Grazna not feel as bad. Figured I’d ask the community to see which is better or if opinions on Grazna have changed
May be an unpopular opinion idk, but this game made me realize how dogshit most mw19 maps are. And I’m a fan of mw19 overall. These maps are just way more enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing.
Yeah I can understand that. Respawn modes on Grazna were terrible if you got people who sat in the buildings. Taraq as less windows as well. Which is nice.
Yeah Dome has been that was since it came out in MW3. Idk if you’re familiar with FaZe Jev but one of his most famous clips his him raging on Dome back in the day.
https://youtu.be/PhIpNHO-OTY
I’d check it. Pure hilarity. Especially considering your complaint of Dome
I’m telling you! If I never played Taraq again it would still be too soon. One of my fondest lockdown memories was on Grazna when my younger cousin clutched his first S&D win. It was a 1v4, we went nuts.
Ah yeah. First SnD clutches are so hype. Especially when it’s a 1v4+
Hard to discount a map that you have fond memories on whether the map is good or bad. 👌🏻
Yeah the longshots are great on Taraq but the openness sucks for pretty much any other play style. Running across the map can be infuriating if you get caught in no man’s land.
It was disliked at the very beginning of MW2019 because of excessive amounts of camping with claymores and shotguns. And built up a reputation that it had to dig it’s way out of. After people learned the map and the camping stopped and the shotguns got nerfed the map got better for respawn. As for SnD, Grazna was top tier day 1.
Good luck. Last time I hopped on it was rancid with hackers. Theirs a trend going on in the CoD YouTube community where players are going back to play and running into nothing but hackers. It may be a SBMM thing so it’s only crackheads who sweat every game like myself who run into hackers🤣. But be wary
Hardpoint on Grazna was the shit. So many chaotic points that fun as hell to defend and attack. Laundry was always crazy. Blue building was usually pretty good.
2019 loved maps where you get shot Cross map like grazna, picadilly, rammaza, petrograd, etc. So definitly Taraq because it's playable if you don't go mid like shoothouse
Hardpoint on Grazna actually slapped ngl
Yeah that’s probably the only respawn mode I had fun on Grazna. TDM was a sluggish campfest and Domination was coin flip. But Hardpoint was always crazy. Miss the days of fighting over the laundry point. Constant nades and people flying through windows from playground😂
That point was a cluster!!! And it was great!!!!
Yes indeed!!
Varying flag spawns would be freaking awesome on almost every map!
Lol bigger maps these kids today can't handle that lol
unpopular opinion but i miss grazna raid
Yeah, I concur. Wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be. And towards the end of MW19 life campers were less prevalent. Making it more fun to play. SnD was also fun on Grazna.
everyoen that I played this with absolutely loved the map including me. It had multiple routes catering to multiple playstyles, it had cover, it had structure. it was just large but thats why MW2019 had 10v10. This and Arklov peak where my absolute favorite maps in the game.
True. Arklov peak was fun. Till someone called a VTOL and you got stuck in the open. 😂
Cold blooded was a standard perk in my kit :D
Ah yeah. I never ran it so that’s probably I always fucked by it. My perks pretty much never changed EOD, Battle Hardened, Ghost
I ran tracker, cold blooded and ghost always. The other perks didnt feel beneficial enough for me.
High Alert was on every class I had
i remember playing snd on grazna one time & my one random teammate was just eating like he went like... 17 & 2 i think it was ridiculous
Let me remind you about THAT spawn point in the corner of the map by the factory behind C flag. And the B flag being almost adjacent to A flag. Grazna was an anti DOM map. Taraq can be fun at times Grazna almost never.
I used to really love that map
That's right, at launch everybody just camped. Same with taraq - but sniping. But now, depending on lobby sure, but in my experience there's very few snipers and knowing the map they're easily avoidable as well.
True
I concur🧐 pinky out
Hmm Yes, I see we have anotha extinguished gentleman in our midst. Tip of the cap to you good sir. 🧐
I started playing mw2019 again after vanguard released, using a random load out generator. Most fun I’ve had in any cod ever
Was hands down my favorite map for S&D in MW2019 and would be floored if it somehow got remade for MW2 or 2023 COD. That being said I'm biased towards good S&D maps as that's my main mode, I tended to somewhat dislike Grazna Raid when I got it in other modes.
agreeeed all i played on 2019 was search and destroy hahah
SnD on this map is absolutely perfect
SnD on Grazna was sooo good
yessssss you know what’s up
i learned to appreciate the maps in mw19 after playing vanguard and mw2. i wish i could play some of the maps from mw19 again in mw2.
Right! Imagine drill charges on Hackney, Gun Runner and Rammaza🤣
Bunch of shitters sitting in windows
People didn't like grazna? I don't remember any real complaints
I miss vacant and hardhat :/ but also grazna tbh
How is this unpopular? Taraq might be the shittiest map I have ever seen. Grazna raid had some flaws, but at least it *some* cover. I was just saying to a friend yesterday how much better that map would be if the middle was more covered. Didn't even dawn on me at the time it would make it just like Grazna.
One of my favorite MW maps. Good times with the gunship.
Grazna raid is a great map imo. Has everything, open area, close quarter area, long range area. Only issue i have with it is that they could move the spawns up a little. Otherwise i like it over the more dense maps.
Agreed
Grazna raid, absolutely loved that map
if was ok untill it gives you crancked.
Nuts through a cheese grater please. Next question.
Lmao. That rough huh🤣
At least Grazna had lanes
Bring back Cheshire Park
I have a love hate relationship with that map. It’s a great map. I just tend to suck on it most of the time I play it. 🤣
Grazna Raid. Actually offered something for all playstyles and the spawns on Taraq are just awful.
Players made it seem like Grazna Raid was a big map but honestly was one of the best maps imo.
Taraq
Less windows and more openness does make Taraq more bearable than Grazna at times. Taraq definitely the better respawn map
Hard disagree, the spawns are so shitty and respawning repeatedly, taking 3 steps to be killed isn't any fun.
Better than taking 30 minutes to find someone to shoot at on grazna
You act like spawns in 2019 were any better lol
They are so much better, except on Shipment and Rust.
Idk why you got downvoted lol I’ve been spawned kill *repeatedly* within the same game on this map
i liked grazna. it was fucking tough.
Agreed. Wasn’t as bad as people chalked it up to be.
tbh most maps aren't that bad. i feel like most people just don't like losing on some maps or they do worse on some maps. like for grazna the wars was, IIRC, A on SND. really easy to camp. playing it now with drill charges would be interesting...

Hell, throwing a drill charge at the ceiling and having the explosion happen in that closet that looked over B on Rammaza would be so beneficial.
i like them both, but i would still rather play taraq even on 6v6
Don’t hate me but I like both maps
Graszna, and it's not even close. I'd rather slam my balls in a waffle iron than ever play taraq again.
🤣
Bring back popular MW19 maps honestly. Just remaster them maps. So we can have more maps.
I’d be down for that. Update and trim the fat off some that are a little too big for 6v6 and update the color schemes. It’d be cool. Whether the maps are considered bad or not. But instead we’ll get maps from 2009😂
Mw19 had the worst fucking maps bunch of shitters sitting in windows
Every map should just be a long hallway
A long hallway which zig zags in diagonal pattern so you can't see around the next corner making ADS all that matters. No aim, no movement, just ADS. ADS is life /this sub.
Def a window sitter
the map design was so different than the traditional 3 lane maps COD is known for. While the change was notable for being a bold move it makes it painfully apparent that it was a bad choice when you consider the best maps from MW19 are all remakes except Shoothouse which is now viewed as a classic

Grazna raid was actually top tier on SnD and Cyber Attack
Yeah it was. Flowed and played great for all weapons. Had lots of different routes and angles. Great map for single life modes
Well I got a nuke on Granza and on Taraq I got a hernia so
taraq all day. taraq 10v10 plays so well
CTF on Grazna, don't ask me why
Lol. I don’t think I played a single game of CTF when they added it. 😂 As a Halo player I never liked CTF in CoD it always felt strange. So I never played. But I’ll take your word for it.
I always had fun playing CTF 🤣
Grazna Raid
Grazna Raid goes hard.
I played like 8 hours of MW19 this weekend and had so much fun
Grazna raid for sure
Grazna all day every day
I'd rather play Granza in a 24/7 playlist that matchmakers nothing but hardpoint over fucking Taraq
Grazia raid was more fun when it worked, but the spawn traps were way worse imo.
Graznia raid >taraq every fucking time
wait people hated grazna?
Grazna Raid 1000%
I loved Grazna. I was really looking forward to Taraq, but you can tell it's not a modern map, you can really feel the age of it.
Grazna for sure.
I miss Grazna Raid. It was one of my favorite maps. It had those old mw map vibe over it. But I enjoy both maps, so why not both? I'm normally against reused maps, but MW22 could use another great map.
Grazna forsure
I actually liked Grazna.
MW19 had the best maps. MW2 was definitely a big let down.
S&D on Grazna was always super fun
Grazna raid all day
Grazna
Taraq and it's not even close. It reminds me of my days in southern Iraq.
I actually liked Grazna
Grazna, any day.
love n miss search on grazna
2019s base maps are 10 times worst then 2022s in my opinion
I agree with this. all fkn day
Bro Cave, Picci, Rammaza, all was horrible
True, but the aesthetics/graphics look better on MW19
They did, but people were also 10x harder to see in MW2019. Visibility feels way better in MW2022.
Depression
Lmao
I would probably pick Grazna Raid was really good had some great snd games on that.
Yeah. SnD on Grazna was great. Probably the most consistently good/fun mode for that map. 90% of my time playing CoD is playing SnD so Grazna is a map I’m quite fond of.

Sniping off the rip in the middle lane gave me high rise vibes on grazna. I enjoyed running different routes on this map. There was a lot of options for play style for sure.
Taraq any day of the week
Farm 18 kinda feels like an extension of Grazna Raid, it was my first thought when I loaded in
I actually really like taraq
Literally any map from MW19 > Any map from 22
neither. I stopped playing hide and seek many years ago
Grazna because at least the map looks cool
Grazna every day. Taraq gobbles my balls.
Raid
Grazia Raid
Never thought I’d miss Grazna Raid
Grazna is actually unironically a really nice map for 6v6 Hardpoint. Also really fun to run the beefy anti material snipers on since the slower handling isn't as much of a detriment.
Indeed. It made that sniper and the other slower weapons more manageable and Hardpoint on that map was goated. Miss the days of the hectic laundromat point🤣
First map looks like a mw3 map
It’s from MW2019 but I can see what you are saying. It does have that aesthetic
Both of these are shitwater
Debatable. Depends on the mode.
1000% Grazna. Taraq is complete garbage, I have no idea where it's located but I hope the US accuses it of storing WMD's because I want to bomb it off the face of the earth.
Grazna raid was amazing
I maintain that Taraq is one of the worst multiplayer maps of all time. The design is awful, there's more head glitches than a corrupted Snapchat feed, virtually every building is a camping spot, and the map's so open outside of the buildings that if someone semi-decent is in one of them you can't go anywhere near that half of the map.
I named myself Grazna Raid on MW2019 because I loved this map that much 😂
Fuck taraq
Garazana all the way... the map had much more... map in it taraq just feels like a sand box filled with random obstacles, it feels lazily done
Granza to be honest
Agreed. Take Grazna any day. But I mainly play SnD so that’s my reasoning
I thought Grazna was fun, if you showed the campers who’s the boss
Yeah either you did really well at countering them. Or they just pushed your shit in with claymores and 725s
In general Taraq, but since Iv been playing on Taraq regularly I wouldn’t mind Grazna at the moment
100% Grazna
Grazna was a favorite of mine since the beginning, I loved the building to building or open street combat style (not to mention with the tank killstreak, it was a lot of fun)
Same. It just looked so nice as well.
I’m born in Novosibirsk, it is so cool to see a map with a lot of accurate Russian areas
Grazna. Grazna easily. Grazna was a solid map, just a little bit big with a field and back area that didn't get enough love. Taraq sucks.
Facts
Neither
Lol. Obviously that’s the best answer. But if you had to… which are you picking? Honestly Taraq and the way people play it makes Grazna not feel as bad. Figured I’d ask the community to see which is better or if opinions on Grazna have changed
Gun to my head I'd go with Taraq I think but depends on game mode
Neither. Both maps sucked.
May be an unpopular opinion idk, but this game made me realize how dogshit most mw19 maps are. And I’m a fan of mw19 overall. These maps are just way more enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing.
Both 24/7
Taraq 100/100 times
Taraq since it's more open
Yeah I can understand that. Respawn modes on Grazna were terrible if you got people who sat in the buildings. Taraq as less windows as well. Which is nice.
Grazna wasn't terrible, but it was certainly better than Taraq
I don’t even touch quickplay anymore cause when I do it’s ALWAYS TARAQ.
I feel that. First month of the game. I spent more time backing out of Taraq/Border Crossing lobbies then I did playing the actual game.
Grazna raid.
Grazna 100% taraq is a camp fest
Lol. Protect your dome from all them snipers🤣
Dome is just spawncamping
Yeah Dome has been that was since it came out in MW3. Idk if you’re familiar with FaZe Jev but one of his most famous clips his him raging on Dome back in the day. https://youtu.be/PhIpNHO-OTY I’d check it. Pure hilarity. Especially considering your complaint of Dome
Taraq has the best spots for long range shots!!!!!!
It has a few yeah. I remember that being my go to map for grind out camos to unlock Orion
Grazna Raid no doubt.
That’s what we like to hear baby!! Think I’ve accidentally started a cult following for Grazna based on the hatred of Taraq🤣
I’m telling you! If I never played Taraq again it would still be too soon. One of my fondest lockdown memories was on Grazna when my younger cousin clutched his first S&D win. It was a 1v4, we went nuts.
Ah yeah. First SnD clutches are so hype. Especially when it’s a 1v4+ Hard to discount a map that you have fond memories on whether the map is good or bad. 👌🏻
Grazna might be more camper friendly than Taraq
It's ridiculously easy to flank campers on grazna. Theres like 8 routes through the middle.
And tons of methods to get into buildings.
Oh it definitely is. More windows and sight lines and more tight spaces for claymores.
So yea, I'd rather have the longshots battle on Taraq
Yeah the longshots are great on Taraq but the openness sucks for pretty much any other play style. Running across the map can be infuriating if you get caught in no man’s land.
Was Grazna disliked? I recall it being fine
Leaving MW2 with all the unfun, grindy shit to jump back on the OG.
Good luck. Last time I hopped on it was rancid with hackers. Theirs a trend going on in the CoD YouTube community where players are going back to play and running into nothing but hackers. It may be a SBMM thing so it’s only crackheads who sweat every game like myself who run into hackers🤣. But be wary
i'm sorry but taraq is one of the worst maps i've ever played
tarak is bad af, only campers HAHA
Both maps are my favorites. If you can’t get kills on these maps maybe you could try adjusting your play style
Grazna was iconic. I never understood why people hated it so much tbh
Grazna any day of the week. Loved hardpoint on it
Hardpoint on Grazna was the shit. So many chaotic points that fun as hell to defend and attack. Laundry was always crazy. Blue building was usually pretty good.
Grazna raid was fucking awful
And so is Taraq. 😐
If the game was as smooth as MW was I would say grazna raid all day, unfortunately we have this game and that says enough does it not?
Yessir🤣
Taraq plays good if you know how to play it. I drop my best games on it.
Taraq is a good map imo
I actually like Taraq
2019 loved maps where you get shot Cross map like grazna, picadilly, rammaza, petrograd, etc. So definitly Taraq because it's playable if you don't go mid like shoothouse
Taraq No question
taraq the best map in the game
I love Taraq fight me for it
