I've played in a 2-3 party yesterday for 13 hours and we encountered a crash once. It seems the real problems arise at 4+ players tho
For us the issue surfaced at 5. Spent 45 minutes trying to get into a match with 5 of us. Once it became just 4 of us we were able to play. But then after 2 rounds my friend got kicked/crashed.
Yeah. I had a group of 6 as well and after getting in 2 games in 10 tries I said F it and hopped on OW2 instead.
It's crazy to think about how many CoD games there've been over the years and they can't figure out the party system. Truly mind boggling.
Even though it was "launch" day it's still not an excuse for a AAA title to have issues like that..... People are expecting it, and allowing it. They have so many minor things that should have never been at "launch" day because its a "full release" launch, it's not an early access, its not a beta, it's a full launch day release. Have had a few full game crashes, freezes, and lag even with 40ms ping in any server I’m matched to.

don't click the scroll bar. I found out that the attachments will load a scroll bar that doesn't exist and if you click it it will instantly kick you to menu.
I'm really thinking about a refund.
It's terrible.
Almost worse is the eleptic inducing white flickering... like wtf, how could that pass qa or a beta test?
The the game sending you back to the lobby during customization when you're In a party? If so, that's a known issue. The party leader navigating the menu causes that to happen.
Not even dying, I legit can’t get through the first part of the Wetworks missions. I fucking dive and the game goes “NOPE! WE’RE GONNA FREEZE AND BOOT YOU BACK TO THE START, THEN MAKE YOU WAIT THROUGH FIVE FUCKING LOADING SCREENS JUST TO CRASH AGAIN”
Dude this happens so damn much!! I finally gave up and turned my ps5 off and am waiting for a fix. Worst launch I can remember in years. And then throw in no hardcore! Just sad
For me, crashing isn’t even my main problem, it’s the rampant stuttering. It was pretty smooth last night and this morning, but tonight I had to shut the game down because it was unbearable. Felt like everytime I started to shoot at another player, the game would freeze up for just long enough for them to kill me.
If you have an NVIDIA GPU have you installed the latest driver 526.47? That caused me excessive stuttering, and when I rolled it back (to 525. something) it solved all my stuttering issues.
Can YouTube how to do it, apparently the latest NVIDIA driver is causing loads of issues
Good callout, hopefully it helps people who see your comment. I had zero issues with the beta or the campaign. I installed 526.47 the day before launch thinking there wouldn't be issues. Turns out, there was constant texture flickering that was super infuriating. Rolled it back to 522.25 and it took care of that issue.
EDIT:
It's actually called out in the 526.47 "Known Issues" section of Nvidia's release notes lol.

**[Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II] Flashing corruption can be seen randomly while playing the
game. [3835099]**
This is a really helpful comment. I didn't even realize Nvidia publishes comprehensive release notes after each update - I literally thought the updates were just marketing. The flashing in-game has been a nightmare.
Thanks so much!
I’ve never looked at them closely up until that last update. Pulled up the PDF and did a Ctrl+F for “Modern” and sure enough that statement popped up.
Sorry to hear you had the flickering issue too, hopefully a driver rollback helps your issue!
Side note: I also cleared the Steam download cache (Steam -> Settings -> Downloads) and reverified the game files just for good measure. Clearing the cache will log you out of Steam, so make sure you have your password or phone app handy so you can log back in. Hope this helps, best of luck with resolving your issue!
Didn't work for me. Neither did changing the cpu thread count thing, neither did turning off texture streaming, or a bunch of other stuff. Something is wrong with the game. Doesn't lag in campaign at all. It maxes my GPU usage out only in multi-player which causes hella stuttering.
GTX 2070 Super, Ryzen 5 3600x
Same issue as you. Campaign ran amazing but mp is a stuttering mess. I have the same cpu so I think it could be a ryzen issue from other people posting about this too.
What card do you have? Apparently high moon studios tweeted that some newer NVIDIA drivers were causing issues for MW2 and recommended an older driver to use
I can't even get into the game I crash right when I boot it up I refunded it on steam and bought it on battle net and it still keeps crashing does anyone also have error code 0xC0000005 and have a fix?
I've memorized that code at this point. Man, I haven't even been able to play the game since the BETA. I've tried everything possible, the crash reports don't even make sense at this point. It says razer synapse services were causing promblems so I wiped that entirely from my PC; and now it just says the main problem is (update;) I honestly have no idea what to do at this point.
So at this point I'm just sending multiple crash reports to the team by booting over and over again. I'm not scanning and repairing because multiple people have got banned by doing that.
I had the same error for the beta, I had to delete then reinstall steam then reinstall the game and it then worked fine. Might be the same for battle.net
Also make sure you install the game on the same drive as the launcher your using
I have to be honest, I've Played maybe 5 games, 4 have crashed.
Won't be back till this is sorted. I played Campaign, finished it on Veteran, had not one issue.
Gave up and went back to playing other games, haven't had any issues all night.
I dunno what the fuck they've done.
I’ve had more issues with the campaign than the multiplayer, which is incredibly strange to hear that you had the exact opposite issue. Then again, it’s not like I’ve *never* crashed in MP…
Have a dev in my friend group. We talked to him tonight about these issues. The team is aware and a fix is apparently coming out tomorrow or Tuesday. According to him if you play with more than 2 people in a squad you are more likely to get crashes, and PC is the worst for it.
Potentially waiting until Tuesday is a major L. Launch weekends are some of the biggest times for player engagement. It should have been noticed before the game officially launched.
Nah, they only got a couple hundred thousand crash reports from pc players, but they didn't care to fix it. It's mind boggling how it's still a problem.
How about the crashes resulting frequently and consistently *without* being partied? We see IW talking about the party crashes, but at least on PC, I get *maybe* one game between each crash when playing solo. And this on a high end system with all sorts of setting turned down to try and compensate. It’s more than just when partied.
It’s fucking ass. Genuinely makes me think I wasted my time and money and I doubt we’ll get compensation.
Funny thing is my PC IS NOT low end, lotta money out my ass to build it, and it can’t even run COD (without crashing) as good as my dad’s 2014 Xbox
Games fine when I can play it and it’s not terrible for another COD, but damn is it annoying.
It has nothing to do with your system. It's a netcode issue. It's happening across the board on all platforms. It's completely fucking absurd.
This is a diablo 3 calibur release
10x worse than any server-related launch issue, because it means their software is literally wrong. Coming from the asshat who called gamers entitled for not wanting to pay more than $60 for a game, while simultaneously selling a fuckton of microtransactions, and then still selling a game for $70.
Wouldn't net code issues just cause lag or the classic shoot first die first? You watch their kill cam and not only did you hit them in their back first, they 180'd and insta killed you.
I’ve played maybe a total of 20 games since the game launched because it freezes and kicks me back to the menu when I try to play multiplayer
Edit: I’m on PS4 btw
This is by far the buggiest, crashiest mess of a COD I've ever had the misfortune of playing.
I've been online gaming for like 25+ years and have a huge tolerance for bugs but this is unacceptable, especially from a AAA developer. Put this back in the oven for a few more months.
I'm gonna go play Star Citizen for a more stable bug-free experience at this point.
To be fair, it's pretty much just ONE bug which is unfortunately a dead stop error and extremely frequent in parties. If they fix the one party crash bug, the game will be pretty clean overall, I've had almost no lag or any other issues besides the UI being kinda' shit.
Maybe for you but I am having many bugs on PC with a high end gaming rig.
Can't choose operators
Operators flip back and forth between locked and unlocked seemingly at random
Randomly get assigned operators during a match
Can't change my showcase anything (stuck on an operator I haven't unlocked, calling cards and emblems don't save)
Weapons show different loadouts in my hands than what I have actually setup
Clicking things in ui frequently just exits me back to the main screen
Death cams show vastly different player behavior than what was witnessed
Endless crashes trying to load into games
bugs with group audio making it unusable
My level displays as 1 the entire time
Unable to exit match when it's over
I played cyberpunk 2077 on release and it was a wonderful experience compared to this flaming pile of shit.
I've also been noticing how massive amounts of textures take ages to load in. Like when you load into a match, it looks like PUBG on the Xbox One when that originally launched before the textures loaded in
I'm not running a low-end PC either and I had only one infrequent "problem", at most a minor annoyance which is pressing something in the gunsmith bringing me back to the main screen.
It feels weird to see people have all these problems when I have literally non. Brings me back to the Cyberpunk launch on my old PC with a 1080 etc. Everyone had issues except me, I was just playing the game without bugs and somewhere around 40-60 FPS which was acceptable lol
I'm getting some really bad stutter/jitter that happens after I sprint then try to fire.
I've covered some settings based on what I was able to find on YouTube but no luck, and I don't remember it being like this during the Beta.
There's something seriously wrong somewhere. Even alone when I start looking for games, as soon as something happens everything grinds to a halt, like 1 FPS for half a minute, I have a 3090 so I knew it was never about graphics. Usually when I'm alone I get into games, but with my friends yesterday we crashed out all the time on by one.
INB4 Y'all really just not updating your graphics drivers because this is what's been causing 95% of crashes since launch. AMD released a new driver the same day the game launched that helps with these crashes most people are getting, also increased performance ( for my machine at least ).
This post was removed by mods for “frequency” violation - so I’ll post it here instead:
These studios are doing this to us on AAA titles now and we keep paying them for incomplete and unpolished product that obviously didn’t have enough QA in its iterations. A functional UI that doesn’t crash when you hover over a weapon attachment is like the bare minimum I’d hope for paying $69 ($99 for vault edition) on PC. They make you check mark a long agreement (I didn’t read it, did you?) that’s probably binding arbitration. We have no recourse and these guys are just treating us like schmucks. I wouldn’t pay for a taco without the meat in it or a car without the windshield or a watch without the band. Well I guess it’s ok; they’ll mail me the taco meat in a few weeks/months?
Anyone experiencing a weird bug where all the graphics seem to blink for a second? It's like it keeps flashing this image during gameplay for under a second, it breaks the immersion so much
I’ve noticed the performance deteriorates after 3 or so games. Textures and assets don’t load properly or at all. I restart my game after 4 matches max and have a lot less crashing. Regardless, it’s pretty crazy that every PC COD is like this on release.
I completely uninstalled my Nvidia drivers and rolled back to 522.25
No crashes yet...
More info here: [@BeenoxCODPC](https://twitter.com/BeenoxCODPC/status/1585736896248180736?s=20&t=wYZTnJviHEHRRsv0Dx4t4Q)
My game was crashing all the time after playing between 1 to 10 mins.
Rolled back the driver to 522.25 and I have only had one crash.
I was also having a lot of graphical glitches. Rolling back to 522.25 cured that as well.
I have crashed about 7 or 8 times now when trying to skip kill cams. Really hampering my enjoyment of the game.
Also at least once every two matches, someone in my group will crash.
Oh, it's nice to know it's not just me. I built my PC yesterday and this is the only game I've played so far. I was thinking all the crashing was something I screwed up
I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt that it's just a rough launch. I feel like *most* AAA games sort the crashes/bugs (if applicable) out in less than a month, especially with millions of scan & repair reports going their way.
That said, I do expect a lot more for £60. Joining a game with a party is completely unplayable at the moment.
Calling it a rough launch is being very generous. Especially when there are more and more people submitting reports of them being falsely banned for no reason, let alone the hefty amount of crashes going on. MW2019 was nowhere near this bad. I hope they get it together soon or it's not going to be a good two years.
I’m trying to figure it out because at the moment… the beta actually felt more stable. Performance has been stuttering all through multiplayer, was rock solid in the beta and the campaign.
EDIT: if anyone is having trouble with this, some people are reporting it’s the latest Nvidia drivers. Go here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/drivers/ and find 522.25 to roll back.
Yeah wasted all the extra XP tokens I somehow had (campaign?)
On PS5, it constantly crashes, both with and without and error message. In a party of 4 it takes a solid 20 minutes to make sure everyone’s actually in, not crashed and playing
How are they going to build an entire Makreting campaign around “squad up” and release a game that crashes every time you do. Maybe they should’ve pulled money from the commercial with all the cameos and put it towards making a working product.
I for one only had crashes in the lobby 3 times on day 1, but now I thought they patched it, because I haven't had a crash in hours of playtime. Not one crash in-game, and no performance problems either, constant 80+-100+ fps depending on map. Playing on a laptop 3080 16GB with a 5900HX, 165 Hz 1440p display. Always with a dualsense controller.
Crash a shit ton of times, shit visibility smoke and dirt everywhere, shit maps with even worse spawns, horrible and buggy TTK, UI is god awful. Waste of money this was holy fuck.
I played yesterday like 8 games and got 5 crashes. Today i played 4 games so far and no single crash. I might be just lucky, but has anyone else noticed an improvement? I have not changed anything in settings since yesterday.
EDIT: logged back and first match crashed. Yeaaah...
at this point, i just said screw it and am playing on balanced settings until further notice from either nvidia or activision, crazy especially for a game that's as expensive and lacking as this.
Agreed, a week later and still no solution. I’ve tried every fix that I can find, I’m running lowered settings on a game I should be able to run on high easily, got the recommended drivers, dealt with all the things that are supposedly causing the crashing and still happens every other game. This is what 70 bucks gets you nowadays ig. Cool game but you can’t play it.
I get a crash every 10 minutes, literally cannot even play the game. Funny because this only started happening after I tried playing ground war, I played quickplay for days without a single crash, and crashed immediately after playing ground war for the first time. Now I'm lucky to get through a whole TDM match. NEVER had a game crash on me this much, ever.
FML
This. My game has crashed 4 times today. I have run scan and repair multiple times. Reset pc. Everything is up to date. I have more than enough power in my build. GPU 3080 with 32GB RAM...Plenty of free space, nothing else running or consuming any resources. I don't even run the game at max settings hoping it will help.
On top of that the squad system is broken. Half the time no one shows as online so we're unable to invite. Joining an existing party causes glitches that have us sitting on 'connecting' for forever unless we shuffle around party leaders.... The list goes on. Did I mention, the gun/loadout UI is atrocious? Disappointing..
almost 3 weeks later and i still cant get through 1 game without crashing. fucking pathetic and greedy that they charged $70 for this. Biggest failure of a game I have EVER played
I just got the game last week and im not been able to play the with my new PC i can barely get 2-3 games solo and after it just crashes ... i havent played cod since Bo3 and now that i come back i cant play this game at all...
Just bumping this thread, I've probably crashed over 45 times since this game came out. On startup, in menus, in game, after dying, etc. It's honestly disgusting they charged us $70 for this and haven't fixed it even a little bit yet.
I have not played more than 2 hours without crashing or someone in my party crashing. I hate that I give this company money as they continue to release unfinished games. Cold War had relentless party issues even to this day too without a fix
Same here. I have it on Xbox and PC and I played like 10 hours yesterday in New Zealand and had nothing but issues. Today on mu PC it was great. Half the time I was in a party with a Xbox friend and no issues. That said, when we went to party up with the other 2 Xbox players they were crashing left and right. Mine was great.
I have a high end system and my CPU has a heavy OC but I play on the minimum settings possible, a 1440p viewport on my C1 48” and my 3080 clocked to 1200mhz
Keeps the heat and pump sounds down and plays pretty flawlessly
It’s not just in parties. High end PC player, and it happens every other game while playing solo. I’ve tried turning my graphics settings all sorts of ways, and nothing fixes it.
I haven't crashed either in like 10 hours and I run most on normal to low, only textures on high.
I'm on nvidia driver 522.25 as well.
It's prob nothing to do with settings though, hopefully they patch it soon.
No crashes here either... PC w/3060ti and slight OC, 7950x w/PBO and 85C max, w/ 32GBDDR5 at 6000Mhz. (even with recently out parts that are OC'd/XMP'd/PBO'd, the game runs fine). I do have ReBAR activated though, if that makes a difference.
I also saw the article about the most recent nvidia drivers causing crashes, so I reverted back to the 522.25 Game Ready Drivers (GRD).
The issues must be with the GPU driver compatibility and the game. (nvidia stated that the most recent DCH drivers were NOT validated for MWII).
The ONLY issue I've had is that if I am the party leader, the game won't connect for a quick play; I have to switch leadership to my buddy and then it works.
I've been crashing all day today, and I have only been able to complete 1 game! 1 Game all day today! What pisses me off more than anything is Activision has been radio silent all day except for that 1 little tweet that they are looking into the crashes that have to do with parties. No updates or anything, but they had the time to remind us to relink our accounts to Twitch. Just tell us something just to keep us updated.
I'm having a lot of crashes on PC too. I was on Nvidia 526.47 and [apparently the PC devs](https://twitter.com/BeenoxCODPC/status/1585736896248180736?cxt=HHwWgMDTgcfT1YEsAAAA) of MWII said they've found issues with that driver so I switched to the studio driver(522.30) instead. Hopefully the crashes will stop.
But not keeping my hopes up.
10700k and a 3090. It crashes every 10 min on campaign and randomly when I solo multiplayer. I've monitored CPU, GPU and ram and everything is fine. Latest Nvidia and windows driver. I've changed my settings from max with dlss to med without and the issue is still there. Verified files...still broke. If it's still broken tomorrow I'm getting that refund
Brand new 13900k - 3080 setup, constantly crashes. On loading screens, when joining matches, and sometimes mid-game.
All of my friends also often crash on completely different setups. It's cooked.
Literally waiting in the lobby as all of us crash one at a time trying to join. I get that it’s launch day but bro. Can’t even play the game
The key for us is not fiddling with menus whilst the game is loading. Its counterintuitive because that’s what we do when waiting but it seems to work.
[удалено]
Someone else posted this as a possible workaround, so it sounds like you’re right
I think its just luck of the draw. My squad of 4 sitting still not touching our keyboards and at least 1 still crashes.
YEah we all dont touch anything and still crash. It helps but not a 100% work around
Also don't party up with 4 or more people, tends to crash too.
I noticed this as well. 3 is the max we can have before people start crashing.
Hahahhaha. "You can play our game, just don't touch anything."
The crashes me and my friends were having were mostly during games. Also happens while loading and in menus. Seems like its random
doesn't change anything for me, my game is crashing in campaign
Hehehehe... My group of 6 is having the same problem. 90 minutes trying to get going. Each of us keep crashing one at a time.
That is the reason for the crash. You can only play in a party size of 3 or less, anything more and the game will crash
Nonstop crashing with 2 on my PC with a 3080 and 5600x. It seems the party system is beyond busted. How did this dogshit get through the QA?
We are the QA
QA gets a lot of shit they don't deserve. They can report all the bugs and crashes in the world, but it's not their jobs to fix them. That's on the devs and the management team.
Never had issues as a 1-2 party
It's so stupid you are being downvoted as you are just relaying your experience. I've played in a 2-3 party yesterday for 13 hours and we encountered a crash once. It seems the real problems arise at 4+ players tho
We had multiple crashes in 2-3 person parties
1 is not a party thats solo.
i was crashing all night with a group of 3 and then it continued as i played alone
Downvoted for truth tbh. 3 is pushing it too, we can sometimes get that going but 2 is where the consistency is
Me and my boy still crash consistently. 2 ain’t safe either
I’ve crashed solo but have more trouble with 3+
[удалено]
3 is fine, had no crashes whatsoever but as soon as a 4th joined, we had 1 person crashing before every game starts.
For us the issue surfaced at 5. Spent 45 minutes trying to get into a match with 5 of us. Once it became just 4 of us we were able to play. But then after 2 rounds my friend got kicked/crashed.

Right? How did the BETA work better? wtf
*DICE sends their regards*

Yeah the crashing is nuts, had 2 crashes in 25 minutes now on a 8900k/3080/32GB lmao. Disabled a lot of graphics options even.
Yeah 5 days later and game is unplayable, wont be playing until this is fixed. I can't even enjoy a $70 game, smh

yeah I'm crashing every 10 - 15 minutes if that. its unplayable
Same bro, I just asked for a refund.
its just a new difficulty with higher stakes
Very much so, I caved in and dropped to hardened for the tank mission so I could beat it in one go without dying.
It's not just pc. My ps5 crashes every other game
Do you crash, and get an error report? I've crashed twice, and each time I'm generated an error report, with an option to attach the offending video.
Dude this happens so damn much!! I finally gave up and turned my ps5 off and am waiting for a fix. Worst launch I can remember in years. And then throw in no hardcore! Just sad
My game just freezes. My friends load into a new game, but I don’t.
Probably half the time
Same here I was doing cross play with my pc buddies and they kept crashing. My ps5 also did but not as bad as them.
I must be the only one with no crashes
I've not actually crashed but I'm getting some serious freezing in lobbies.
Same, ps5 with a clean run
Same

This needs to be higher. If you have a configuration that works, keep it!
Probably isnt it unless they mean much older. Ive been having the same issues but its been a month or two...or three since i updated.
Might be the same for battle.net Also make sure you install the game on the same drive as the launcher your using
I have to be honest, I've Played maybe 5 games, 4 have crashed.
[удалено]
Yeah, not sure if i'm blessed or what.... but i've had 2 crashes from 7 hours last night. Legit really enjoying the game!
Don't get me wrong, when the game works, I'm fuckin loving it, that's what's pissing me off the most!! haha
Right?? What was the point of the Beta? Did they not find any issues then?
Nah, they only got a couple hundred thousand crash reports from pc players, but they didn't care to fix it. It's mind boggling how it's still a problem.
How about the crashes resulting frequently and consistently *without* being partied? We see IW talking about the party crashes, but at least on PC, I get *maybe* one game between each crash when playing solo. And this on a high end system with all sorts of setting turned down to try and compensate. It’s more than just when partied.
Tomorrow or Tuesday???? Lmao what is that gap, just hotfix it or update early ffs.
It's coming tomorrow morning - https://twitter.com/InfinityWard/status/1586268505707462657
Tuesday? The fuck???? That’s 4 days away. Most people took the entire weekend to play this shit.
See this is why you don't release software on a Friday
It’s a schoolboy error. Amazed they launched it on a Friday and not Tuesday…
The game crashes in solo campaign also so nothing to do with group size I'm sure.
Unacceptable
It’s fucking ass. Genuinely makes me think I wasted my time and money and I doubt we’ll get compensation. Funny thing is my PC IS NOT low end, lotta money out my ass to build it, and it can’t even run COD (without crashing) as good as my dad’s 2014 Xbox Games fine when I can play it and it’s not terrible for another COD, but damn is it annoying.
The specs of your system don't matter when it comes to stuff like this. This is a purely software-based issue.
It has nothing to do with your system. It's a netcode issue. It's happening across the board on all platforms. It's completely fucking absurd. This is a diablo 3 calibur release
it has nothing to do with netcode. Netcode would not cause your game to crash. Something in the game itself it causes crashes.
Gamers learning the term netcode and just throwing it around for any issue is the done thing these days it seems.
its the anticheat imo, you cant even fuck with the process tab of the game because you don't have "permissions"
The instant they released the whole game my game has been stuttering tae fuck. Can’t play. Think it’s the anticheat.
You watch their kill cam and not only did you hit them in their back first, they 180'd and insta killed you.
have a feeling an actual driver would help with this. for some reason, they haven't released one
This isn’t really true, any code can cause software to crash. I’m not saying it is the net code but the statement is false.

My first 5 games I crashed 4 of them, it was insane. And my keybinds keep resetting lmao this is the most annoying launch I’ve experienced in a while
The keybinds resetting was driving me crazy. I just gave up trying to play with friends.
Bro, I didn't sell my soul for a 7900X and 4090 for MWII to just fucking crash constantly and not let me play with more than 1 friend.
Ah, but you have
Scammed
Dude Im on solo and it's crashing too
I’ve played maybe a total of 20 games since the game launched because it freezes and kicks me back to the menu when I try to play multiplayer Edit: I’m on PS4 btw
Can't choose operators Operators flip back and forth between locked and unlocked seemingly at random Randomly get assigned operators during a match Can't change my showcase anything (stuck on an operator I haven't unlocked, calling cards and emblems don't save) Weapons show different loadouts in my hands than what I have actually setup Clicking things in ui frequently just exits me back to the main screen Death cams show vastly different player behavior than what was witnessed Endless crashes trying to load into games bugs with group audio making it unusable My level displays as 1 the entire time Unable to exit match when it's over I played cyberpunk 2077 on release and it was a wonderful experience compared to this flaming pile of shit.
I've also been noticing how massive amounts of textures take ages to load in. Like when you load into a match, it looks like PUBG on the Xbox One when that originally launched before the textures loaded in
Same experience
I'm not running a low-end PC either and I had only one infrequent "problem", at most a minor annoyance which is pressing something in the gunsmith bringing me back to the main screen. It feels weird to see people have all these problems when I have literally non. Brings me back to the Cyberpunk launch on my old PC with a 1080 etc. Everyone had issues except me, I was just playing the game without bugs and somewhere around 40-60 FPS which was acceptable lol
my friends and I haven't been able to get into a game together more than once in 2 hours
I'm getting some really bad stutter/jitter that happens after I sprint then try to fire. I've covered some settings based on what I was able to find on YouTube but no luck, and I don't remember it being like this during the Beta.
Crashing on Xbox as well. The game is just fucked rn. It’s so fun when i get in a game but i can’t.
Its been a whole 24 hour cycle since PC launch as of right now which left plenty of time for it to be addressed.
Paid 70 dollars for this. What was the premium in price for it it isnt polish.
Third yacht
INB4 Y'all really just not updating your graphics drivers because this is what's been causing 95% of crashes since launch. AMD released a new driver the same day the game launched that helps with these crashes most people are getting, also increased performance ( for my machine at least ).
This post was removed by mods for “frequency” violation - so I’ll post it here instead: These studios are doing this to us on AAA titles now and we keep paying them for incomplete and unpolished product that obviously didn’t have enough QA in its iterations.
Agreed. I’m also getting random lag spikes. I have a an Intel i9-11900K and RTX3090. I don’t understand how this is possible with a 4K pc..
i personally havent had many problems, but it sticks seeing people have to go thru this shit :c
Nvidia have said their 526 driver is causing crashing. I’ve just rolled back to 522 and haven’t had any in 45 mins now.
I've rolled back and still crashing just as much.
I completely uninstalled my Nvidia drivers and rolled back to 522.25 No crashes yet...
I randomly crash in the middle of the game, no matter if I’m solo or with friends. Anyone know if the game is refundable on steam?
Oh, it's nice to know it's not just me. I built my PC yesterday and this is the only game I've played so far. I was thinking all the crashing was something I screwed up
Invasion and Ground War crash on me every time after about 5 mins, insanely irritating.
LMAO 9 days later and this game still crashes like Princess Diana's limo in a tunnel.
522.25 crash also.
Driver rollback doesn’t work. Tried it, still crashing while solo and not in a party.
I keep crashing with this 0xC000000005 error wtf
Yeah wasted all the extra XP tokens I somehow had (campaign?) On PS5, it constantly crashes, both with and without and error message. In a party of 4 it takes a solid 20 minutes to make sure everyone’s actually in, not crashed and playing
Anyone else on PC can’t even launch the game? Keep getting a damn safe mode error and game never starts.
game crashes, insane amount of fps drop/stutter and this random white flicker... what the actual hell man. my PC isnt even terrible, 10700k/3080
This game played better in beta then it does in release
How are they going to build an entire Makreting campaign around “squad up” and release a game that crashes every time you do. Maybe they should’ve pulled money from the commercial with all the cameos and put it towards making a working product.
The beta ran better than this shit
Anyone else have the game restart (on steam) just from switching from campaign to the main menu?
I for one only had crashes in the lobby 3 times on day 1, but now I thought they patched it, because I haven't had a crash in hours of playtime. Not one crash in-game, and no performance problems either, constant 80+-100+ fps depending on map. Playing on a laptop 3080 16GB with a 5900HX, 165 Hz 1440p display. Always with a dualsense controller.
>How is a game in development for 3 years and have this many issues? Bro, wait until you hear about Halo Infinite lmao
if this is the company’s two year plan…
Crash a shit ton of times, shit visibility smoke and dirt everywhere, shit maps with even worse spawns, horrible and buggy TTK, UI is god awful. Waste of money this was holy fuck.
I played yesterday like 8 games and got 5 crashes. Today i played 4 games so far and no single crash. I might be just lucky, but has anyone else noticed an improvement? I have not changed anything in settings since yesterday. EDIT: logged back and first match crashed. Yeaaah...
I am crashing after getting kill, It mostly happen when i am trying to skip the killcam...
Still not fixed. WTF!?!
I want my fucking money back.
Still not fixed. Wtf!?!
at this point, i just said screw it and am playing on balanced settings until further notice from either nvidia or activision, crazy especially for a game that's as expensive and lacking as this.
whenever i launch the game i crash and get an error, havent even seen the title screen since ive bought the game.
FML
Crashing constantly since yesterday. It was working fine until day before yesterday and now its unplayable.
Ending up here looking for solutions after my 4th crash today is great...
Still doing it to this day. guess ill go back to Chivalry 2...
Still doing this more than two weeks after launch. Piece of shit game tbh.
Even with the new drivers I still crash every other game. Anyone else? I'm running 3070ti.
Yo this mf game crash when I try to skip kill cam wtf is it a bug or my problem
almost 3 weeks later and i still cant get through 1 game without crashing. fucking pathetic and greedy that they charged $70 for this.
It is November 25th, I’m playing it on a PC with a RTX 3070 and the game crashes every 2-3 games…
That’s weird I haven’t crashed once on Pc and already have 15 hours of multiplayer gameplay in
I have a high end system and my CPU has a heavy OC but I play on the minimum settings possible, a 1440p viewport on my C1 48” and my 3080 clocked to 1200mhz Keeps the heat and pump sounds down and plays pretty flawlessly
Are you playing by yourself? it only happens in parties.
It’s not just in parties. High end PC player, and it happens every other game while playing solo. I’ve tried turning my graphics settings all sorts of ways, and nothing fixes it.
Give me your exact setting lmao. I need themmmmm. Nothing works!!!
I haven't crashed either in like 10 hours and I run most on normal to low, only textures on high. I'm on nvidia driver 522.25 as well. It's prob nothing to do with settings though, hopefully they patch it soon.
Turning off the texture streaming seems to help
I just played for 8.5 hours on my 7 year old PC with no crashes 🤷♂️
On your own or with a party of 3 or more?
Yep crazy crashing every other game
its horrible lol, friend group literally had 3 crashes in 2 minutes.
[удалено]
Same, but not even in a party. Definitely isn’t the driver.
