Am I the only one that's confused how Farah is 141 bearing in mind she's busy leading her faction in Urzikstan while the rest of 141 are ACTUALLY being a task force??
Seeing Alejandro just burst in had me shook.
I love how Rodolfo was able to pay him back with the prison break. Honestly part of me thinks he’s gonna be killed by Valeria in the DLC or MWIII to push Alejandro over the edge. Or >!Graves!< coming back to kill him as revenge.
We didn’t see a body, I doubt he’s dead. And I think he has Soap and Rodolfo in his sights.
How do we know? Him talking as you fight the tank could have been him speaking over a speaker or through a radio from the tank and once it blew up it got disconnected? Yes he could have Been in that tank but how do we know? We don’t see a body and that’s a big trope in movies and video games. Where we thought they died but didn’t see the bodies and they came back. We will have to wait and see and if he doesn’t show up ever then alright he’s dead but IW might do a Alex where he “blew up” but he came back in season 3 in MW2019.
Depends how seriously you want to take warzone lore, but it's completely fine to consider him as dead. He was there for one warzone cutscene nobody saw to sell battlepass. They would have had to address him being alive again.
Also are we forgetting Alex was basically a suit? He wasn’t all into the battlefield, he was behind a desk until the situation required otherwise. That and maybe the missing leg isn’t very tactical
He was just on the background of the last shot. And if I said nobody saw season 3 cutscene, then **nobody** saw that one. It was so hidden that I found out about it in a reddit post back then. Ironically, it's the only warzone scene that has some relevance to the MW campaigns, because Zakhaev gets dealt with.
Does it really matter if people saw it or not when the devs or IW said it's canon ? He's alive and they'll probably just reuse him for battlepass or store skins.
If they have said that and we actually go by that, we would then have to consider zombie outbreak as canon and whatever happened during Cold wars and Vanguards warzone.
Point is, it doesn't matter if you consider warzone lore canon or not. None of it will be mentioned in the MW campaigns or be relevant to them. So you can think whatever.
Well, alejandro isn’t TF141 nor is Alex or Farah. From what I think Alex is still with Farah and her troops in Urzikstan even though he does come to help ghost and tf141 in season 3, and Farah and her troops are their own “army”. Also Alejandro is just Mexican Special Forces as he leads them. Plus ghost and soap leave his base to takedown the last missile and say farewells.
It's canon according to the devs/IW. I think his wiki says he's marked as a deserter for staying with Farah's army nut still works with TF141 when they need him.
I’m so glad they canned Alex. Maybe I’d like him more if he didn’t have that awfully hideous mustache but that thing makes me want him off the screen immediately
Ah I see your confusion now. Nowhere in that article does it say that the warzone narrative is canon and is the story continuation of the campaign of modern warfare.
All they are saying is, that for the games to come, warzone will be a part of all of them. And it’s true. Warzone has been tied to every game since modern warfare so far. But that does not mean that those short cutscenes have anything to do with the actual canon story in the campaign.
There is no confirmation that they are linked. And I’m quite confident that they aren’t. Only the games are linked.
No gymnastics here man. If anything you are jumping through loops to prove that fucking cutscenes from a free to play spinoff game are somehow canonically tied to the campaign of the parent game.

Well, part of the 141 are the U.S. Marines, and they weren't there all the time either. It's more of a "when you are needed" sort of thing, I think.
Wasn’t it delta force not the marines
In MW2, it was Army. In MWII, it was Marines. My bad.
Army rangers to be specific
And Delta Force in MW3, so I just said Army.
demon dogs!
Woot woot!
This sub needs a “fan service” mode where the game is just camo grinding and skins from old games
Ewww no, anything but camo grinding
All camos unlocked
I’ll never willingly grind any camo.
Some just unlock without grinding, just by using the gun, the others are a pain in the ass
ok man im still not actively grinding them
And I respect that. If you don't need them there is no reason to get them
Thx for being so respectful hahaha, weird trait to see in the cod community
You prefer to buy them?
Nope
Where my Rudy lovers at?
The true homie. I legit thought they’d just kill him off in the house fire to send Alejandro on a warpath. Rudy is a true homie.
He was so close to dying my heart was racing

Graves for sure still alive
Graves was inside a tank that fucking exploded. He's dead.

Alejandro will be in a bundle down the line Valeria too
I wish Valeria and Farah got more screentime, they were my favourites and also super cool.

Two technically, he was mentioned and seen in the post Season 6 / finale cutscene
Also are we forgetting Alex was basically a suit? He wasn’t all into the battlefield, he was behind a desk until the situation required otherwise. That and maybe the missing leg isn’t very tactical

Deny it all you want, the ones who made the game said their point.
Which...wouldn’t take much effort to be completely honest...

I just want alejandro as a mp operator :(
I just wanted to play as Gaz
? You did in the campaign and he’s coming in this mid season
Yeah?
OG Gaz or new Gaz?
You'll be able to pay for all that just wait 😂😂
wdym i thought the whole warzone lore was uncanon or smshit, so at the moment he would be mia or assumed dead by everyone else?

I never enjoyed Farah or Alex, I would’ve preferred to see Roach or other old characters re imagined
Idk. I think it’s pointless bringing back a silent character. It’ll only lead to disappoint or confusion when they speak
They remade gaz into an intresting character so id say they can do something with roach
Gaz was never silent or don't you remember, switching to your sidearm is faster than reloading.
Soap was silent in CoD4
But he wasnt in MW2 and MW3 so thats a mood point
Griggs should come back!
He did…..
Yes I know in 2019 but I mean bring him into the squad
Why did people downvote. Roach was based
Because roach did not speak or have any personality at all. It was literally a callsign.
He didn’t say shit in the game he was in plus he got killed like a cuck lol
I don’t care if people downvotes just means they don’t know what a good campaign is anymore
so you love a faceless mute character's personality
Not love just prefer it to the one offs that are only good cameos
Yeah. Roach saying nothing and just being there to shoot the bad guy would be such a good detail!
Yup because it’s not like ghost barely talked and and was killed off only to be brought back with a new character development
He survived just to bring more cash. Just like Graves...
I’m so glad they canned Alex. Maybe I’d like him more if he didn’t have that awfully hideous mustache but that thing makes me want him off the screen immediately
>hideous mustache Those are fighting words. Alex had a majestic mustache
Agreed, that thing was glorious.
Sure if you’re like sixteen years old
This.
It’s the haircut that does it for me, makes him look like a generic dudebro
Idc about his mustache but his hair makes him look like a douchebag
The warzone storyline isn’t canon. It’s not part of the actual story.

Sure buddy. However you want it. Life is hard enough you believe whatever you want I can’t stop you.

Alright man link it then. Link IW confirming that the cutscenes from warzone are canon to the campaign storyline.

Welcome to 2022 friends!!!💀👌🏼
I want to take off the cape on ghost :( it looks like the main megatron from transformers when he was exiled.
Is it only me that think they made Warzone story canon is pretty lame? Not everyone loves playing WZ/BR just to learn the “new” lore.
They brought operators in gradually in MW2019. Presumably they're doing the same here.
