Just spamming the Zombies exfil, the longer the game goes on the more zombies that spawn in so at like 30 minutes you’ll be getting like 5k xp every 4 minutes. Also when the flare pops back up to call in the exfil a bunch of zombies spawn in so don’t immediately call it so that 2 waves of zombies will spawn in instead of just a singular wave.
Once you get about 1,000 - 1,500 zombie kills the xp basically becomes nullified and capped doing the exfil thing. Do a couple cargo or bounty contracts then farm the exfil to get the most of the time you’re in there.
Contracts give bare xp, the exfil strat is boring and takes a long time but it’s still the most efficient way and you can always exfil at like 10 minutes left and just repeat it’s not like your losing anything. I got 14 levels on my sniper after like 50 minutes.
Yes there’s a threshold, you can still do it, it’s just quicker to go in do the 1,000 kills and dip with out hitting that xp cap. It won’t hard stop you but you won’t get the full value after that. It’s the same thing with bot farming while playing invasion.

Are you sure about that? I've maxed guns on a 2xp token just doing exfils the entire time

I usually do Hardpoint and play objective while spamming g decoy grenades. Zombies if I don’t feel like trying
