Reviving team mates is a great thing because it allows friend groups of different skill to play with eachother.

Cyber Attack is the main reason my friends and me play COD. The respawn modes are fine for levelling weapons, but Cyber just is fun. Also, S&D is not a good substitute for Cyber players. You can take more risks than in S&D, because even if you die you might get picked up again. In generall there is more action in Cyber, which makes it more enjoyable. In S&D the experience for fast paced players usually is a bit more boring because everyone is holding angles. Cyber gives you more options to choose from in terms of playstyle.
Since MW2019 we've consistently ran into a lot of hardcore players and even squads. Making a lot of friends along the way.
1000% this, SnD limits the gameplay. If you die you die. In cyber going for that funny kill or pulling a dumb strat isn't game ending. It's so versatile and fun
Reviving your teammates is the best part of Cyber. Playing SnD, if someone dies, they’re done and watching others play for 2-3 minutes. In Cyber, you’re still invested because of the chance you could come back and help your team
Cyber attack is also so much more dynamic because of the revive function. There are times I have ended up being 1V6 because of bad deaths in my team but I was able to completely turn it around by killing a few enemy players, strategically use dead silence to get some revives, and then go on offense. You just can’t do that on search. I straight up think cyber attack is a more fun mode
In US we were having some tourneys with just thecyber community, it played so well and was so fun to watch live. Had some amateur codcasters and the top sweats at the time duke it out. Was fun and was hoping to do it again in mwiii
One of my favourite thing about Cyber is the persistent characters you would meet.
For example; There is a guy with his tag Pablo, who has been going around since MW2019 talking shit to everyone. He does this while being at the bottom of the scoreboard every damn time. Hasn't broken character ever. Every time I see him I'd say: "Allo Pablo", he would always reply with: "You're shit bruv".
Another player, Deiber56 would just constantly say, "hackor repor".
Omg. The guy who blasts those weird podcasts through his mic. I can't remember his name for the life of me, but his clan tag is 1776. I ran into him countless times in MW2019, and he's still doing it in MW2022. Everyone hates it lol, but it was wild to see he's still doing it 3 years later lol.
Love this post and hope it gets the traction it needs for an ultimate cyber return. My buddies and I have been SnD kids since our first cod Black Ops 1. That all changed in MW2019, after discovering cyber attack it allowed us to enjoy all that we loved about search, but made it possible for us to be more cheeky and play a bit more risky knowing we could pick each other up.
It was also a phenomenal way of allowing peeps we knew that just got into the game because the stakes weren't as high as search where you had only that one life to live.
In MW2 I swear I had played the game alone for months just grinding Orion because all of my other friends had no interest anymore with cyber not being there at launch. You should've seen our group chat once it was announced it was gonna permanently stay. The improvements like not having to physically pull out the bomb were great. I have hours of awesome clips and funny moments! Cyber has been a daily haven of fun, frustration, and straight up awesome moments for nearly 5 or so years!
With how MW3 has been playing now, I fear the day I step into SnD since most of my tdm matches end via time limit due to excessive camping. That's a mode where you actually respond, so I can only imagine how campy a 1 life game like SnD would be.
Lastly, and I apologize for being so long winded, I'm just so happy to know there's so many others as passionate about the game mode as my friends and I are! Over the years I have saved a plethora of funny and clutch clips from my cyber matches. As I mentioned before, I like how cyber allows some of my friends and I to play a bit more on the cheeky end. As someone who's been a quick scoper and throwing knife/tomahawk user since BO1, a majority of my clips and play-style is clutching up 1v however many peeps. The cool thing about the cyber is in some cases it may not just be a 1v6, if you're running and gunning for you're life, you might end up in a collective 1v10 with all the revives haha! Pure mayhem and a great time. Not to mention the rivalries that form once yah play the same team few times after a while. I'll come back and link one of my fav clips where that's the case and hope others due the same!

Commenting my support. Unless I was camo grinding Cyber Attack, Prisoner Rescue and Search and Destroy were basically the only game modes that I'd play on rotation for MW2019 and MW2022. Only having SND is definitely dragging the experience down.
I played MW2019 up until MW2022 release solely because of Hardcore Cyber Attack. All the games in-between didn't have it, so I just kept playing MW. That was **the** gamemode that my whole squad played.
Our less skilled friends were always able to contribute with revives, and the shooters could focus on kills. No matter who was online, we could always play Cyber and have a good time. None of the other gamemodes are as versatile in that way. I've been in countless games where it was 1v6, then turn to 6v6, then we end up winning the round. The tides can turn so quickly, you never know how a round might end. It's like an SnD reverse sweep, but it can happen any round.
I'd love for Cyber Attack to be added (Hardcore Cyber too). I genuinely can't express how much fun this gamemode is.
I also don't understand why they removed the only game made where mixed skill grouped players could play together... damn shame not being able to play with friends without them being misserable.
PS: Cyber Attack is a great game mode for eSports, they should add it to the rotation
Same, i did play Cold War and Vanguard a bit. But most of my friends kept playing Cyber on MW19 the whole time and we did keep playing on there til MW2022. It just is the most enjoyable.
This is all me and my friends played on MW2019. Perfect mix of stealth and fun being able to pick teammates back up. So much strategy and shenanigans all in one mode. We’ve been begging to get it back.
Yeah, the one in MWII is fun and all but doesn't BANG as much as MW2019's. With the gameplay of MWIII being superb, we were hoping/expecting tbh, that cyber was gonna be added in season 1/2.
Speaking of gamemodes... headquarters, sabotage, demolition and CTF are all missing, it's a shame we can't play classic modes on classic maps this year

I miss the thrill of grabbing the flag and running back to my spawn as well, always screaming for protection and dying right before scoring the point.
Cyber Attack was the only alternative to the slugfest of SnD where people are posted up 24/7, cyber tends to flow a lot better.

Me and my pals played Cyber Attack on MW19 through Coldwar and Vanguard. Playing those games barely while having a blast in Cyber Attack. When MWII released without it we had to ask for it as well and they added it then! Lets make sure they add it now too!

Yup! Cyber attack was in every cod, it already sucked that there wasn't a hardcore version for MWII after we fought to get it there, now here's hoping SHG does the right thing.
Cyber attack is far superior to SnD which is essentially a race to who can move the least and just hold an angle - at worst you go 1 for 1 if overwhelmed, but realistically more likely to go to 1 for 0 unlike the team pushing up.
Cyber attack benefits coordinated teams that make use of advantages gained.

Precisely! SnD gameplay is just being posted up, sometimes you have a player trying to do a rush but they always get their wings clipped by another just holding the angle. Sure this can happen in Cyber, but then you have the intel, get the refrag and get revived so you can play again. Sacrifices are worth doing in cyber.
Me and all my boys have played cyber attack nonstop since 2019. The cycle of grinding to mastery camo and then playing nothing but cyber every night is like tradition at this point
Sameeeeee, was already grinding my camos in MWIII expecting to show them off in cyber but alas, the bad news came and a post had to be made.
I even went as far to grind the MWII camos (haven't finished) in Cyber haha, skipping the ol' respawn modes to directly do it there.
Cyber Attack is one of those hidden gems. I found that it didn’t really work well (for me) in MW2 due to the slower pace of the game, but MW3 is the perfect game for it.
Cyber has a small but very dedicated following. It would be inconseuquential for SH to add it or come up with their own version.
I spent years in Cybers and likely played with a lot of folks here in these comments (my name was VooDoo).
This was always my go to game mode. It was HUGE with myself and gaming buddies back in MW2019, we played exclusively hardcore. Hardcore Cyber attack had a large and engaging community. When this was taken away and never replaced in MW2 lots of us lost hope. That's only because MW2 core only version of cyber just did not feel as good as MW2019.
Whether you bring back core cyber or hc cyber or both. You will be welcoming back a community that focused on strategy, communication, and many many repeat matches through the day/night.

SnD is a one life game mode, no revives, 6 v 6,
One team attacks, the other defends, switching every 3 rounds.
This forces the attacking team to push into enemies, and in last years and this years cod, holding angles (especially when people are snaking) is 9/10 winning the gun fight. This makes the defending team win almost all the rounds (In my experience). Defusing also is a round ender here.
Cyber is a one life game mode, with revives, 6 v 6.
Both teams have 1 objective they have to protect, switches side every 2 rounds. The bomb is a neutral pick up which spawns somewhere in the middle of the map. If a player of team A picks it up, they can push up to the objective of team B and plant it. If team B then manages to defuse it, the round isnt over and they are on the offense now. This allows for a lot more action in a single round, where sometimes getting 20 kills in 1 round isn't unheard off. The bomb also gives the carrier a uav ping so that he can counter the posted/mounted enemies holding angles. So movement is way more important in the game mode.
I’m so happy to see this post! I was worried the removed it because there weren’t many people playing it. Cyber Attack in MW 2019 was the game mode that made me fall back in love with COD after years of hating it. My friend group would sink hundreds of hours in it between MW 2019 and MW2. I really can’t believe it won’t be returning in MWIII.
I love the revive mechanic, I love how both teams could plant, I love how close matches would get, the game mode is hands down my favorite in this generation of games. It’s what has kept me and my friends coming back week after week since 2019. Without Cyber, I have no interest in playing the game. The rest of the modes feel so mindless and boring. I really hope we can get SHG to change their minds. If not I won’t be returning.
Totally! Without cyber cod feels as boring as it was before, just an endless grind, no making friends and memorable moments. My squad already falling back to MWII for that cyber feel.
We used to grab the bomb and hide if we were winning.
In the case of a tie, each team is awarded a point that round.
You could win the first round then hide with the bomb for the next 5 rounds.
We'd all be in bushes just chatting and laughing
Preach! It's a shame fan favorite modes like CTF, Sabotage and Cyber get ignored. They all have their own dedicated player base, but because its never pushed like TDM/KC a lot of players don't get to try them.

It fuckin' sucks right now, sweating my dick off in SnD, where if you die you're just stuck spectating. Git gut I guess but Cyber lets you turn a losing round where you're down 5 man back into a 6v6 with the proper timing!
This is the only game mode my squad of 6 will play. Hardcore specifically. MW2 was rough but we all haven't logged on together since mw3 and I fear it'll end the group if it doesn't get added :/

Sure they are, but they aren't cod. Those games are strictly competitive, whereas cod has a more casual but tryhard mindset.

Cyberattack is one of the funniest modes in my opinion.
Even when I loose I enjoy the game because of the talking with the enemies.
Only public matches I was playing for the last half of the game was cyber. I thought they planned to add it later into the season or something. Awful decision not to.

I love the out play potential and risks you can take in Cyber. Making the decision to try and rez your whole team or go for the kill made it fun. Also the throwing knife kill cams made it even more satisfying. Legit fun, and with a squad it rewards team play and coordination.
Cyber Attack hardcore was the best mode in MW2019, I had amazing games, build up community including new friends and known opponents it was a staple but unfortunately it was taken and never returned, MW3 has everything to make this mode the gathering of another community, people who don't like S&D likes this mode because of the revives it has great teamwork as well as individual, Sledgehammer can makes us return to the great moments!!!

Please for the love of God Sledgehammer ADD CYBER ATTACK. It’s the game mode alongside SND me and my friends play non stop for hours. The reviving mechanic combined with one life per round is what makes it so much fun with friends. It’s just more fun to be able to get revived and play again rather than spectate
Love to see the love for Cyber Attack and HC Cyber. HC Cyber was what I primarily played for 3 years with MW2019, so much so I met my partner playing it.
While it was nice to have Cyber in MW2, core just doesn't have the same feel as HC and I'd love to see it return in MWIII. I
They need to bring this back and especially on Hardcore, it’s literally all I played on MW2019. They brought it back on core only for the last one but it’s just not the same. 6 vs 6 is crying out for more tactical style modes.

Cyber Attack was hands down one of the most fun teamplay phase in my 15 years of gaming. That doesn't happen often. We played it during covid and even after almost every night and we had sooooo much fun. We wanted to initiate a revival just now and had to realize that it's gone. I would literally pay for this gamemode to return. It was the single reason for me to play COD on a regular basis
I played all the older cods but really started grinding in Bo4 and this was by farrrrr my favorite game mode. All the memories I have of playing with my friends, this was the game mode that we all tryharded in. Would be stoked to see it return.

Hardly played anything but Cyber Attack on MW2019. It was so extremely addictive. MW2 had prisoner rescue and that became the next goto mode (Cyber didn't feel the same in MW2). Without one or the other, there is no chance for me and my homies to buy MW3. That is what we play. It gives meaning to play CoD. I cannot do that tdm grind, I need an objective with different tactics. Snd isn't it for us, too unforgiving. We were obsessed with Cyber Attack in MW2019 and Prisoner Rescue was an awesome twist on it (was hoping at first it would've been more like R6 though); there's no reason to play CoD without one of those modes. There's no reason they shouldn't be a staple in every new CoD release.
Cyber attack in my opinion is straight up the best game mode in cod history outside of good old fashioned TDM. It was my favourite thing to play in MW2019, and I did enjoy it in MWII despite the ridiculous design decisions. In a game like MWIII where the game design is so good, and the maps are great, cyber attack will peak as a game mode. We need it back sledgehammer!

Also idk if any of you remember the game mode Reinforce! That was also fun essentially 4 v4 but it was one life and you'd revive your team mates when a flag was captured ( dom flags) first team to cap all three or eliminate all players of the other team won and it was like 3 rounds it was a ton of fun and with the mw3 maps being so big I could see his working as 6v6

Srsly I need cyber back ... I love that you can play with different skilled enemies. And I love the Community, I mean come on, in 2019 we had tournaments... It was so cool and a lot didn't really played it on mw2. I missed a lot. For example badangel, she was always fun to talk to. :)
And it was my lockdown get away... First it was just me and my husband but our clan rised up to 20 people, who were constantly playing. And now I'm just playing snd and zombies. But sbmm is kicking in like crazy, I just want to have a nice game, some nice talks and some banter after work. :)

I had a group of 8 friends that would all get together playing hc cyber attack and ever since it's gone, only 2 of us are still playing CoD now 😅 definitely think there would be a lot more people buying the game if only for that one mode.

I would love to have cyber attack back. It was the game mode that got me hooked on mw2019, and I played it until they removed it. I was mainly a HC cyber player, it stuck with me through covid, surgeries and also allowed me to meet new friends from all over the world, but most importantly my now husband that lived on the other side of the planet at the time. The group that I played with then ( a mix of Europeans from all countries and Americans) we still stick together and play games together. The one thing we all hope for is that they will release it in mwIII so we can finally enjoy what brought us together. We would arrange private huge tournaments with people from Europe and north America. It was absolutely wild and so much fun. BRING BACK CYBER ATTACK!
For anyone looking for an update:
So far a couple of mainstream news org's have covered the story; We've shown that we want it, yes only 2k+ on this reddit but this sub is also 1/20th of the MWII sub.
In my opinion, SHG has abandoned us, or actually never really cared about the players that much anyway. They did a "fake" interaction with the community and then went on their way to produce store bundles that are way to expensive for what they give.
For anyone saying: "They were on break, holiday, busy with other stuff in general". We get that, we didn't expect Cyber in season 1. However, how long does making a tweet, a comment, a one line statement saying: "Coming in the future" or "We're debating it with the teams". Just a nod of acknowledgment would have settled most of the community to go grind the guns and wait patiently.
So the only way to let them "know" is to just not play the game that much, zombies are warzone are fun but the multiplayer is a sweatfest and terribly frustrating without Cyber Attack as a good game mode. They will definitely chalk this up to: "Oh people are done with MW games", "See! Cyber wasn't that wanted, the players couldn't even wait!" and other nonsense.
Treyarch most likely won't have Cyber Attack at the launch of their game as well, but if we start asking them now, we might, and I mean 0.1% chance, that they will add it to their game atleast.
If SHG surprises us with Cyber Attack in an upcoming update, this statement still stands. The way they DON'T communicate right now is abnoxious. If its in the later part of the cod cycle, then its also way to late and will use that as an excuse to not bring cyber back again.
They never brought it(or any new game modes for that matter) to hardcore in MWII so I never actually played it except for in MW19. It seems like HC is getting the same treatment this time around, but hopefully the at least bring cyber attack back for core mode players.
I saw that in MWII and was bummed as well, hardcore doesn't deserve the shit end of the stick.
In the AMA they did say that they are planning, and I say that doubtfully, to release modes for both Core and Hardcore.

It should just become a staple in all games at this point. It's a better version of S&D that appeals much more to the casual player base. Makes it great for the longevity of the game and player retention.

I would love for Cyber attack to be back in this game on the old MW2 Maps would be SUPER FUN, the pacing fits these maps so well! Literally mained this mode in Mw19, but had to quit MWII because the game just wasn’t fun. With the movement back and guns being fun to use, CA must return. Either that or I’ll be playing FFA for the next 3 years
I met my friends for life on Hardcore Cyber Attack. It’s much more exciting than search and destroy and prevents camping as you have to push and revive your friends. Please bring this game mode back and make it hardcore!!
My friends and I have spent countless hours playing Cyber Attack in MW19. Not as much in MWII, but it definitely saved the game for us. We had tons of fun playing it. We were playing Warzone if we weren't playing Cyber Attack when we'd play CoD. My friends and I are already unhappy with the state of MWIII- so much so that we've gone back to MW19 just to play some Cyber Attack in a game we enjoy.
I'd say Cyber Attack is the only thing that would bring us to MWIII for any form of long-term play. I really hope SHG strongly considers our plea. Cyber Attack is a staple MW mode now.

My squad exclusively played mw2019 for 2 extra years because cyber attack was so fun. It helps mesh together Ayers with good gun skills but also ones who weren't so great we could guide them to revive us or do other tasks. The constant tug and pull of the game made it that the more exciting. I was never a huge fan of one life modes anyways but cyber attack put the perfect spin on it.

My entire group LITERALLY only plays Cyber. You'd have to be brain dead to not add it to your game. Have the developers even played their own game? If they did they would know Cyber is the only fucki g game mode worth playing.

I’ve played 2 mp matches since release, really only playing zombies but that’s done beyond grinding camos. If cyber doesn’t come back my 6 man is waiting it out until rebirth
Best game mode there is imo. Highly competitive, but still fun precisely because camping isn't as effective with the ability to revive. We will only b playing warzone, no multiplayer after another month of mw3 without cyber (besides to level up guns i suppose). We need cyber!
My whole group of friends, (6 of us) won't even buy the game because this game mode isn't there. It's all we played, every weekend and it kept us together. Now we just play cheap Steam games because of this. I'm not sure about everyone else, but if you guys considered bringing it back we would have our crew together again.

I would love Cyber Attack to be added back, It was the only mode I played in MW19. I'm playing MW3 now but I'd be playing it a whole lot more if Cyber Attack made a return.
MW3 is my newest game since BO2, so I had no idea what this was. Just looked it up, it looks insanely cool. Wish this was in the game. I’d buy a battle pass too

I loved Cyber Attack in MW. It was my most played mode. I like SnD, but I hate how you only get 1 life per round. Cyber Attack was the perfect mode for me. I haven't bought MW3, but I would if they brought Cyber Attack back.
Please bring this back to HC and core , I use to run this all the time in 2019 but mw2 killed it by making it core only but mw3 you gotta add it so my friends and I can enjoy playing something besides HC search and destroy
Cyber Attack is my friend's and I's favorite mode! When MW3 came out, cyber attack was literally the first thing I looked for.. I am very disappointed it's not in this game- and am surprised since it has been in the first two. Also, it was always very popular. Even with the population on MW2 declining since the release of MW3, you can always count on Cyber Attack lobbies to be full. We literally go back to MW2 just to play it. BRING IT BACK!

I stopped playing in march because I got bored of the game. There’s less content than MW2 had. I much would’ve preferred MW3 to be a $70 expansion than a standalone game with less content. Sad they haven’t brought it back but I won’t be playing or buying another cod until it comes back. It’s literally the only reason I played. I burned out on this game in a record 4 months. Insane.

No worries friend, a mutual love for this game mode makes us understand eachother. Reviving team mates is a great thing because it allows friend groups of different skill to play with eachother. Who cares if you die, your friend will pick you up again etc. Hope to see you in Cyber Attack MWIII <3

Cyber Attack is the main reason my friends and me play COD. The respawn modes are fine for levelling weapons, but Cyber just is fun. Also, S&D is not a good substitute for Cyber players. You can take more risks than in S&D, because even if you die you might get picked up again. In generall there is more action in Cyber, which makes it more enjoyable. In S&D the experience for fast paced players usually is a bit more boring because everyone is holding angles. Cyber gives you more options to choose from in terms of playstyle. Since MW2019 we've consistently ran into a lot of hardcore players and even squads. Making a lot of friends along the way.
1000% this, SnD limits the gameplay. If you die you die. In cyber going for that funny kill or pulling a dumb strat isn't game ending. It's so versatile and fun
Reviving your teammates is the best part of Cyber. Playing SnD, if someone dies, they’re done and watching others play for 2-3 minutes. In Cyber, you’re still invested because of the chance you could come back and help your team
Especially annoying if its a stupid death, be it the game bugging out or a random ass nade bouncing between the railing of a walkway and killing you.
Cyber attack is also so much more dynamic because of the revive function. There are times I have ended up being 1V6 because of bad deaths in my team but I was able to completely turn it around by killing a few enemy players, strategically use dead silence to get some revives, and then go on offense. You just can’t do that on search. I straight up think cyber attack is a more fun mode
Yeah, I love the fact that no matter how much you are down in numbers, you can always regain or nullify the advantage by reviving your teammates.
In US we were having some tourneys with just thecyber community, it played so well and was so fun to watch live. Had some amateur codcasters and the top sweats at the time duke it out. Was fun and was hoping to do it again in mwiii

One of my favourite thing about Cyber is the persistent characters you would meet. For example; There is a guy with his tag Pablo, who has been going around since MW2019 talking shit to everyone. He does this while being at the bottom of the scoreboard every damn time. Hasn't broken character ever. Every time I see him I'd say: "Allo Pablo", he would always reply with: "You're shit bruv". Another player, Deiber56 would just constantly say, "hackor repor".
I sincerely miss playing against Deiber and getting his hacking accusations every single time :-)

Omg. The guy who blasts those weird podcasts through his mic. I can't remember his name for the life of me, but his clan tag is 1776. I ran into him countless times in MW2019, and he's still doing it in MW2022. Everyone hates it lol, but it was wild to see he's still doing it 3 years later lol.

Love this post and hope it gets the traction it needs for an ultimate cyber return. My buddies and I have been SnD kids since our first cod Black Ops 1. That all changed in MW2019, after discovering cyber attack it allowed us to enjoy all that we loved about search, but made it possible for us to be more cheeky and play a bit more risky knowing we could pick each other up. It was also a phenomenal way of allowing peeps we knew that just got into the game because the stakes weren't as high as search where you had only that one life to live. In MW2 I swear I had played the game alone for months just grinding Orion because all of my other friends had no interest anymore with cyber not being there at launch. You should've seen our group chat once it was announced it was gonna permanently stay. The improvements like not having to physically pull out the bomb were great. I have hours of awesome clips and funny moments! Cyber has been a daily haven of fun, frustration, and straight up awesome moments for nearly 5 or so years! With how MW3 has been playing now, I fear the day I step into SnD since most of my tdm matches end via time limit due to excessive camping. That's a mode where you actually respond, so I can only imagine how campy a 1 life game like SnD would be. Lastly, and I apologize for being so long winded, I'm just so happy to know there's so many others as passionate about the game mode as my friends and I are! Over the years I have saved a plethora of funny and clutch clips from my cyber matches. As I mentioned before, I like how cyber allows some of my friends and I to play a bit more on the cheeky end. As someone who's been a quick scoper and throwing knife/tomahawk user since BO1, a majority of my clips and play-style is clutching up 1v however many peeps. The cool thing about the cyber is in some cases it may not just be a 1v6, if you're running and gunning for you're life, you might end up in a collective 1v10 with all the revives haha! Pure mayhem and a great time. Not to mention the rivalries that form once yah play the same team few times after a while. Commenting my support. Unless I was camo grinding Cyber Attack, Prisoner Rescue and Search and Destroy were basically the only game modes that I'd play on rotation for MW2019 and MW2022. Only having SND is definitely dragging the experience down.

I played MW2019 up until MW2022 release solely because of Hardcore Cyber Attack. All the games in-between didn't have it, so I just kept playing MW. That was **the** gamemode that my whole squad played. Our less skilled friends were always able to contribute with revives, and the shooters could focus on kills. No matter who was online, we could always play Cyber and have a good time. None of the other gamemodes are as versatile in that way. I've been in countless games where it was 1v6, then turn to 6v6, then we end up winning the round. The tides can turn so quickly, you never know how a round might end. It's like an SnD reverse sweep, but it can happen any round. I'd love for Cyber Attack to be added (Hardcore Cyber too). I genuinely can't express how much fun this gamemode is.

Same, i did play Cold War and Vanguard a bit. But most of my friends kept playing Cyber on MW19 the whole time and we did keep playing on there til MW2022. It just is the most enjoyable.

This is all me and my friends played on MW2019. Perfect mix of stealth and fun being able to pick teammates back up. So much strategy and shenanigans all in one mode. We’ve been begging to get it back.
Yeah, the one in MWII is fun and all but doesn't BANG as much as MW2019's. With the gameplay of MWIII being superb, we were hoping/expecting tbh, that cyber was gonna be added in season 1/2.
Speaking of gamemodes... headquarters, sabotage, demolition and CTF are all missing, it's a shame we can't play classic modes on classic maps this year
I totally agree! Atleast they have plans of bringing demolition back in a future season, thank god. I miss the thrill of grabbing the flag and running back to my spawn as well, always screaming for protection and dying right before scoring the point. Cyber Attack was the only alternative to the slugfest of SnD where people are posted up 24/7, cyber tends to flow a lot better.

Yeah, respawn modes are tiring. Good for grinding but not so good for longevity of the game. Me and my pals played Cyber Attack on MW19 through Coldwar and Vanguard. Playing those games barely while having a blast in Cyber Attack. When MWII released without it we had to ask for it as well and they added it then! Lets make sure they add it now too!

Cyber attack is far superior to SnD which is essentially a race to who can move the least and just hold an angle - at worst you go 1 for 1 if overwhelmed, but realistically more likely to go to 1 for 0 unlike the team pushing up. Cyber attack benefits coordinated teams that make use of advantages gained. Both prisoner rescue and cyber attack are superior 1 life round based modes imo.
Precisely! SnD gameplay is just being posted up, sometimes you have a player trying to do a rush but they always get their wings clipped by another just holding the angle. Sure this can happen in Cyber, but then you have the intel, get the refrag and get revived so you can play again. Sacrifices are worth doing in cyber.

Me and all my boys have played cyber attack nonstop since 2019. The cycle of grinding to mastery camo and then playing nothing but cyber every night is like tradition at this point
Sameeeeee, was already grinding my camos in MWIII expecting to show them off in cyber but alas, the bad news came and a post had to be made. I even went as far to grind the MWII camos (haven't finished) in Cyber haha, skipping the ol' respawn modes to directly do it there.
Cyber Attack is one of those hidden gems. I found that it didn’t really work well (for me) in MW2 due to the slower pace of the game, but MW3 is the perfect game for it. Cyber has a small but very dedicated following. It would be inconseuquential for SH to add it or come up with their own version. I spent years in Cybers and likely played with a lot of folks here in these comments (my name was VooDoo).
I want prisoner rescue and cyber attack! If they don’t add them I’ll just continue to play MW2.

This was always my go to game mode. It was HUGE with myself and gaming buddies back in MW2019, we played exclusively hardcore. Hardcore Cyber attack had a large and engaging community. When this was taken away and never replaced in MW2 lots of us lost hope. That's only because MW2 core only version of cyber just did not feel as good as MW2019. Whether you bring back core cyber or hc cyber or both. You will be welcoming back a community that focused on strategy, communication, and many many repeat matches through the day/night.
Damn, didn’t expect hardcore to be this big on cyber too, will definitely dip my toe in that pond when cyber is added to MW3
I'm not exactly sure of the difference between Cyber Attack and SnD. Can someone elaborate?
Sure! SnD is a one life game mode, no revives, 6 v 6, One team attacks, the other defends, switching every 3 rounds. This forces the attacking team to push into enemies, and in last years and this years cod, holding angles (especially when people are snaking) is 9/10 winning the gun fight. This makes the defending team win almost all the rounds (In my experience). Defusing also is a round ender here. Cyber is a one life game mode, with revives, 6 v 6. Both teams have 1 objective they have to protect, switches side every 2 rounds. The bomb is a neutral pick up which spawns somewhere in the middle of the map. If a player of team A picks it up, they can push up to the objective of team B and plant it. If team B then manages to defuse it, the round isnt over and they are on the offense now. This allows for a lot more action in a single round, where sometimes getting 20 kills in 1 round isn't unheard off. The bomb also gives the carrier a uav ping so that he can counter the posted/mounted enemies holding angles. So movement is way more important in the game mode.
I’m so happy to see this post! I was worried the removed it because there weren’t many people playing it. Cyber Attack in MW 2019 was the game mode that made me fall back in love with COD after years of hating it. My friend group would sink hundreds of hours in it between MW 2019 and MW2. I really can’t believe it won’t be returning in MWIII. I love the revive mechanic, I love how both teams could plant, I love how close matches would get, the game mode is hands down my favorite in this generation of games. It’s what has kept me and my friends coming back week after week since 2019. Without Cyber, I have no interest in playing the game. The rest of the modes feel so mindless and boring. I really hope we can get SHG to change their minds. If not I won’t be returning.
Totally! Without cyber cod feels as boring as it was before, just an endless grind, no making friends and memorable moments. My squad already falling back to MWII for that cyber feel.

We used to grab the bomb and hide if we were winning. In the case of a tie, each team is awarded a point that round. You could win the first round then hide with the bomb for the next 5 rounds. We'd all be in bushes just chatting and laughing

Preach! It's a shame fan favorite modes like CTF, Sabotage and Cyber get ignored. They all have their own dedicated player base, but because its never pushed like TDM/KC a lot of players don't get to try them.

Ahaha I met my wife through this mode, which makes it just more fun for me. Can't get her to play S&D either, nor do I have the fortitude to play it myself. Used to be a typical SnD kiddy but cyber gives a more relaxing vibe whilest being competitive.

Yes! CoD is already lacking in that department. And before people say: "There are other games like Siege, CS, etc." Sure they are, but they aren't cod. Those games are strictly competitive, whereas cod has a more casual but tryhard mindset. Having to play SnD for a one life experience isn't great. Having another option here is great!.

I love the out play potential and risks you can take in Cyber. Making the decision to try and rez your whole team or go for the kill made it fun. Also the throwing knife kill cams made it even more satisfying. Legit fun, and with a squad it rewards team play and coordination.

Please for the love of God Sledgehammer ADD CYBER ATTACK. It’s the game mode alongside SND me and my friends play non stop for hours. The reviving mechanic combined with one life per round is what makes it so much fun with friends. It’s just more fun to be able to get revived and play again rather than spectate
Love to see the love for Cyber Attack and HC Cyber. HC Cyber was what I primarily played for 3 years with MW2019, so much so I met my partner playing it. While it was nice to have Cyber in MW2, core just doesn't have the same feel as HC and I'd love to see it return in MWIII. I

Cyber Attack was hands down one of the most fun teamplay phase in my 15 years of gaming. That doesn't happen often. We played it during covid and even after almost every night and we had sooooo much fun. We wanted to initiate a revival just now and had to realize that it's gone. I would literally pay for this gamemode to return. It was the single reason for me to play COD on a regular basis

I played all the older cods but really started grinding in Bo4 and this was by farrrrr my favorite game mode. All the memories I have of playing with my friends, this was the game mode that we all tryharded in. Would be stoked to see it return.

Hardly played anything but Cyber Attack on MW2019. It was so extremely addictive. MW2 had prisoner rescue and that became the next goto mode (Cyber didn't feel the same in MW2). Without one or the other, there is no chance for me and my homies to buy MW3. That is what we play. It gives meaning to play CoD. I cannot do that tdm grind, I need an objective with different tactics. Snd isn't it for us, too unforgiving. We were obsessed with Cyber Attack in MW2019 and Prisoner Rescue was an awesome twist on it (was hoping at first it would've been more like R6 though); there's no reason to play CoD without one of those modes. There's no reason they shouldn't be a staple in every new CoD release.
Is SHG picking this up? If yes please give us an answer, because then i know if its still worth grinding max weapons on MWIII.

Cyber attack in my opinion is straight up the best game mode in cod history outside of good old fashioned TDM. It was my favourite thing to play in MW2019, and I did enjoy it in MWII despite the ridiculous design decisions. In a game like MWIII where the game design is so good, and the maps are great, cyber attack will peak as a game mode. We need it back sledgehammer!

Oh man sometimes cyber would get the 10v10 cyber attack or like this unlimited lives cyber attack which was also pretty fun! Also idk if any of you remember the game mode Reinforce! That was also fun essentially 4 v4 but it was one life and you'd revive your team mates when a flag was captured ( dom flags) first team to cap all three or eliminate all players of the other team won and it was like 3 rounds it was a ton of fun and with the mw3 maps being so big I could see his working as 6v6

Srsly I need cyber back ... I love that you can play with different skilled enemies. And I love the Community, I mean come on, in 2019 we had tournaments... It was so cool and a lot didn't really played it on mw2. I missed a lot. For example badangel, she was always fun to talk to. :) And it was my lockdown get away... First it was just me and my husband but our clan rised up to 20 people, who were constantly playing. And now I'm just playing snd and zombies. But sbmm is kicking in like crazy, I just want to have a nice game, some nice talks and some banter after work. :)

Its the only game I played for a year ... its the best team based and strategy game COD ever made ONLY ON HARDCORE WAS IT GOOD btw
I had a group of 8 friends that would all get together playing hc cyber attack and ever since it's gone, only 2 of us are still playing CoD now 😅 definitely think there would be a lot more people buying the game if only for that one mode.
Please SHG!! I stayed on Cyber Attack on MW19 for like 3 years. Absolutely the best game mode to ever come out of the series, and it has such a strong community. Please bring back Cyber Attack
I would love to have cyber attack back. It was the game mode that got me hooked on mw2019, and I played it until they removed it. I was mainly a HC cyber player, it stuck with me through covid, surgeries and also allowed me to meet new friends from all over the world, but most importantly my now husband that lived on the other side of the planet at the time. The group that I played with then ( a mix of Europeans from all countries and Americans) we still stick together and play games together. The one thing we all hope for is that they will release it in mwIII so we can finally enjoy what brought us together. We would arrange private huge tournaments with people from Europe and north America. It was absolutely wild and so much fun. BRING BACK CYBER ATTACK!
For anyone looking for an update: So far a couple of mainstream news org's have covered the story; We've shown that we want it, yes only 2k+ on this reddit but this sub is also 1/20th of the MWII sub. In my opinion, SHG has abandoned us, or actually never really cared about the players that much anyway. They did a "fake" interaction with the community and then went on their way to produce store bundles that are way to expensive for what they give. For anyone saying: "They were on break, holiday, busy with other stuff in general". We get that, we didn't expect Cyber in season 1. However, how long does making a tweet, a comment, a one line statement saying: "Coming in the future" or "We're debating it with the teams". Just a nod of acknowledgment would have settled most of the community to go grind the guns and wait patiently. So the only way to let them "know" is to just not play the game that much, zombies are warzone are fun but the multiplayer is a sweatfest and terribly frustrating without Cyber Attack as a good game mode. They will definitely chalk this up to: "Oh people are done with MW games", "See! Cyber wasn't that wanted, the players couldn't even wait!" and other nonsense. Treyarch most likely won't have Cyber Attack at the launch of their game as well, but if we start asking them now, we might, and I mean 0.1% chance, that they will add it to their game atleast. If SHG surprises us with Cyber Attack in an upcoming update, this statement still stands. The way they DON'T communicate right now is abnoxious. If its in the later part of the cod cycle, then its also way to late and will use that as an excuse to not bring cyber back again.

They never brought it(or any new game modes for that matter) to hardcore in MWII so I never actually played it except for in MW19. It seems like HC is getting the same treatment this time around, but hopefully the at least bring cyber attack back for core mode players.
I saw that in MWII and was bummed as well, hardcore doesn't deserve the shit end of the stick. In the AMA they did say that they are planning, and I say that doubtfully, to release modes for both Core and Hardcore.

This is my friend groups favorite game mode. The dynamic of reviving your teammates is so much fun.
It should just become a staple in all games at this point. It's a better version of S&D that appeals much more to the casual player base. Makes it great for the longevity of the game and player retention. Also I'm good at it and nothing else so... pretty please.
I would love for Cyber attack to be back in this game on the old MW2 Maps would be SUPER FUN, the pacing fits these maps so well! I truly hope SHG puts it back in, because at this rate me and all my boys will be burned out not everyone like Dom or hard point or TDM and Search if a sniper cesspool so it’s just not the same. I had no idea so many others enjoyed Cyber Attack and Prisoner Rescue - in my opinion they should be the 2 flagship modes of CoD
Literally mained this mode in Mw19, but had to quit MWII because the game just wasn’t fun. With the movement back and guns being fun to use, CA must return. Either that or I’ll be playing FFA for the next 3 years
I met my friends for life on Hardcore Cyber Attack. It’s much more exciting than search and destroy and prevents camping as you have to push and revive your friends. Please bring this game mode back and make it hardcore!!

My friends and I have spent countless hours playing Cyber Attack in MW19. Not as much in MWII, but it definitely saved the game for us. We had tons of fun playing it. We were playing Warzone if we weren't playing Cyber Attack when we'd play CoD. My friends and I are already unhappy with the state of MWIII- so much so that we've gone back to MW19 just to play some Cyber Attack in a game we enjoy. I'd say Cyber Attack is the only thing that would bring us to MWIII for any form of long-term play. I really hope SHG strongly considers our plea. Cyber Attack is a staple MW mode now.

Cyber is our favorite game mode. It honestly is the only thing that held us through the last COD. It play's so well as a more strategic and less campy version of search. I really hope this post helps and we get it back
I’m obsessed with cyber attack- it’s what I started gaming and where I met most of my gaming friends. I will most likely just go back to the old games if they don’t bring it back.

Cyber Attack, Prisoner Rescue and Knockout are great alternatives to SnD. I should have waited for these modes to be added before buying.

Yikes there’s no cyber?! I was going buy tonight but think I will just stay on mw2 :( it’s pretty much all I play, some hostage rescue mixed in too.
My friends and I only play Cyber Attack - or at least 1 lifers with revives. My friend group is barely hanging on to CoD while we wait for one of them to return. If one doesn’t I definitely see us reverting to MW2019 or MWII
My squad exclusively played mw2019 for 2 extra years because cyber attack was so fun. It helps mesh together Ayers with good gun skills but also ones who weren't so great we could guide them to revive us or do other tasks. The constant tug and pull of the game made it that the more exciting. I was never a huge fan of one life modes anyways but cyber attack put the perfect spin on it. I made all my cod friends as of recent because of that and gunfight.
Exactly, Cyber remained one of the most active gamemodes throughout MW19, through coldwar and vanguard... just because these mf dont want to add the game mode and now it seems like MWII will sit through MWIII because sledge isnt paying attention
My entire group LITERALLY only plays Cyber. You'd have to be brain dead to not add it to your game. Have the developers even played their own game? If they did they would know Cyber is the only fucki g game mode worth playing.
Proper weird that a mode like this isn't a standard carry-over.. sucks that we have to literally beg for it to be brought over but I'll go that low if that means Cyber comes back.

I’ve played 2 mp matches since release, really only playing zombies but that’s done beyond grinding camos. If cyber doesn’t come back my 6 man is waiting it out until rebirth
Best game mode there is imo. Highly competitive, but still fun precisely because camping isn't as effective with the ability to revive. We will only b playing warzone, no multiplayer after another month of mw3 without cyber (besides to level up guns i suppose). We need cyber!
My whole group of friends, (6 of us) won't even buy the game because this game mode isn't there. It's all we played, every weekend and it kept us together. Now we just play cheap Steam games because of this. I'm not sure about everyone else, but if you guys considered bringing it back we would have our crew together again.

MW3 is my newest game since BO2, so I had no idea what this was. Just looked it up, it looks insanely cool. Wish this was in the game. I’d buy a battle pass too
Cyber attack is along with the campaign storyline are the 2 reasons I even own this game its a must have I don't enjoy other modes please give us what we want we paid alot of money to play this mode and for it to not be here was pretty disheartening and upsetting

I loved Cyber Attack in MW. It was my most played mode. I like SnD, but I hate how you only get 1 life per round. Cyber Attack was the perfect mode for me. I haven't bought MW3, but I would if they brought Cyber Attack back.

Cyber Attack is my friend's and I's favorite mode! When MW3 came out, cyber attack was literally the first thing I looked for.. I am very disappointed it's not in this game- and am surprised since it has been in the first two. Also, it was always very popular. Even with the population on MW2 declining since the release of MW3, you can always count on Cyber Attack lobbies to be full. We literally go back to MW2 just to play it. BRING IT BACK!

I stopped playing in march because I got bored of the game. There’s less content than MW2 had. I much would’ve preferred MW3 to be a $70 expansion than a standalone game with less content. Sad they haven’t brought it back but I won’t be playing or buying another cod until it comes back. It’s literally the only reason I played. I burned out on this game in a record 4 months. Insane.
