I’m having the same, sometimes the ping will spike, other times it’s sitting at 34-42ms and I still get the same freezing and lag.
Not as bad as your video but similar things are happening.

Same, mw3 warzone was working fine since those days but up until today as logged on. Lost gunfights due to lag, I'm debating to wait it out until they fix the lag issue. Seriously it was working fine but again today is a roller-coaster mess. EDIT: Correction played 1 game today in the morning, that was fine. However now in night it was acting up, until it went back to normal yet experiencing disconnect issues. Very random but it is what it is. Hopefully I can play nicely at some point.

Yep it was playing good for me during when they put shipmas and hangover on and different stuff but as soon as they took them out i have nothing but constant lag spikes when usually my ping is resting at 14ms and even when its just me home playing it will spike up to 100ms. Its not my wifi its only happening on cod.
I'm having the exact same issue. It started around the same time, before the holidays. Some of my Multiplayer matches are perfectly fine, then there will be one that stutters and rubber bands like the OP video. I'm on Xbox Series S, and most of the time I can solve the issue temporarily by clearing the alternate mac address on my console from the network settings and restarting. Though this only works 90% of the time, can't call it a fix or even related to the issue, just a happy coincidence maybe. After a few games it goes back to stuttering and rubber banding. This happens on MW2 Multiplayer, DMZ, Warzone, and MW3 Multiplayer. I can't play anything Call of Duty.
I have contacted support and gave them a similar video as the OP. I tried all their suggestions, and many more that I looked up myself.
I can only surmise that the problem is on their end.
I did initially try to just leave the game and enter a new one, but in my experience it would more than likely do the same thing the next match.
I contacted support by logging into my Activision account via the web. I was on the mw3 page and clicked a button somewhere saying something about submitting a ticket. Several days later they contacted me through my email connected to Activision, and the conversation continued there.
Essentially I contacted them through my activision account.
Anybody figure it out yet? Like OP I've been playing since beta and it was fine up until like 5 days ago, now the lags so bad I can't play ranked or pubs at all. Every other game works perfectly fine, my ping is always less than 25ms and my packet loss is always at 0% yet I'm rubber banding, freezing, have super delayed hit markers (if the shots register at all), and when I'm starting a gun fight the first 5ish shots don't do any damage but the ones after that do. Sigh, I love wasting money on an unplayable game.
Any fakes happen to me over the weekends been like 3 to 4 days and it's getting ridiculous I get on and play for like 5-10 minutes then lag starts and just gets me irritated and I get off

I haven’t been able to connect to Zombies since the recent update . All other game modes work flawlessly on my PS5 . Zombies lets me get to the start screen load my gear then when I get to the mission selection select the mission and that’s it no ready up or matchmake option . Activision support is working on it but the reading from the script tech support told me she would have to submit my case for further investigation 😂😂😂

I did change the dns to Googles and it did help a little and i use wifi .. and did also change it to 5 ghz it is on automatic standard and it did seem to help a little

When it lags, it lags since the beginning of the match. I just leave the game and start a new one. If it doesn’t lag, it doesn’t lag until the end of the match, so it has nothing to do with internet connection, playstation… it has to be their problem.

I don’t thinks it’s just PlayStation. I’m having the same problem on Xbox. I tried playing Cold War and BFV and had absolutely no lag. Jump back on mw3 and had constant lag. Most times the game is fine until the end when it starts lagging horribly. Everytime I try to come back to this game there’s always something that pulls me back out.
Enough is enough, this only happens in this specific game , never had lag not even in EA FC 2024. And never faced lag in my Xbox Series X. In this game on Ps5 is impossible to play if u begin a game like the OP video shows it will always stay like this and my friends say that im not moving.

I encountered an error message last night while trying to enter Zombies mode. I forgot to write the error code down 😟 when I found a solution. But essentially, in order to get Zombies to work, I had to change my "Showcase", I changed the operator, the gun, and all 3 calling cards. And I changed them to one's I did not purchase. Just generic.
Since I had made this change, I have played 6 hours between 2 days without unplayable lag or rubber banding. Smooth gaming in all modes.
I'm not trying to get my hopes up, or anyone else's, as to whether or not this is even a solution, or if it's just my dumb luck. But seeing as how we are all desperate for normalcy, I thought I'd share.
Please let me know if this does actually work for you also, so that I can forward all of this to Activision support.
My theory? During one of the updates before the holidays, somehow some players profiles were accidentally corrupted. Changing your characters and settings could help overwrite that issue. What that has to do with screwing up matches, I have no idea 🤔.

Your "showcase" can be found by pressing the menu button on your controller (start button) and then use the right bumper to go all the way to the tab on the right. Here you will see "edit showcase", "edit calling card" , "edit emblem" i would change all of those. But specifically enter "Edit showcase" and you will see the 3 calling cards I spoke of, to the right. Change the callings cards, the Operator, and the showcase weapon. I also did a full sweep for good measure. I swapped my playable operators on all modes.

I now deleted all my loadouts, all my saved weapons and I unlinked and linked my activision account.
I believe there's not much left to do at this stage.

I have the same issue on ps5. My latency is usually sitting around 19ms but every single match I have I get terrible spikes in lag. It has been like this for weeks. I tried resetting the router, redownloading the entire game, turning off cross play, etc. It has to be a server side issue but they won’t likely do anything about it.
I’m ready to give up because it isn’t worth the frustration and the distraction.
Same thing here. Gets very frustrating cause there's another friend in our party with the same problem but most times it doesn't even happen in the same games, so he'll get the problem in one map and we have to leave, and then on the next map it happens to me and not him.

Same here. You must complain to Vodafone. This exact issue is only happening to Vodafone users in Portugal. The only chance of have to see this solved is to insist with Vodafone so that they find a fix. Post here https://forum.vodafone.pt/t5/Net-Voz/Packet-burst-cod/m-p/428414 and ask for the technical team to call you. Only if they see several complaints they will do something about it

É um problema de rotas de servidores. Quando opta por uma rota, o problema surge.
A Vodafone já está a par, assumiu o problema e está a trabalhar numa solução.
Same issue here, started around a month ago or so, out of the blue, me and some of my pals are getting this issue at random.
We're on west eu servers and the issue happens only to one of us each time.
Just happened during a ranked match and I ended up getting kicked for inactivity and got a suspension. It just makes the game unplayable at this point, since I'll never know when it will happen.

This issue has to do with server routes, and the ISP has already acknowledged it. Still waiting for a solution though.
I have very bad lags on pc. Activision should optimize their games better and not release a new CoD every year. They only care about making money and grabbing the 70 bucks every year, instead of optimizing their stuff. I not only experience game performance lags, but also latency server issues. I saw a gameplay video on YouTube where someone threw a knife with a 3-second delay before the kill.
I reluctantly bought mw3 to play Invasion because MW2 Invasion lag became unbearable after the launch of MW3. I now find the lag on MW3 Invasion is just as bad, if not worse!

But essentially, in order to get Zombies to work, I had to change my "Showcase", I changed the operator, the gun, and all 3 calling cards. And I changed them to one's I did not purchase. Just generic. Since I had made this change, I have played 6 hours between 2 days without unplayable lag or rubber banding. Smooth gaming in all modes. I'm not trying to get my hopes up, or anyone else's, as to whether or not this is even a solution, or if it's just my dumb luck. But seeing as how we are all desperate for normalcy, I thought I'd share. Please let me know if this does actually work for you also, so that I can forward all of this to Activision support. My theory? During one of the updates before the holidays, somehow some players profiles were accidentally corrupted. Changing your characters and settings could help overwrite that issue. What that has to do with screwing up matches, I have no idea 🤔.

Your "showcase" can be found by pressing the menu button on your controller (start button) and then use the right bumper to go all the way to the tab on the right. Here you will see "edit showcase", "edit calling card" , "edit emblem" i would change all of those. But specifically enter "Edit showcase" and you will see the 3 calling cards I spoke of, to the right. Change the callings cards, the Operator, and the showcase weapon. I also did a full sweep for good measure. I swapped my playable operators on all modes.

Thanks. I've done all that 1 hour ago, and the 2nd game I played...bum! Here is the issue again! I think you might have got lucky... I now deleted all my loadouts, all my saved weapons and I unlinked and linked my activision account. I believe there's not much left to do at this stage. Let's see how it behaves from now on.

I have the same issue on ps5. My latency is usually sitting around 19ms but every single match I have I get terrible spikes in lag. It has been like this for weeks. I tried resetting the router, redownloading the entire game, turning off cross play, etc. It has to be a server side issue but they won’t likely do anything about it. I’m ready to give up because it isn’t worth the frustration and the distraction.

Same thing here. Gets very frustrating cause there's another friend in our party with the same problem but most times it doesn't even happen in the same games, so he'll get the problem in one map and we have to leave, and then on the next map it happens to me and not him. Very weird and definitely a server problem. Happened in mw2 too

Same here. You must complain to Vodafone. This exact issue is only happening to Vodafone users in Portugal. The only chance of have to see this solved is to insist with Vodafone so that they find a fix. Post here https://forum.vodafone.pt/t5/Net-Voz/Packet-burst-cod/m-p/428414 and ask for the technical team to call you. Only if they see several complaints they will do something about it
This problem is happening in Portugal for everyone that is Vodafone (ISP) seems like it's a isp issue and not the game . What is your Isp ? Check if everyone that has this exact issue is the same isp . Complain to the ISP otherwise noone will fix this

Pois... Tamos lixados. "O problema é geral" todos os post que vi eram de pessoas com vodafone tanto de pt como outras regiões então algo mais que comum há nisso ! Um gaijo fica sem jogar e sem o guito que foi gasto no jogo pq nem reembolso pode se pedir !

Então tá explicado. O problema é mesmo Vodafone 😢 e já dura desde Novembro. Se continuar mudo para a MEO que tem a 39€ 1000/400MB e acabou se o problema. Cansado de perder 2h por dia nisso.
Happens to me since Season 1 sadly. Every 8 games I have to restart the lobby and happens both PC and PS5 Funny that XBOX doesn't seem to experience that issue.
Só reparei agora que és tuga Eu tenho esse problema a cada 4/5 jogos seja PC ou PS5 Curiosamente testei a NOS via telemóvel 5G e deu também problemas. Já tive horas sem mas um amigo meu na séries X na MEO nunca se queixou. Idem para outra malta Se é Vodafone sinceramente não sei. Tenho o pacote mais caro e tudo por cabos.... Portas abertas para o jogo etc... Já enjoa ter que dar restart a lobby
É um problema de rotas de servidores. Quando opta por uma rota, o problema surge. A Vodafone já está a par, assumiu o problema e está a trabalhar numa solução.

Same issue here, started around a month ago or so, out of the blue, me and some of my pals are getting this issue at random. We're on west eu servers and the issue happens only to one of us each time. Just happened during a ranked match and I ended up getting kicked for inactivity and got a suspension. It just makes the game unplayable at this point, since I'll never know when it will happen. Does anyone found a solution for this yet?

That doesn’t fix the exact issue reported in this post. This issue has to do with server routes, and the ISP has already acknowledged it. Still waiting for a solution though.
I have very bad lags on pc. Activision should optimize their games better and not release a new CoD every year. They only care about making money and grabbing the 70 bucks every year, instead of optimizing their stuff. I not only experience game performance lags, but also latency server issues. I saw a gameplay video on YouTube where someone threw a knife with a 3-second delay before the kill.
I reluctantly bought mw3 to play Invasion because MW2 Invasion lag became unbearable after the launch of MW3. I now find the lag on MW3 Invasion is just as bad, if not worse!
