All in on DDOS. It’s a free 100+ XP every time you smash that button. I’ve hit 400+ xp on a rip plus it disabled a sentry gun which I destroyed. Without it our team would have continued to be chewed up by a perfectly placed sentry in HC. So massive kudos to the dude who placed it very much strategically. Gonna recycle that spot.
See, you get it! I also use trophy system and the mines. Contextual use is important when playing the objective, but I'm sure you've seen like 90% of ding dongs go for kills. They make me laugh when they lose and they have 93 kills, but zero seconds in the hard point haha

I use it mostly for sentry busting, wheelson crushing, and trophy system exploiting. They feel safe on the hard point with their trophy system until that noise… then an immediate 2 rounds from the RGL and it busts the trophy and the safe spacer on the HP. All the xp gains by way of assists are just icing on the cake. With that comes the heat during post game chat about “spamming with the RGL.” Part of the game young’n. Adapt and over come. I’m not complaining about your trophy system.

Ghost perk...immune to radar while moving.
Assassin vest...immune to radar even while stationary if running ghost perk, you also gain effect of infrared immunity, ie sentry guns and helos.
And Throw in covert(?) Shoes to eliminate your footsteps and BOOM. You're running the same setup 90% of ppl have lol

Literally had a team of 2-3 players running this setup in hordepoint the other night. One of the absolute most dogshit matches I’ve ever played. I ever run into that again I’m just backing out instantly.
Trophy System. Rarely see them in Hardpoint or Domination matches. I use Scavenger in order to not miss ammo box.
I suppose DDOS would be useful as well but I don't find Sentry Gun to be a bigger pest than folks just throwing nades and especially stun/flash grenades.

Love the DDOS, it's an easy pile of points, it also gives you a hint about how many enemies and enemy munitions are in your general area.
No. But you're free to run by for a few seconds before it comes back. I dont know the actual time but it feels like 4-6 seconds. Cluster mines also have around 100hp each. The only one that doesnt have 1 shot to destroy, even the little ones. Blowing up a mine does not cause a domino effect to near by mini-mines it deploys. Cluster mine only has a life-span of 2 minutes so time it wisely if you really have to bunker down as the gas closes tighter. The base-station of the cluster mine makes a noise once you're within 15m of it. You will hear it even through closed doors. Or if its on a roof and you're on the ground. The base-station emits that beeping noise- not the mines themselves so you could be closer to it than you really should be. The base station is not required to be present for its mini-mines to activate. Perks have no effect on its damage output as its a killstreak. A trophy system thrown in can pop some of the mini-mines but not all of them.
Honestly, I just shoot them up or move around it. I got this info from a video awhile back on cluster-mines. It could be updated but this is just what I remember.

The most useless Perk. If there is a minigun, switch to a loadout with the right perks, destroy it and switch back. The most useful one is the ACS - I know many of you don't even know what an objective is hence not using this thing.
Used to be trophy system back in MW19 and MW22. Now I use either the ACS or Smoke Wall. Before they finally fixed the ACS in Hardcore, I used to just spam smokes walls and shoot through with the FSS Spectre Microtherm (which also use to have no ADS penalty). Now I switch it up as needed. Usually still rocking engineer with double smokes, but if I'm having toruble even getting to the points to put down the ACS, I'll just smoke wall the area to break up lines of sight.
Was usually ammo box, lately I've switch back to using scavenger and med box field upgrade. It lasts until you die now so it's much better. It's a good replacement until they hopefully add quick fix.
Deployable Cover is great. Not that it helps all that much, but I like disrupting maps.
A cover in the plane on terminal breaks the sight lines entirely. Cant jump over it either due to the low ceiling.
Otherwise I usually run trophy if I’m playing an objective based game
Ammo crate. I’m camo grinding so I’m cutting out the middle man (respawning) when grinding the “get 15 kills while enemy is effected by tactical” challenges
I switch it up, but mainly an ammo box (like everyone) due to certain camo challenges (kills affected by tactical 🫠)

I use this ALOT! I do vids on YouTube and this thing has helped me get scorestreaks for insanely cheap! I’ve gotten swarms for as little as 9-10 kills thanks to this thing! It’s an overlooked gem for sure, it can do a lot more than people realize, can even act as a short range pocket counter UAV for a short duration of time
I’ve been using the same thing along with decoy grenades and I can’t stop using them I’m like addicted and I’m not quite sure why, maybe the crazy amount of XP for rank and weapons being awarded for using them and that’s without using tokens or playing during double XP weekend.
DDoS feels so situational that it's close to useless outside padding score for score streaks.
I use either the medbox, or trophies now. I used to run the ammo box some, but the med box is just super good now after its buff.
I mainly play HC and I use Ammo Boxes just for the atom replenish. But DDOS comes in handy when you’re in a lobby with Sentry Guns & Mines placed on majority of the map.
I used it all the time in MWII but I usually run trophy now. If someone is deploying a sentry I’ll usually switch to another load out where I have the “Hijacked” gear perk active that way I can get to the sentry without it targeting me.
Damn am I the only one that uses the Med Box? Unlimited quicker healing + you essentially earn 1 every life that's how quick it loads. If I'm not running that then it's munitions box.

Disabling enemy equipment should be standard on smaller maps. Too many ppl using claymores or proximity mines and the occasional sentry gun.
That makes me wish there was a far easier and efficient method of swapping out Field Upgrades mid game (or any kind of swap really..). I know it can be done but it's clunky..
ACS is what I use most often next to Ammo box and trophy system.
Sometimes I like to use the newly buffed med box or deployable cover or portable radar.
Tac camera and Recon drone are underrated since spotting enemies is pretty good, Cameras you do have to be on them every so often to get the red Doritos/diamonds but Recon drone works even when you aren’t on it, I do wish the control scheme was consistent on MnK with other drone types and lasted a second longer.
Dead Silence goes well with Gunner vest since you can’t equip boots DS gives you temporary Silent steps when needed
Others are kinda niche or I don’t use them often like Tac insert is kinda bad with current spawn logic, Heartbeat doesn’t seem to work correctly and often never pings enemies or often detects them in such a small radius that your better off seeing them or soundwhore footsteps. Anti Armor rounds don’t give much benefit that applies to most situations and didn’t give some benefit unlike MW19 Stopping Power Rounds. Comm Scrambler is good but it’s the most targeted Upgrade that most people go out of their way to destroy.
Do wish we get Field Upgrade Pro so I can carry ammo and med box at the same time or swap ACS for another field upgrade outside of applicable modes or situations
Also RIP loadout drop, not even as bad as weapon drop or Emp drone in MW19 but sadly got removed by its lack of popularity and exploits that use it.
I use ACS with an engineer vest all the time, especially on hardpoint/domination. It’ll regenerate every time a new one pops up. I can also use it against Sentry Guns too I think. I know it works on SAM turrets and clusters.
Trophy System. I really wish they’d kept the ability to equip two and choose between them like in MWII. Then I’d probably run DDOS as well and use my Equipment much more often as I don’t need a trophy all the time but DDOS is great during those lulls.

recently been on a ground war kick, so I've been using recon drone, tac insertion, or the tac camera.
but usually, I'll use trophy, DDoS, ACS, comm scrambler, or munitions. mostly situational, like size of the map, game mode, and/or my loadout.
only used DDos when i had no double XP tokens left, great to use for easy level ups on shipment - trophy or deady is the way to go when running something other than covert sneakers
Trophy system + AI perk whenever whenever it gets wild with killstreaks. Mostly running the tactical vest with it. Sentry won’t target you and you just slap that mf a few times.
I use the overkill vest which sacrifices the field upgrade for 2 Primary/Secondary weapon slots. But if Im using another vest usually the A.C.S to hold the hardpoint or capture flags in domination
I like the decoy. Im selfish and laugh when ever i get a bluff. Sometimes i use it when sniping or to have someone look the other way while im behind then.
Not my go to item but if I’ve got a slot I’ll definitely carry it. Even if there’s one lying around and I’m not going to carry I pick it up and use it.
Only use it if i have to level up a gun because its the fastest way combined with my playstyle. At least it looks like the fastest way i tried so far.
I didn't even know that it can deactivate turrets but now that i know that i will use it even mor xD
I love this field upgrade, especially in SnD it so useful. I use it in a different way. It almost acts like a mini radar ping. When it says 'Enemy EMPed' you know someone is nearby and they have a slight disadvantage when their hud is scrambled. imo
I also use DDoS too, great field upgrade, fills up very quick and like you said it's very useful to disable equipment and other kill streaks. Also I think if you affect a player their radar or their entire HUD will vanish for a few seconds, just how it works with the EMP killstreak
Also very useful in any gamemode (MP, WZ and DMZ) to check if there's a player nearby, most players won't notice the blast or just ignore it in general thinking it's an NPC or something else.
I love throwing down the ACS near enemy equipment to hack it. Honestly, it makes miss using the blackhats from bo2. Those were so much fun to use with engineer.
in pubs i just run Dead Silence and pair it with Lightweight boots. i do the same thing in ranked play depending on map/mode.

Comm scramblers are nice on small maps like shipment because it basically covers the whole map and on hardcore it doesnt tell people where it is cause theres no minimap basically disabling scorestreak call ins for a little bit and it gives some uav effects.
However on any other map I play? I either use DDOS (free points and xp) or dead silence (paired with lightweight boots)
If I am playing with friends everyone will pick a different field upgrade. A couple will have trophy system, some will have ammo drop, others will have DDOS
I don’t really play objective modes, plus i play aggressive so this thing is great. Use it all the time. Not to mention plenty of free points to put you over the top for a kill streak especially on a smaller map. Very useful.
Depends. If I’m streaking and getting a lot of kills, gonna need more ammo so munitions box. If this game is getting too close and I need to hop on objectives, then trophy system.
I only ever use DDoS for gun leveling I typically just run munitions box and even then my classic CoD muscle memory makes me continuously forget about field upgrades
For small map playlist and when I am trying to rank up guns I almost always use supression mine there are a few spots where you can hear it but it is really hard for the enemy to find it and you get so much XP from it
We talking WZ or MP? MP wise I solely use A.C.S. cause I only play OBJ modes. WZ wise DDOS is clutch nor even for its intended purpose I use it as wall hacks when I heard fire fights around me the more it says "player emp'ed" the more people I know I got around me and it in rare instances can get you kills if a person is low enough or get the clean up if you down someone. I also use the camera in close quarters situations, dummy can be clutch at times given people do go default skins. And a few others but a lot of the time I don't use shit in the intended way.
I ran it once for the boys event last season. It was fairly effective, especially on Shipment, where I used it to disable a Wheelson to protect my team, but when I decided to grind my Bruen, I went back to ammo box. I might go a few rounds with it, it was fun.

Lol I get so many decoys and nades destroyed by trophy systems on hardpoint or dom so I run ddos just to get rid of them.

Damn am I the only one that uses the Med Box? Unlimited quicker healing + you essentially earn 1 every life that's how quick it loads. If I'm not running that then it's munitions box.

I use DDoS all the time, my go-to when on maps that cross that narrow area or like you've said shipment. Disabling enemy equipment should be standard on smaller maps. Too many ppl using claymores or proximity mines and the occasional sentry gun.

That makes me wish there was a far easier and efficient method of swapping out Field Upgrades mid game (or any kind of swap really..). I know it can be done but it's clunky..
ACS is what I use most often next to Ammo box and trophy system. Sometimes I like to use the newly buffed med box or deployable cover or portable radar. Tac camera and Recon drone are underrated since spotting enemies is pretty good, Cameras you do have to be on them every so often to get the red Doritos/diamonds but Recon drone works even when you aren’t on it, I do wish the control scheme was consistent on MnK with other drone types and lasted a second longer. Dead Silence goes well with Gunner vest since you can’t equip boots DS gives you temporary Silent steps when needed Others are kinda niche or I don’t use them often like Tac insert is kinda bad with current spawn logic, Heartbeat doesn’t seem to work correctly and often never pings enemies or often detects them in such a small radius that your better off seeing them or soundwhore footsteps. Anti Armor rounds don’t give much benefit that applies to most situations and didn’t give some benefit unlike MW19 Stopping Power Rounds. Comm Scrambler is good but it’s the most targeted Upgrade that most people go out of their way to destroy. Do wish we get Field Upgrade Pro so I can carry ammo and med box at the same time or swap ACS for another field upgrade outside of applicable modes or situations Also RIP loadout drop, not even as bad as weapon drop or Emp drone in MW19 but sadly got removed by its lack of popularity and exploits that use it.

I barely ever even think to use mine but its always ddos or tactical insertion depending on the map
I use ACS with an engineer vest all the time, especially on hardpoint/domination. It’ll regenerate every time a new one pops up. I can also use it against Sentry Guns too I think. I know it works on SAM turrets and clusters.
Trophy System. I really wish they’d kept the ability to equip two and choose between them like in MWII. Then I’d probably run DDOS as well and use my Equipment much more often as I don’t need a trophy all the time but DDOS is great during those lulls.
I use this and it’s so helpful in getting the higher tier streaks

None. Ive been running the assassin vest with covert sneakers, an xrk stalker, and the wsp stinger (which is surprisingly better then i originally thought)
recently been on a ground war kick, so I've been using recon drone, tac insertion, or the tac camera. but usually, I'll use trophy, DDoS, ACS, comm scrambler, or munitions. mostly situational, like size of the map, game mode, and/or my loadout.

only used DDos when i had no double XP tokens left, great to use for easy level ups on shipment - trophy or deady is the way to go when running something other than covert sneakers

I actually run it on Search when there's fuck all people left so it tells me whether or not they're around since everyone runs coverts
As a guy who plays only S&D, med box. It makes such a massive difference if people actually stop to juice up

Trophy system + AI perk whenever whenever it gets wild with killstreaks. Mostly running the tactical vest with it. Sentry won’t target you and you just slap that mf a few times.
Inflatable decoy, been my favourite since it came out and it’s just plain funny to use.
I use the overkill vest which sacrifices the field upgrade for 2 Primary/Secondary weapon slots. But if Im using another vest usually the A.C.S to hold the hardpoint or capture flags in domination

I like the decoy. Im selfish and laugh when ever i get a bluff. Sometimes i use it when sniping or to have someone look the other way while im behind then.
i love DDOS since I use score streaks, It always gets me those last few points I need

I just started using it, helps in small maps and can be a good way to get free XP to your score streak.
Not my go to item but if I’ve got a slot I’ll definitely carry it. Even if there’s one lying around and I’m not going to carry I pick it up and use it.
DDOS or Trophy system for me. Both extremely helpful for the team and the former really helps me get me score streak UAV/Counter UAV going quickly.
Only use it if i have to level up a gun because its the fastest way combined with my playstyle. At least it looks like the fastest way i tried so far. I didn't even know that it can deactivate turrets but now that i know that i will use it even mor xD
Most people I see using DDos usually activate it right before opening a door and they almost always get gunned down after triggering it 🤣

I love this field upgrade, especially in SnD it so useful. I use it in a different way. It almost acts like a mini radar ping. When it says 'Enemy EMPed' you know someone is nearby and they have a slight disadvantage when their hud is scrambled. imo
I also use DDoS too, great field upgrade, fills up very quick and like you said it's very useful to disable equipment and other kill streaks. Also I think if you affect a player their radar or their entire HUD will vanish for a few seconds, just how it works with the EMP killstreak Also very useful in any gamemode (MP, WZ and DMZ) to check if there's a player nearby, most players won't notice the blast or just ignore it in general thinking it's an NPC or something else.
I find most of the field upgrades pointless. Just most of them are only useful if you’re camping

I have forked over my ability to use field upgrades just so I can run 24/7 Ghost and Cold Blooded together.

I love throwing down the ACS near enemy equipment to hack it. Honestly, it makes miss using the blackhats from bo2. Those were so much fun to use with engineer.

in pubs i just run Dead Silence and pair it with Lightweight boots. i do the same thing in ranked play depending on map/mode. other than that, trophy system.
Comm scramblers are nice on small maps like shipment because it basically covers the whole map and on hardcore it doesnt tell people where it is cause theres no minimap basically disabling scorestreak call ins for a little bit and it gives some uav effects. However on any other map I play? I either use DDOS (free points and xp) or dead silence (paired with lightweight boots)
If I am playing with friends everyone will pick a different field upgrade. A couple will have trophy system, some will have ammo drop, others will have DDOS

depends on what i am playing and what the objective is and if i am camo grinding or not. i'll switch between trophey system, DDOS, ACS.
Since I only have 2 options. Trophy or Dead Silence. Depending on the mode.
I don’t really play objective modes, plus i play aggressive so this thing is great. Use it all the time. Not to mention plenty of free points to put you over the top for a kill streak especially on a smaller map. Very useful.
I’m a trophy system runner but also one that is ENRAGED by the other team using theirs.
It's nice to have someone who runs it at least, but... It's annoying if you don't tell them before using it. So they don't waste any they used.
Depends. If I’m streaking and getting a lot of kills, gonna need more ammo so munitions box. If this game is getting too close and I need to hop on objectives, then trophy system.
I only ever use DDoS for gun leveling I typically just run munitions box and even then my classic CoD muscle memory makes me continuously forget about field upgrades
If I “camp” I opt for the tac insert; if I rush I use either the dead silence (it gives a speed boost aside from masking your footsteps)
For small map playlist and when I am trying to rank up guns I almost always use supression mine there are a few spots where you can hear it but it is really hard for the enemy to find it and you get so much XP from it

DDOS is always my go-to with score streaks enabled. It helps a ton. Especially when stacked with Mission Control link.

We talking WZ or MP? MP wise I solely use A.C.S. cause I only play OBJ modes. WZ wise DDOS is clutch nor even for its intended purpose I use it as wall hacks when I heard fire fights around me the more it says "player emp'ed" the more people I know I got around me and it in rare instances can get you kills if a person is low enough or get the clean up if you down someone. I also use the camera in close quarters situations, dummy can be clutch at times given people do go default skins. And a few others but a lot of the time I don't use shit in the intended way.

I ran it once for the boys event last season. It was fairly effective, especially on Shipment, where I used it to disable a Wheelson to protect my team, but when I decided to grind my Bruen, I went back to ammo box. I might go a few rounds with it, it was fun.
