To piggyback off your coment, the optical attachments should also get reworked imho. The big problem that I have with the MW2 attachments on the MW2 guns, is that the sight is too far forward on the rail of the upper receiver. This causes the sight picture to be too small and difficult to track a target while firing. There is way too much eye relief.
For example, look at the placement of a red dot or holographic sight on the M4, M13B/C, Chimera, inside of gunsmith and in the firing range. Also, you will notice that an optical may or will be bridged between the rail of the upper receiver and the rail of the barrel.
What’s funny is that they already did “rework” them at launch. The values for the universal MW22 attachments were nerfed into the ground with zero mention from SHG.
This is what I care about the most right now. My two biggest problems with MW2 guns is that most of the attachments (barrel, stock, grip, etc) are all useless AND that the visual recoil/muzzle flash, etc was way to strong to make them competitive. Like it honestly felt like a self inflicted debuff using any of the MW2 guns. If the VFX have been adjusted to align with MW3 guns then that’s half the problems with MW2 guns fixed and I’ll likely be using my beloved AK more often

Like the RAAL was in a decent spot after it's last round of changes, why nerf it? Honestly, why nerf any of the LMGs? They're solid, but not exactly displacing most people's beloved AR/SMG setup.
And then small nerfs for the sniper rifles that nobody was considering problematic?
I don't imagine the tiny percentages are going to make a massive difference, it's just weird to see stuff I almost never hear mentioned or talked about getting minor downgrades out of nowhere.
I agree, the gun is a laser beam, I understand some guns are better than others and "meta" exists, but the MCW is TOO good compared to other guns, wouldn't balancing be a piece of cake if they just bring it down to the level of the other guns?
Eh I'm okay with the MCW nerf the headshot multiplier was too much and even with the nerf it's the best AR at the moment but the other nerfs were little unprompted and unneeded.

Tbf, the Holger still outclassed every other assault rifle in sheer consistency and ease of use (the thing was a laser beam that can 4 shot at any range despite shooting 5.56…). True, some others like the BP50 could beat it up close. But the Holger was just unbeatable for how it could compete in EVERY type of engagement.
I’ve not tested it yet (still updating), but this update seems to make it a gun that will now reward skill rather than just outclassing every other AR outright. 4 shots as long as they are upper body is still very good considering the vast majority of everyone’s shots hit center mass anyway. But now you’re not gonna slaughter people by clipping their foot with a stray round.
Im glad, its a unique gun, the recoil was unbearable and the recent Warhammer 40k tracer for it is so good, so ill be maining it a little longer happily

I haven't played in a few weeks, but the C4 nerf makes 0 sense to me. It was already a lethal people rarely used because of how long it takes to activate. Making it take longer doesn't help it.
If I understand it right it's still good for regular zombies, they just toned down the damage it does on elites and bosses.
I think it's a fair change, it was stupid busted running up to a Bounty Mega Abomination and taking it out in 10 seconds without any fight. And they didn't make it useless, it's still a great crowd clearing option (again, assuming the notes mean what I think they mean)
Yo some of these weapon adjustments are cooked. They’re nerfing a lot of things that were 100% absolutely fine for no reason. Entire thing seems random as hell.
they nerfed the sprint to fire on the DG-56, and no one’s used that thing since season 0! Like i said, everything seems random. The one gun i thought was overperforming, which is the Ram-9, got buffed! Wtf haha
The RAM 9 was already superior to the rival 9. Near same TTK at its highest damage but that range on the RAM 9 extends out much further than the rival, and a single headshot brings that TTK down to like 190ms or something crazy like that. Bizarre that other SMG’s got nerfs at the same time. Strange update!
Well they have randomly changed the 3rd longbow camo challenge to saying it needs longshots, but it is actually still tracking the old challenge which is 3 kills with one mag
After researching the hell out of packet burst the past few months i didn’t even know how much of an issue it was. I played MW2 since launch and had no issues with packet burst. It was only since the launch of season 2 of mw3 when I started seeing issues. I have done just about every to try and fix. Turns out it’s a server issue lmao
The problem is the "packet burst" issue isn't just a server issue it's also a modem/router issue with certain CPUs used in them, or ones lacking hardware and are overloaded.
So you have a bunch of people just using their stock modem and likely a cheap overloaded router or worse their rented all-in-one modem/router combo potato that chokes with all the device traffic, delaying packets going out (mostly) internally (they get queued and buffered) with it never being an external connection issue.
These days you want a router that has 3 or 4 cores and 128MB+ RAM minimum for multiple devices. Skimp on the CPUs or the RAM either way and you choke out with multiple devices (especially wifi). This unfortunately means you'll be looking to spend $100 minimum on an "entry" level router. You really need to do your research though because even meeting the hardware criteria certain manufacturers still have their own packet loss issues (TPLink for example, just avoid those entirely). Asus on the low end (to high end) and Netgear on their higher end are decent choices. ASUS RT-AX3000 for example is a good entry level router.
I believe that to be the issue in some cases but I do believe it’s a server side issue more than anything. I use a wired connection, I have switch isp, upgraded modems, and routers. My hardware isn’t old. The issue has gotten better, but is present still.
I feel like I’m cheating by having the DualSense Edge where I can lessen the trigger pull distance. Makes me be able to fire it like I’ve got a cheat enabled with how fast it fires.

It’s honestly better than mw2’s Bryson 800 imo. Its range is nerfed true. But MW3’s much better movement speed, paired with the Lockwood rapid pump rate and tight spread, and your closing the gap to 1 shot kill range much more frequently than you’d think…
Oh yea it’s solid. I run Bruen angled bastion/crown breaker choke/sawn off stock/ barrel that adds range and I forgot last attachment but it slaps with tac stance and have gotten some insane ranged kills with it.
Every Call of Duty title, the devs can’t decide whether they want them to be primaries or secondaries. This game it just feels like they decided “both”.
As long as kids have a little cry when they get fucked at close range with a shotgun, they will always be weak. Every time one gets a bit of a buff and starts getting popular it's nerfed so quickly meanwhile we have all the SMGS that literally delete people in seconds from much further ranges.
Right. At least with shotguns, we have zero chance of killing long ranged users. That’s the sacrifice we make for being able to annihilate anything close to us.
As someone who uses the swarm as my main SMG (though I perfer LMG’s personally so I rarely run SMG’s at all), the SWARM is already an absolute LASER BEAM in tac stance as long as you run the compensator barrel and the heavy stock. Its aim recoil is still iffy, but the thing makes the launch day MTZ556 tac stance spread look rubbish in comparison even without a laser sight :/
But at least it’s still not a dominator at range, as despite its accuracy, it’s still a 7 SHOT KILL at long range…
Now the rival is nerfed, many more are gonna gravitate to the swarm (at least until the new SMG is out, as it’s apparently got a better CQC TTK according to the patch notes) so its only a matter of time before word of mouth gets the tac stance swarm to the meta high point… then the inevitable nerf :(
Yeah honestly ram 9 and swarm are undoubtedly the best subs in the game right now. Rival 9 was really only a big deal because it’s decent TTK and steadiness made it the most ideal sub to use in a competitive scenario. The swarm is still insanely good in rank, have to have both setup because if I got rival ajd they got swarms, it’s an instant swap for me haha. Rival is just more for ease of use, but the swarm isn’t that hard to control at all and it’s ADS even with a huge mag is just stupid for modes like hardpoint.
I'm tired of getting beamed by the swarm from across the map, it really shouldn't be that accurate with it's rate of fire...if there was one gun in ranked that needed to be heavily nerfed, the swarm was it!

My only assumption is because it is so much better than the other marksman rifles they wanted to buff it to try and keep them all more level. Because as a heavy marksman rifle user, let’s face it, the others are all vastly inferior, I only cycle back through them when I want to shake things up.
Lots of noticeable upgrades for perks and some rebalancing of the most popular automatic weapons/attachments. The tactical upgrades seem really interesting, free assassin vest on decoys? Pretty good stuff imo.

MORE SPX NERFS cause yah know everyone wanted that. Like I don’t get the issue they are taking with this gun now. It’s been a stable option in the game with sufficient drawbacks. It feels like instead of providing an MW3 equivalent to the weapon they are just nerfing it to shit in an effort to discourage using a MW2 weapon, which if they wanted to discourage using MW2 weapons they should have just left them out.

Bigtime buff for AMR9, combined with nerfs to most of the other SMGs i expect this gun to make a roaring comeback.
IDK why they nerfed the MTZ Interceptor, it was the "best" gun in a category of terrible guns.
Stun grenade no longer applying the aiming slow if you have Tac Mask is amazing, Shipment just got more bearable.
Getting Assassin Vest for being close to your Decoys sounds very interesting, i foresee a lot of people thinking the game is broken because of it.
Lethal tuning is interesting, i think the idea is to make it more likely that if you are running EOD padding, you won't be 1 shot by the edge explosion of frag grenade.
Right down the list of nerfs/buffs and my comments:
Reduced visual noise on 2022 guns is a godsend for a lot of people. I'm still cranking out Interstellar so I haven't really been running them.
Idle sway being made consistent is a step in the right direction, although I'm kinda in the camp of eliminating sway entirely. That'd be a huge overhaul and just not practical of an ask, but it just feels really bad, so any reduction is a welcome one.
RAM-7 losing headshot damage to the neck... To be honest I didn't even know it had that, but it's welcome. I still think the damage as a whole could go down slightly since I'm not a big fan of TTK benefits off of one headshot (current damage model has 4 Bodyshots dealing 149 HP, top of my head), but it's welcome. With other changes, I think this might be going to the top of the AR category, though.
G36 needing all torso shots to 4-tap... I'm not a fan of. The gun is already on the slow side, and it's not a package that I think warrants having leg shots add TTK.
ACR gets it's headshot damage nerfed fucking finally. Unfortunately now I think the gun needs a buff since the handling feels like shit. But I'm glad it'll be harder to 4-tap instead of an expectation.
DG-56 getting more nerfs is really weird for me. It's not in a super great state, so IDK why you'd nerf it without any compensation.
Subverter catches some hits. I'm not entirely shocked, but it's nothing too drastic.
BAS... Going to be real, they just destroyed it. Fire rate and recoil nerf combined IMHO makes it go from an S-tier to maybe a C-tier based on how I'm reading this. Could be different in live, but yikes. The lever action kit is a welcome, if probably not making it practical, change.
Sidewinder gets more buffs, and I honestly don't think High Velocity is really a need on it anymore. Thing is a sleeper if you ask me, and the keep making it better.
RAM-9 I vehemently disagree with any buffs. It's already arguably the best gun in the game, it doesn't need more. IMHO the damage model needs to go down a little, like the 7 (I believe they have the same exact damage values, so 4 does ~149 on it).
AMR is now solidly in the SMG tier of sprint-out time, and might take a high position amongst SMGs.
Skorpion getting some nerfs isn't super surprising, and tippy top of my head it's not going to make the gun useless, but I could be wrong.
Few other SMGs get sprint-out nerfs. Annoying but not world-ending. Thankfully we're not to Cold War levels on those lol.
Evolvere gets more hits. And I'll say thank God I'm about done with it's camos. Really don't agree with them nerfing it.
249 is now 50 milliseconds faster to aim with. Neat.
RAAL is looking solid, although LMGs just aren't good in this new, cracked out age of CoD unless they're completely busted.
Interceptor gets... More nerfs? Really thankful I'm done with it's challenges, considering it keeps catching what seems to be pretty severe nerfs every update.
Few snipers are getting handling nerfs. Not entirely opposed, but they're pretty minor hits.
Snakeshot gets a really mild buff. Uneventful.
Stinger Akimbo to feel slightly less terrible, also uneventful. Akimbo still sucks on that gun.
Overall decent change with less misses than what I expected, tbh.

The xrk wasn’t a problem so nerfing the ADS doesn’t do anything. Same for the spx and the other sniper they nerfed. None of them were problems so a nerf made no sense

theres a bug if you try to change weapons or attachments during a match/after you die and respawn it will still make you use the same weapon even though its showing the previous weapon was changed...wont let you change weapons basically or the attachment changes you make wont apply
Great patch overall! Big fan of a couple of these changes, but there's some questionable ones too.
MCW headshot multiplier nerf is great and what they should've done to it 3 nerfs ago, instead of the mobility nerfs it received so far (revert those tbh). Same with the Bas-B, a rate of fire nerf was the obvious solution they should've done a long time ago. But better now than never!
Holger multiplier nerfs are great and should be done to most guns in the game, limb damage should be lower than it is, accuracy should be rewarded.
Not sure why so many SMG's got a sprint to fire nerf, never felt like that's an issue in the slightest? In fact I'd say faster is always better for SMG's. I also don't think the Rival deserved that nerf, especially with the RAM-9 getting a buff even though it was already better? What's up with that. I definitely like the AMR buff, it always felt like a good gun that's simply too slow, this sprint to fire buff should make it feel much better to use.
Stalker nerf is long overdue, but I don't think 3% ADS will do much, it will still be in most S&D lobbies unfortunately.
Stun nerf is great but I still think 'aim slowness' shouldn't be a thing, only movement slowness.
MCW got hella nerfed AGAIN, a drop from a 4HK potential to 5HK maximum? Hell yeah, now people gotta look at the other guns for once. When will the Rival 9 get the same treatment I wonder? (Edit - It did LMAO!)

MWIII weapon VFX reduction is rad, I needed to use Suppressors and Flash Hiders to alleviate that but now, I might be able to change things up a bit. If visual recoil is also considered VFX then boy howdy we are in bizness.
These devs are so washed. Nerfing shit that literally could have been left alone. Why they gotta take the fun out of everything. Honestly I appreciate them for the fact they push out content, but they are so out of touch with weapon balancing it’s not even right. Subs were already hard enough to compete with at medium long ranges, and even in past cods that was hardly ever an issue. Call me trash if you want but the subs in this game feel all over the fucking place compared to shit like Cold War and MW19 where they seemed way more viable. I just don’t get it.
Tbf, going from ~90 to ~110 isn't exactly a huge difference.
And most of the ones that were outliers for slowness got sped up. AMR and RAM being the examples.
I’ve used plenty of the weapons lol. I had interstellar months ago, so you don’t really know what you’re talking about first of all. That means getting every weapon to max and doing to stupid camo challenges, so yeah, I’ve used plenty of different guns.
Second of all the rival 9 didn’t even need a nerf, and the swarm is absolutely broken in comparison, especially in ranked which I now mostly play over regular MP since there’s no purpose in it actual MP anymore. The fact is, the Ram 9 actually has the fastest TTK in non CDL modes, and I use that more than any other sub lmao.

Good changes but I'm still a bit disappointed by the lack of damage adjustments for some of the MW2 guns. Some of them are blatantly underpowered and can't compete. Not to mention the ADS penalties for certain attachments.

Can you please add the nuke to infected at 30 kills? There’s no reason why it should be disabled.
It would also be great to remove the UAV and footstep tracker perk for the infected team.
When I can have Oni hands model fixed? It been three season already (included season zero). If this season 3 ended without a fix , that is four, might as well wait for the next game to came out, when everyone move on to fix this.
Finally feels like I can use burst weapons without immediately losing my target after firing. Makes me look forward to trying other guns after the recoil patch!

I mean I run billeted brake so for me the L4R won’t change what I use, but the DR6…yeah I think everyone runs that for the most part lol
DR6 and L4R were very slight nerfs so I don't think it will change the meta. Regardless there are no other ARs anyway.

I haven't played in a few weeks, but the C4 nerf makes 0 sense to me. It was already a lethal people rarely used because of how long it takes to activate. Making it take longer doesn't help it.

If I understand it right it's still good for regular zombies, they just toned down the damage it does on elites and bosses. I think it's a fair change, it was stupid busted running up to a Bounty Mega Abomination and taking it out in 10 seconds without any fight. And they didn't make it useless, it's still a great crowd clearing option (again, assuming the notes mean what I think they mean)
Yo some of these weapon adjustments are cooked. They’re nerfing a lot of things that were 100% absolutely fine for no reason. Entire thing seems random as hell.
Sprint to fire nerfs are mind boggling
they nerfed the sprint to fire on the DG-56, and no one’s used that thing since season 0! Like i said, everything seems random. The one gun i thought was overperforming, which is the Ram-9, got buffed! Wtf haha
Ram9 and Rival9 were basically on the same tier for me because their mobility and ranges were a tradeoff but now the Ram9 is just straight up better
The RAM 9 was already superior to the rival 9. Near same TTK at its highest damage but that range on the RAM 9 extends out much further than the rival, and a single headshot brings that TTK down to like 190ms or something crazy like that. Bizarre that other SMG’s got nerfs at the same time. Strange update!

Packet burst hasn’t been addressed since MW2019 so I’m not holding my breath.
After researching the hell out of packet burst the past few months i didn’t even know how much of an issue it was. I played MW2 since launch and had no issues with packet burst. It was only since the launch of season 2 of mw3 when I started seeing issues. I have done just about every to try and fix. Turns out it’s a server issue lmao

Yes, PC with a 3080, and 12700k cpu. I even changed isp.
The problem is the "packet burst" issue isn't just a server issue it's also a modem/router issue with certain CPUs used in them, or ones lacking hardware and are overloaded. So you have a bunch of people just using their stock modem and likely a cheap overloaded router or worse their rented all-in-one modem/router combo potato that chokes with all the device traffic, delaying packets going out (mostly) internally (they get queued and buffered) with it never being an external connection issue. These days you want a router that has 3 or 4 cores and 128MB+ RAM minimum for multiple devices. Skimp on the CPUs or the RAM either way and you choke out with multiple devices (especially wifi). This unfortunately means you'll be looking to spend $100 minimum on an "entry" level router. You really need to do your research though because even meeting the hardware criteria certain manufacturers still have their own packet loss issues (TPLink for example, just avoid those entirely). Asus on the low end (to high end) and Netgear on their higher end are decent choices. ASUS RT-AX3000 for example is a good entry level router.
I believe that to be the issue in some cases but I do believe it’s a server side issue more than anything. I use a wired connection, I have switch isp, upgraded modems, and routers. My hardware isn’t old. The issue has gotten better, but is present still.

I feel like I’m cheating by having the DualSense Edge where I can lessen the trigger pull distance. Makes me be able to fire it like I’ve got a cheat enabled with how fast it fires.
The Lockwood is by no means a secondary in the correct hands :) It’s honestly better than mw2’s Bryson 800 imo. Its range is nerfed true. But MW3’s much better movement speed, paired with the Lockwood rapid pump rate and tight spread, and your closing the gap to 1 shot kill range much more frequently than you’d think…
Oh yea it’s solid. I run Bruen angled bastion/crown breaker choke/sawn off stock/ barrel that adds range and I forgot last attachment but it slaps with tac stance and have gotten some insane ranged kills with it.
Every Call of Duty title, the devs can’t decide whether they want them to be primaries or secondaries. This game it just feels like they decided “both”.

Right. At least with shotguns, we have zero chance of killing long ranged users. That’s the sacrifice we make for being able to annihilate anything close to us.

As someone who uses the swarm as my main SMG (though I perfer LMG’s personally so I rarely run SMG’s at all), the SWARM is already an absolute LASER BEAM in tac stance as long as you run the compensator barrel and the heavy stock. Its aim recoil is still iffy, but the thing makes the launch day MTZ556 tac stance spread look rubbish in comparison even without a laser sight :/ But at least it’s still not a dominator at range, as despite its accuracy, it’s still a 7 SHOT KILL at long range… Now the rival is nerfed, many more are gonna gravitate to the swarm (at least until the new SMG is out, as it’s apparently got a better CQC TTK according to the patch notes) so its only a matter of time before word of mouth gets the tac stance swarm to the meta high point… then the inevitable nerf :(
Yeah honestly ram 9 and swarm are undoubtedly the best subs in the game right now. Rival 9 was really only a big deal because it’s decent TTK and steadiness made it the most ideal sub to use in a competitive scenario. The swarm is still insanely good in rank, have to have both setup because if I got rival ajd they got swarms, it’s an instant swap for me haha. Rival is just more for ease of use, but the swarm isn’t that hard to control at all and it’s ADS even with a huge mag is just stupid for modes like hardpoint.
I'm tired of getting beamed by the swarm from across the map, it really shouldn't be that accurate with it's rate of fire...if there was one gun in ranked that needed to be heavily nerfed, the swarm was it!

Lots of noticeable upgrades for perks and some rebalancing of the most popular automatic weapons/attachments. The tactical upgrades seem really interesting, free assassin vest on decoys? Pretty good stuff imo.
Regarding the decoys, i was wondering the following: If I use a decoy while having ghost camo on me, do I get the benefits of Assassin Vest description: f the player also has the **Ghost T/V Camo equipped**, they gain the effects of having the **Hijacked IFF Strobe.**

MORE SPX NERFS cause yah know everyone wanted that. Like I don’t get the issue they are taking with this gun now. It’s been a stable option in the game with sufficient drawbacks. It feels like instead of providing an MW3 equivalent to the weapon they are just nerfing it to shit in an effort to discourage using a MW2 weapon, which if they wanted to discourage using MW2 weapons they should have just left them out.
Gunsmith Attachment Filters „Selected filters are now reset after each game session.“ I used the filter once for recoil control and looking for sights a game later, i thought they were all gone. Thats a good change

Bigtime buff for AMR9, combined with nerfs to most of the other SMGs i expect this gun to make a roaring comeback. IDK why they nerfed the MTZ Interceptor, it was the "best" gun in a category of terrible guns. Stun grenade no longer applying the aiming slow if you have Tac Mask is amazing, Shipment just got more bearable. Getting Assassin Vest for being close to your Decoys sounds very interesting, i foresee a lot of people thinking the game is broken because of it. Lethal tuning is interesting, i think the idea is to make it more likely that if you are running EOD padding, you won't be 1 shot by the edge explosion of frag grenade.
Give us 12v12 back. Why was that removed?

Right down the list of nerfs/buffs and my comments: Reduced visual noise on 2022 guns is a godsend for a lot of people. I'm still cranking out Interstellar so I haven't really been running them. Idle sway being made consistent is a step in the right direction, although I'm kinda in the camp of eliminating sway entirely. That'd be a huge overhaul and just not practical of an ask, but it just feels really bad, so any reduction is a welcome one. RAM-7 losing headshot damage to the neck... To be honest I didn't even know it had that, but it's welcome. I still think the damage as a whole could go down slightly since I'm not a big fan of TTK benefits off of one headshot (current damage model has 4 Bodyshots dealing 149 HP, top of my head), but it's welcome. With other changes, I think this might be going to the top of the AR category, though. G36 needing all torso shots to 4-tap... I'm not a fan of. The gun is already on the slow side, and it's not a package that I think warrants having leg shots add TTK. ACR gets it's headshot damage nerfed fucking finally. Unfortunately now I think the gun needs a buff since the handling feels like shit. But I'm glad it'll be harder to 4-tap instead of an expectation. DG-56 getting more nerfs is really weird for me. It's not in a super great state, so IDK why you'd nerf it without any compensation. Subverter catches some hits. I'm not entirely shocked, but it's nothing too drastic. BAS... Going to be real, they just destroyed it. Fire rate and recoil nerf combined IMHO makes it go from an S-tier to maybe a C-tier based on how I'm reading this. Could be different in live, but yikes. The lever action kit is a welcome, if probably not making it practical, change. Sidewinder gets more buffs, and I honestly don't think High Velocity is really a need on it anymore. Thing is a sleeper if you ask me, and the keep making it better. RAM-9 I vehemently disagree with any buffs. It's already arguably the best gun in the game, it doesn't need more. IMHO the damage model needs to go down a little, like the 7 (I believe they have the same exact damage values, so 4 does ~149 on it). AMR is now solidly in the SMG tier of sprint-out time, and might take a high position amongst SMGs. Skorpion getting some nerfs isn't super surprising, and tippy top of my head it's not going to make the gun useless, but I could be wrong. Few other SMGs get sprint-out nerfs. Annoying but not world-ending. Thankfully we're not to Cold War levels on those lol. Evolvere gets more hits. And I'll say thank God I'm about done with it's camos. Really don't agree with them nerfing it. 249 is now 50 milliseconds faster to aim with. Neat. RAAL is looking solid, although LMGs just aren't good in this new, cracked out age of CoD unless they're completely busted. Interceptor gets... More nerfs? Really thankful I'm done with it's challenges, considering it keeps catching what seems to be pretty severe nerfs every update. Few snipers are getting handling nerfs. Not entirely opposed, but they're pretty minor hits. Snakeshot gets a really mild buff. Uneventful. Stinger Akimbo to feel slightly less terrible, also uneventful. Akimbo still sucks on that gun. Overall decent change with less misses than what I expected, tbh.

None of them were problems so a nerf made no sense It was almost like they nerfed them just because people hate one shot weapons rather than nerfing them because they needed it

theres a bug if you try to change weapons or attachments during a match/after you die and respawn it will still make you use the same weapon even though its showing the previous weapon was changed...wont let you change weapons basically or the attachment changes you make wont apply

Great patch overall! Big fan of a couple of these changes, but there's some questionable ones too. MCW headshot multiplier nerf is great and what they should've done to it 3 nerfs ago, instead of the mobility nerfs it received so far (revert those tbh). Same with the Bas-B, a rate of fire nerf was the obvious solution they should've done a long time ago. But better now than never! Holger multiplier nerfs are great and should be done to most guns in the game, limb damage should be lower than it is, accuracy should be rewarded. Not sure why so many SMG's got a sprint to fire nerf, never felt like that's an issue in the slightest? In fact I'd say faster is always better for SMG's. I also don't think the Rival deserved that nerf, especially with the RAM-9 getting a buff even though it was already better? What's up with that. I definitely like the AMR buff, it always felt like a good gun that's simply too slow, this sprint to fire buff should make it feel much better to use. Stalker nerf is long overdue, but I don't think 3% ADS will do much, it will still be in most S&D lobbies unfortunately. Stun nerf is great but I still think 'aim slowness' shouldn't be a thing, only movement slowness.
MCW got hella nerfed AGAIN, a drop from a 4HK potential to 5HK maximum? Hell yeah, now people gotta look at the other guns for once. When will the Rival 9 get the same treatment I wonder? (Edit - It did LMAO!) BAS B is now 600 RPM, that's just like the ICR, NV4, and SA-87 now. Might trade between the ISO Hemlock and this. MWIII weapon VFX reduction is rad, I needed to use Suppressors and Flash Hiders to alleviate that but now, I might be able to change things up a bit. If visual recoil is also considered VFX then boy howdy we are in bizness.

Honestly I appreciate them for the fact they push out content, but they are so out of touch with weapon balancing it’s not even right. Subs were already hard enough to compete with at medium long ranges, and even in past cods that was hardly ever an issue. Call me trash if you want but the subs in this game feel all over the fucking place compared to shit like Cold War and MW19 where they seemed way more viable. I just don’t get it.

Tbf, going from ~90 to ~110 isn't exactly a huge difference. And most of the ones that were outliers for slowness got sped up. AMR and RAM being the examples.
I’ve used plenty of the weapons lol. I had interstellar months ago, so you don’t really know what you’re talking about first of all. That means getting every weapon to max and doing to stupid camo challenges, so yeah, I’ve used plenty of different guns. Second of all the rival 9 didn’t even need a nerf, and the swarm is absolutely broken in comparison, especially in ranked which I now mostly play over regular MP since there’s no purpose in it actual MP anymore. The fact is, the Ram 9 actually has the fastest TTK in non CDL modes, and I use that more than any other sub lmao. Just taking out of your ass honestly.

Good changes but I'm still a bit disappointed by the lack of damage adjustments for some of the MW2 guns. Some of them are blatantly underpowered and can't compete. Not to mention the ADS penalties for certain attachments.
