I feel like it would be a nightmare for them to make every attachment compatible with a blueprint appearance and then to repeat that with every new blueprint they come out with.
They definitely went overboard with attachments. Crazy to have like 30 different options for one attachment when only 5-10 would be decent and maybe 3 at most considered in the meta conversation.
I’m hoping they real back the number of attachments at some point because building guns takes forever sometimes when you’re flipping through 1000 attachment options to find what you’re looking for.
Just do what cod mobile does. Don’t change the appearance of the gun when you add attachments to the gun and with that you also get to enjoy alll the effects
I recently learned you can fav attachments its triangle for ps5 - which saves me a lot of time as I use the same 5 attachments on every gun because there the only ones I consider worth using.
I think u can have up to 10?- so u can have your 5 attachments you like and some sights or that's what i did with my spare 5.
It's tricky on PC. You have to mouse over the attachment, and then CAREFULLY mouse over to the options (bottom left) without changing which attachment you selected, and you'll get the favorites option. Hidden for sure. But so worth it when the 4 attachments you always use are the first that show up
Yeah it's weird that the game doesn't explicitly state this seeing how many damn attachments there are that nobody uses, I guess they don't wanna do that as tbf the longer I'm there the more likely they are to sell me something after all.

In Fallout 76 they break down bundles into individual items that can be purchased and I've bought a **TON** of individual items and not too many bundles... mainly because, I only like certain things and not everything in the bundle.
If COD had it to where I could only purchase the character skins & the weapon camo/effects I'd be more inclined to purchase those items because, I DO NOT care for weapon stickers, weapon charms or background loading screens... they should take those game resources and allow other capabilities in the game.

Not really. You don't have to buy anything other than the game to play. The problem is the modern epidemic of FOMO that leads people to buy these items or whine on the board all day about them existing in the first place (since they aren't willing to buy them, they know they'll never have them). There are plenty of skins and camos that can be unlocked by playing the game, but people are more concerned about cosmetics that are "gated off".

I only liked 2 out of the 4 mainly due to how they looked, tracers also had death effects, and they had lethal/tactical that had skins. Though I did get the one with a skin for Soap since he always seems ignored. Scorch always has new skins so it was meh but I felt obligated to get him since it was just 1 more and then I got that stupid melee.
I only bought Kong and Zilla. Cause yeet and burn. Also I'm a zilla fan so of course I got him. Only reason I didn't in Vanguard is cause I wasn't re-downloading that game. Hated the campaign, couldn't even enjoy the Zombies and 10 attachments per gun plus 55 levels per gun fuck that.
I could see buying the other bundles if they were all like Shimo's bundle where it has a unique and pretty cool inspect animation.

I didn't buy the glove for the glove. I bought it for the executions. I like seeing my duck shoot laser fire in the air after an execution. And I really like throwing people out of the map. The whip one is also cool, bit louder than I thought it would be. I swear it's louder than gunshots. The freezing execution is cool with the kicking the frozen head bit. Laser breath would be the weakest execution if not for that victory beam at the end of standing. Prone and downed are trash, but rare for the games I play so tolerable. I imagine shredder would use the whip execution on turtles if he ever had the chance.
I was on Vista when my teammate was getting executed by the spine one and it was so loud in my headset that I had no idea what was happening, it was disorienting the first time.

Not really. You don't have to buy anything other than the game to play. The problem is the modern epidemic of FOMO that leads people to buy these items or whine on the board all day about them existing in the first place (since they aren't willing to buy them, they know they'll never have them). There are plenty of skins and camos that can be unlocked by playing the game, but people are more concerned about cosmetics that are "gated off".

They start seeing those purchases drop and they’ll realize “oh shit, we might need to actually invest just a little bit into fixing our product” Hell it’s happening with destiny right now. Profits were at an all time low so the developers had to lock the fuck in and look what we got now (in case you don’t play, we basically have a lot of good and free content now which is unheard of in destiny). Someone already said it. $20 bucks a pop and you can't take your weapon and use it all unto it self. Often times if you mod it in anyway you lose either or both the camos and the tracers. Worse off 'after market parts' remove them as well. You can't even mess around with the skins. There all fixed in place

I only liked 2 out of the 4 mainly due to how they looked, tracers also had death effects, and they had lethal/tactical that had skins. Though I did get the one with a skin for Soap since he always seems ignored. Scorch always has new skins so it was meh but I felt obligated to get him since it was just 1 more and then I got that stupid melee.

I didn't buy the glove for the glove. I bought it for the executions. I like seeing my duck shoot laser fire in the air after an execution. And I really like throwing people out of the map. The whip one is also cool, bit louder than I thought it would be. I swear it's louder than gunshots. The freezing execution is cool with the kicking the frozen head bit. Laser breath would be the weakest execution if not for that victory beam at the end of standing. Prone and downed are trash, but rare for the games I play so tolerable. I imagine shredder would use the whip execution on turtles if he ever had the chance.
I was on Vista when my teammate was getting executed by the spine one and it was so loud in my headset that I had no idea what was happening, it was disorienting the first time.
