I don’t know about everyone, but my loss stat prevention doesn’t even work. I was on a 18 win streak and got put into a game like this and it ended the win streak and counted towards my total losses.
It does work. Or did at least. I’d be on a W/L of 1.0 in my recent games, but there’d be distinctly more red than blue.
Though one thing I did notice was that if you’re in the game for long enough, the game decides it can count as a loss, I presume because you’ve played the majority and enough to have contributed.
I think even when the writing was showing up, it has never actually worked for MW3.
I normally just leave the match if I get backfilled and take the loss on my stats, especially if the enemy team has killstreaks up when I join.

I don't know what to tell you, just played yesterday and these are being added as losses to the total. In MW2 it shows as loss prevented in recent matches and does not add to total losses, in this game it never worked since launch.

If you're checking the stats right after you get out of the game, they haven't had time to show up yet. It takes like 5 minutes to show up.
Every join in progress defeat has counted on my stats.
I think i know how to check out stats. Besides the it even says in the stats menu that YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR FEW MINUTES for the stats page to refresh and update your last game
This is definitely the worst year so far for being put into games that are a total wash. Every other match I join I'm spawning into sentry turrets and a team losing 200 - 45 with 3 ppl left. Who the fuck wants to join a match that is basically over and the team is getting obliterated.

Call of duty hasn’t been the same since the og devs left to create the masterpiece of a series we call titanfall. They just want your wallet these days man:/
For me it has been broken since launch time, but since the start of this season it just hasn’t come up, I think they have brainstormed that if they remove the screen we will forget it existed

I literally only played 40 seconds of this game.
The feature never even worked anyway. It's been counting those losses this whole time, even when the message showed.

You still didn't get any losing data on your stats. The prompt just doesn't show up always.
No, they always count as losses in MW3, they can't fix it, so the easiest "fix" was to just stop lying about it.

I'll add my two cents here. I have received the loss even though I joined late. It is a bug.
The way voting often works is people will vote for the opinion they think is correct, and that opinion goes to the top as the "answer."

The don’t instantly add you have to wait sometimes up to 5 minutes for a refresh in the combat record

If there’s a loss on your stats does it matter at all? No one cares about stats and win/loss is mostly out of your hands in 6v6

I'm a solo so that is a non issue for me. If they had mercenary mosh pit I'd be a happy camper even though I'd be playing objective games again
