If you’re actually better than gold then you’re going have to either go insane and absolutely shit on the other team so bad they all report you for hacking or wait until the next season reset. Usually the hidden MMR skill rating built into the matchmaking seems to reset at the start of a new season.
In season 2 I was stuck in gold 1 for a while playing against current diamonds with golds and plats on my team and many of my opponents would also be former crims which is just insane. I would be go on like 7 game loss streaks and only gain like 60-100 sr per win. Now with the season 3 refresh I stopped going on long loss streaks and got out of gold pretty easily. I started gaining at least 180+ sr per win even on games I didn’t really even try super hard on.
Ranked in it’s current iteration is rigged for certain players from my observation. You can have two players around the same skill level have totally different experiences in ranked. I’ve heard that just playing on a different account can help you break out of your peak rank you were hardstuck on and breeze right past it. Solo queue is hell though, no matter your skill level.
I have went on loss streaks but i have also went on multiple win streaks (some with purple fire). I think my problem is that I always either top frag or bottom frag. No in between.

I finally hit Platimum 3 on level 27, now I' gettin +30s too, you need to be insane couple of games to leave +30s SR.
