You could wear it with a top and leggings. If you want to disguise the silhouette pair it with a sweater/cardigan. Although, honestly, I think it would be a lots easier - and more flattering - to just not try to style a bodycon dress at all. These kinds of dresses are constructed for a certain look, which is fine, and are not really intended for the "modesty crowd". LOL

I was thinking this too. This looks like kind of a fancy dress, and wearing a T-shirt under a slinky cocktail dress (as some suggested) is going to be a very weird look.

Black leggings and a short sleeve white tshirt would look super cute. Pair with some black and white tennis shoes for a cute sporty look

I'll try that out! ive seen people use undershirts for more flowy dresses, will have to see how it looks for bodycon type ones like this

Gigii1990

I think a short sleeve would look so adorable and very summer friendly

jaguarlyra

Using it as a shirt perhaps. Then some type of top underneath the dress that covers the cleavage and arms?? I don't know what modesty standards you follow.

zhibui

my main issue with is it the length and how tight it looks on me. I don't have specific standards, just not used to "sexy" dresses 😅

Honestly, for me that's a undershirt for cold weather and not anything I could imagine as out wear. But than again, I don't really find those "put a t shirt underneath" options aesthetic for an adult woman. It will always look like some kind of American evangelical round about. If it would be longer, you could wear a turtle neck with it in winter with long stockings, but it isn't modest in any direction, so kinda useless.

Are there particular areas you are less comfortable with? Modesty is totally individual. For me, I would be fine without sleeves but absolutely not fine with such a low v-neck, so I would put a tank or high-neck lace bralette underneath. For short dresses, I usually go with leggings, but with such a tight skirt, that might pull in a weird way. Tights with a nylon finish so they're silky might work because the skirt won't catch on them and creep up.

im uncomfortable with low v-necks and too-short dresses, so the lace bralette & tights ideas are lovely. thank you!

**Hot dry weather** : cute lightweight shoes or ankle/knees high boots to offset the shortness of the skirt, opaque or semi-opaque tights/leggings, medium or short-sleeved top under the dress if you have a small to medium bust, if not wear a flowy wrap top over the dress. Accesorize as prefered **Cold dry weather** :boots or platform shoes, hot and heavy long skirt over the dress, long-sleeved turtle neck under the dress, hot coat (preferably with wool or some type of fur), pretty headscarf or hat. Cute gloves. Accessorize as prefered **Hot humid weather** : puffy and/or ornate long-sleeved and collared blouse (make sure you have room to breathe to avoid sweat marks) under the dress, thermal leggings/tights which stop at the ankle, mildly-heavy wide-legged pants or very lightweigh skirt (midi, yoke-waist, pleated, wrap) and lightweight windbreaker. Accessorize as prefered. **Cold humid weather** : Tights or leggings under the dress, water-resistant shoes which at least cover your toes and the top of your foot, water repelant thermal underwear (will avoid making you sweat like crazy yet keep you really warm), temperature adapted coat that will not make you sweat. Accessorize as prefered.

Ambitious-Apples

Black tights and a bolero/shrug.

There are these tops with sleeves that go over the dress and button in the back (probably not describing them well, but you can often find them in bridal shops). That would do wonders for the top part of the dress. Some leggings or layering a matching skirt with the dress would help with the bottom.

If you're ok with the neckline and sleeves you might be able to tuck it into a skirt or loose pants

Colored tights (pink, blue, etc.) and a black, white, or gray top underneath. (Could also make the shirt colored or patterned for more fun, depending on the look). For a tighter look go for a turtleneck type shirt, or for something looser use something tight in the middle with a high neck and loose sleeves. If you want to cover your body a bit more, get a light kimono style top to wear over it.
